One Piece : I Became a Monster Just by Eating
Chapter 82 Entering the Grand Line
“Hold on tight!”
Kaguya shouted, his hands tightly gripping the ship’s gunwale. Moomoo let out a long cry and suddenly accelerated, rushing into the waterway.
The hull was instantly lifted by the surging current, climbing almost vertically upward.
“Whoa—”
Dezaya screamed with excitement, her hair flying in the wild wind.
Kaya closed her eyes tightly, death-gripping the railing, her face turning a bit pale.
Nojiko and Makino supported each other, looking at the rising sky with both tension and anticipation.
Nami was fully focused on maintaining the Barrier, protecting the hull from being scraped by the rock walls on both sides.
Fine beads of sweat broke out on her forehead, but her gaze remained firm.
“This is magnificent!”
Kaguya looked up; the end of the water flow seemed to connect with the horizon.
Lightning darted through the clouds, illuminating the entire ascending waterway like a miracle.
Finally, the dragon soaring ten thousand miles broke through the clouds, and the hull suddenly felt light, as if leaping out from the top of a waterfall.
Blinding sunlight spilled onto everyone’s faces, and the roar of the storm was instantly left behind.
They had reached the peak of the Red Line, and their vision suddenly opened up—a vast, boundless sea of clouds surged beneath them, with seven rainbows spanning the sky like bridges.
“We… we’re really flying!”
Nojiko let go of the railing, only to find her palms drenched in sweat.
Makino looked at the shocking sight before her and couldn’t help but marvel.
“This is just like a fairyland from a fairy tale!”
At this moment, she was certain that her decision to go to sea with Kaguya was correct.
The next moment, the dragon soaring ten thousand miles and Moomoo fell back onto the waterway.
The hull kicked up huge waves on the water’s surface, and the inertia sent everyone stumbling.
Moomoo’s cry echoed across the open mountain peak; it skillfully adjusted its direction, leading the ship further along the rapid waterway.
Once everyone regained their footing, they found that the scenery around them had undergone a world-shaking change.
On the other side of the Red Line was a completely different landscape—under the azure sky, clouds spread out like cotton, and a few floating islands were faintly visible in the distance, like a dream.
“Is that the Grand Line?”
Kaya’s eyes widened, her voice trembling slightly with excitement.
“That’s right!”
Kaguya stood at the bow, the sea breeze making his robes flap loudly.
“Welcome to the Grand Line, everyone!”
“Moo~”
Moomoo pulled the dragon soaring ten thousand miles downstream and quickly rushed out of Reverse Mountain.
Fortunately, the Island Whale Laboon was not blocking the way at the end of the waterway, and the dragon soaring ten thousand miles entered the Grand Line smoothly.
Moomoo pulled the dragon soaring ten thousand miles along the calm sea for a distance before coming to a stop.
Everyone was still immersed in the thrilling adventure from just now.
“Moo~”
Kaguya walked into the cabin, took out two large pieces of Sea Kings meat, and threw them to Moomoo.
“Good work!”
“You can rest for now!”
Moomoo happily swallowed the meat, let out a satisfied cry, and then slowly sank into the sea.
On the deck, everyone finally relaxed, slumping down beneath the sails.
Dezaya waved her arms excitedly.
“That dive just now was so exhilarating! I felt like my heart was going to jump out!”
Nami wiped the sweat from her forehead and opened a logbook.
“Kaguya, according to this logbook, we are currently at the beginning of the Grand Line.”
“Starting from here, seven different routes branch out ahead, and they all eventually converge at the same endpoint—the Sabaody Archipelago.”
“Which route should we take now?”
“Didn’t we buy the eternal poses for the seven starting islands earlier?”
“Let’s choose Whiskey Peak first. It’s a gathering place for Bounty Hunters, perfect for gathering some intelligence on the Grand Line.”
“Okay, I’ll go get the eternal pose.”
Nami put away the sea chart and logbook and headed toward the cabin.
“Everyone, take a break.”
Kaguya walked over to a lounge chair in the rest area and lay down, while Honey Queen swayed her hips and lay down on Kaguya’s right side.
