“You go back first, I need to sort out my thoughts…”

Makino lowered her head and walked quickly toward the bar, her fingers unconsciously straightening the already neatly arranged wine glasses.

Kaguya looked at her flustered figure, a meaningful smile curling at the corner of his mouth.

He turned and pushed open the tavern’s wooden door; the night breeze was slightly cool.

Those few young men hiding in the dark saw Kaguya come out and disappeared into the twilight one after another.

Looking back at Makino’s tavern, Kaguya smiled slightly.

“A very easy woman to fool~”

Makino stood behind the bar, her fingertips unconsciously stroking the rim of a wine glass.

She looked in the direction Kaguya had left, her heartbeat not settling for a long time.

That sudden kiss seemed to still be burning on her lips, leaving her both embarrassed and confused.

“What a strange person…”

Makino whispered to herself, but found that she was actually looking forward to tomorrow’s meeting.

This thought made her shake her head abruptly, her hair brushing against her burning cheeks.

Makino turned to start tidying up the tavern, but her movements were much slower than usual, her thoughts constantly drifting to the man who said he would take her to see the whole world.

After returning to the dragon soaring ten thousand miles, Kaguya went straight to the dining room.

“You actually didn’t wait for me to eat.”

Seeing the four women already eating in the dining room, Kaguya curled his lips in a mock-aggrieved manner.

“Sister Sweetheart said you wouldn’t be coming back tonight, so we didn’t wait for you…”

Kaya hurriedly stood up to prepare utensils for Kaguya.

“Master returned so quickly, did you fail?”

Honey Queen stood up and came to Kaguya, taking his arm and blinking mischievously.

“Definitely. If he had succeeded, would he have come back?”

Nami continued cutting the steak on her plate without looking up, a teasing smile on her lips.

“You guys underestimate me too much.”

Kaguya pulled out a chair and sat down, taking the utensils Kaya handed him.

“Makino is already wavering. Now I just need to add a little more fuel to the fire, and she’ll come with me.”

“Then congratulations to our Lord Captain, you’re about to get another beauty~”

Nojiko served a steak for Kaguya, a gentle smile in her eyes.

“Don’t talk nonsense, I’m finding a chef for everyone.

My starting point is to consider everyone’s life at sea.”

Kaguya took a bite of the steak with a fake serious expression, but couldn’t hide the pride in his eyes.

A burst of pleasant laughter immediately rang out in the dining room.

Honey Queen lightly poked his cheek.

“Lord Captain, lying will turn your nose long~”

“What Sister Sweetheart said is true. I heard from my father that Usopp’s nose grew so long because he liked to lie…”

Kaya’s words caused a burst of cheerful laughter in the dining room.

Kaguya covered his nose with exaggerated drama, making Nojiko unable to help but laugh and give him a playful slap.

The next morning, Kaguya moved aside the jade-like arms and rounded beautiful legs draped over him and quietly walked out of the room.

After Kaguya left, Nami and Honey Queen opened their eyes at the same time.

As soon as the two women met each other’s eyes, they immediately turned away, a blush appearing on both their faces.

Nami cleared her throat and pretended to put on her clothes as if nothing had happened, while Honey Queen quietly pulled the quilt up, covering her slightly burning cheeks.

“Not getting up yet? vixen?”

Nami couldn’t help but tease Honey Queen when she saw her still lingering in bed.

“Hmph, some people were much more proactive than me last night~”

Honey Queen fought back, not to be outdone.

“Wasn’t that because you begged me to help you…”

Before Nami could finish her embarrassing words, Honey Queen lunged over and covered her mouth, and the two of them rolled into a ball, playing around.

After last night, the relationship between the two women had become more harmonious.

After going downstairs, Kaguya found Kaya already starting a simple warm-up exercise on the deck.

“Up so early?”

Kaya stopped her steps upon hearing him.

“Because I can’t exercise for a long time, I thought about spreading the exercise time into different periods of the day.”

Kaya wiped the fine sweat from her forehead and showed a gentle smile.

“Pay attention to the intensity of the exercise. Your constitution hasn’t fully recovered yet; too much is as bad as too little.”

Kaguya gave a serious reminder.

“Yes, I’ll be careful.”

Kaya nodded slightly and then continued running around the deck.

In the kitchen, Nojiko was preparing breakfast. Kaguya walked in and smelled an inviting aroma.

Wearing only a bikini and an apron, Nojiko was flipping fried eggs in a frying pan at the stove. The golden egg liquid curled slightly at the edge of the pan, making a sizzling sound.

Kaguya hugged Nojiko’s body from behind and whispered in her ear.

“My beauty~

Dressing like this, isn’t this inducing me to commit a crime?”

The tips of Nojiko’s ears turned slightly red, but she pretended to be calm and continued flipping the fried eggs.

“Didn’t the two sisters feed you enough last night?”

Just as Nojiko finished speaking, Kaguya gave her earlobe a mischievous bite, causing her hand to shake and almost flip the fried egg out of the pan.

“They are them, you are you…”

Kaguya’s hands wandered restlessly around her waist.

“Every beauty has a unique flavor~”

“Slick-tongued.”

Nojiko gave him a reproachful nudge with her elbow, but couldn’t hide the smile at the corner of her mouth.

“Let go quickly, the eggs are going to burn.”

“Compared to fried eggs, I’d rather eat you for breakfast…”

…Breakfast time—

“I clearly smelled fried eggs, why aren’t there any for breakfast?”

Nami looked around the dining table and asked in confusion.

Hearing this, Nojiko immediately lowered her head, her earlobes turning bright red as she stirred the lean meat congee in her bowl.

“The fried eggs… I accidentally burned them.”

She spoke hesitantly, secretly glaring at Kaguya, who looked as if nothing had happened.

“Sister actually burned the eggs? It seems we really do need a professional chef.”

Nami nodded, believing it to be true.

“Master~

Are you going to the village again today?”

Honey Queen sipped her black tea elegantly, her eyes flashing with a bit of playfulness.

Kaguya took the leg meat Kaya handed him, a determined smile rising at the corner of his mouth.

“Of course I’m going. Our new chef is still waiting for me.”

Foosha Village was exceptionally quiet in the morning light. Makino was wiping the sign in front of the tavern.

When she saw that slender figure walking out of the morning mist, her fingers unconsciously tightened around the rag.

“Good morning, my Makino.”

Kaguya deliberately emphasized the word “my,” and seeing the other’s earlobes instantly turn crimson, Kaguya pulled out a bunch of wild roses covered in dew from behind him like a magic trick.

“I dreamed of you wearing a wreath of these last night. You were so beautiful I couldn’t sleep.”

Makino’s fingertips trembled slightly as she took the bouquet. The elegant fragrance lingered at the tip of her nose. Kaguya’s words reminded her of that heart-pounding dream last night.

Makino lowered her head to hide her burning cheeks, but heard the wooden door creak—Kaguya had already pushed the door open and entered as if he were at home.

Makino hurriedly followed into the tavern, holding the bouquet.