“Master~”
“Now that we’ve entered the Grand Line, shouldn’t we have our own pirate flag?”
“After all, you are a great pirate with a bounty of fifty million~”
“Kaguya isn’t a pirate; he’s a hero.”
Tashigi, who had just walked over, countered.
“Tch~”
“A hero with a fifty million bounty~”
“The Marine is really something else~”
Honey Queen’s words left Tashigi speechless for a moment.
“Alright, right now I’m the only one on the ship with a bounty.”
“Let’s ask everyone if they want to fly a pirate flag.”
Kaguya gently pulled Tashigi over and took her into his arms.
Makino and Nojiko lay down on Kaguya’s left side.
“It doesn’t matter whether we fly a pirate flag or not; we’re not real pirates anyway.”
Nojiko rested her head on her arms, looking up at the azure sky.
“But having a signature flag would be nice.”
Makino suggested with a smile.
“At least it would let people recognize us at a glance.”
“Yeah, yeah!”
Dezaya pulled Kaya and lay down on Honey Queen’s side.
“It has to be designed to be super cool! Preferably with some flame special effects!”
Kaya also softly agreed.
“I think it could be designed to be more gentle; after all, we aren’t a vicious Pirate Crew…”
“Gentle? That won’t do!”
Honey Queen lazily rolled over, her finger lightly tracing Kaguya’s arm.
“Master is a big shot with a fifty million bounty; the flag should naturally be a bit more domineering~”
Nami walked out of the cabin with the eternal pose, and hearing their discussion, she couldn’t help but chime in.
“I think the flag could combine everyone’s characteristics.”
“Like my Barrier, my sister’s Pteranodon, Honey Queen’s Paste, Kaya’s medical skills…”
“Won’t there be too many elements? Besides, this guy will definitely find more Sisters for us in the future; we’d have to change the pirate flag every time.”
Nojiko listened to Nami’s suggestion and couldn’t help but joke with a laugh.
Her words caused a burst of laughter from everyone, and Kaguya shrugged helplessly.
“What my sister said makes sense… so what should we do?”
“I think since Master is the Captain, the pirate flag should only have Master’s characteristics~”
“Other Pirate Crews design their flags that way too~”
Honey Queen lazily toyed with her long hair and made a suggestion.
“I think that works.”
“Yeah, it’s simpler that way.”
…The girls nodded in agreement.
“But what characteristics does Kaguya have…”
Nami looked at Kaguya, who seemed to have no special trademarks other than being handsome and having an outstanding temperament, and she tilted her head in thought.
The other girls also fell into deep thought.
“I’ve got it! Kaguya’s biggest characteristic is being a playboy. Why don’t we draw a red heart on the pirate flag with two flowers crossing behind it?”
Nami suddenly thought of a good idea and clapped her hands excitedly.
“Pfft! That’s slander!”
“I’m not a playboy; I’m just full of universal love!”
Kaguya spat out a mouthful of blood at the words and pointed at Nami with a face full of indignation.
The girls, however, had already dissolved into a fit of laughter.
“Nami’s idea is good. Let’s use this pirate flag; from now on, we’ll be called the Flower Heart Pirates.”
Nojiko laughed so hard she was doubled over, and even the usually gentle and quiet Kaya covered her mouth and let out a laugh.
Tashigi blushed and lightly punched Kaguya’s shoulder, while Honey Queen took the opportunity to blow into his ear.
“Master it seems everyone has seen through your true nature”
“You guys…”
Kaguya helplessly held his forehead, looking at the group of girls laughing together, but the corners of his mouth couldn’t help but curl up in a doting arc.
“It’s decided then. I’ll go adjust the course; you guys go draw the pirate flag.”
Nami took the eternal pose and walked toward the mast. The sails were lowered, and Nami steered the rudder toward Whiskey Peak.
Moomoo leisurely followed beside the dragon soaring ten thousand miles.
Kaguya watched the girls drawing the pirate flag stroke by stroke on the deck and shook his head helplessly.
Kaguya had no requirements for the pirate flag or the name of the Pirate Crew; as long as the girls were happy, he would let them be.
