One Piece : I Became a Monster Just by Eating
Chapter 83 Whiskey Peak
After hanging the newly drawn pirate flag on the mast, the girls weren’t satisfied and drew an even larger ‘Playboy’ pirate flag pattern on the sail.
“Soon the entire Grand Line will know the great name of our ‘Flower Heart Pirates’!”
Dezaya announced proudly with her hands on her hips.
“Hey, hey, if you guys do this, my reputation will be completely ruined…”
Kaguya protested with a bitter smile, but clearly no one paid any attention to his opinion.
Under the guidance of the eternal pose, the Riding the Wind for Ten Thousand Miles slowly moved towards Whiskey Peak.
Kaguya was on the deck guiding Dezaya and Makino in their cultivation.
Nojiko and Tashigi were in the distance sparring with their swordsmanship.
“Kaguya, I want to learn that move you used to cut the Logia user.
You aren’t planning to only teach me after you’ve slept with me, are you?”
Dezaya asked while lifting a heavy barbell, sweat sliding down her fair skin.
Kaguya almost choked on his own saliva upon hearing this, and he knocked on her head, caught between laughter and tears.
“What are you thinking, you brat!
That move is called Armament Haki; one must have a strong physique to master it.
Your current foundation isn’t solid enough; you need to build up your physical fitness first.”
Dezaya curled her lip and continued her strength training, but a competitive light flickered in her eyes.
At that moment, Honey Queen walked over carrying iced fruit juice and leaned lazily against Kaguya’s shoulder.
“Master~ Do you want me to give you a massage to help you relax?”
Slap!
Kaguya gave Honey Queen’s perky buttocks a heavy smack.
“Everyone is training, yet you aren’t training and are here making trouble instead.”
Honey Queen rubbed her buttocks, feigning grievance.
“I just saw that Master was working too hard~”
Honey Queen gave Kaguya a flirtatious glare, but she still obediently went to the side to practice Observation Haki.
Compared to Armament Haki, which has strict requirements for physical strength, Observation Haki focuses more on the development of perception.
Therefore, Nami and Nojiko, who had been with Kaguya the longest, had already vaguely touched the threshold of Observation Haki.
And although Honey Queen hadn’t been with Kaguya for long, her extraordinary talent allowed her to show amazing potential in this area.
Time quickly reached evening, and the Riding the Wind for Ten Thousand Miles slowly stopped on the calm, waveless sea.
After furling the sails, Kaguya returned to the cabin; dinner had already been prepared by the girls working together.
The dining table was covered with a sumptuous spread of dishes, the aroma filling the air and making everyone’s mouth water.
“To celebrate our successful arrival at the Grand Line, cheers!”
Everyone raised their glasses, the crisp sound of clinking echoing in the cabin.
After eating dinner, everyone lay on the deck enjoying the starry sky of the Grand Line.
The girls chatted amongst themselves.
“Hey, can you two not do this on the deck? There are still people here.”
Nami looked at Honey Queen clinging to Kaguya like an octopus and couldn’t help but protest with a red face.
“Oh my~
We’re all Sisters, what’s the big deal~
It’s not like you haven’t seen it before~”
Honey Queen said nonchalantly.
Not far away, Kaya’s face was flushed, but her eyes couldn’t help but steal glances in this direction.
Although Honey Queen didn’t care, Kaguya still gently picked her up and walked towards the Captain’s Cabin.
As the night deepened, after Kaguya had fed Honey Queen, he went downstairs to Makino’s room.
He hadn’t forgotten Makino’s resentment from this morning; he had to perform well tonight.
A night passed, and under Kaguya’s industrious labor throughout the night, Makino finally fell into a deep, satisfied sleep.
When the morning sun spilled into the room through the porthole, Kaguya got up quietly and tucked in the corners of the blanket for the sleeping Makino.
Because Makino had just fallen asleep, this morning’s breakfast could only be prepared by Nojiko and the others.
In the kitchen, Nojiko and the girls were already preparing breakfast.
Seeing Kaguya enter, Nojiko couldn’t help but tease him.
“Don’t you know how to cherish a woman? Sister Makino’s physique isn’t that strong; aren’t you afraid of hurting her?”
Honey Queen also chimed in from the side.
“Yeah~
I could hear the sounds from upstairs; is Makino really okay?”
Kaguya rubbed his nose and smiled somewhat sheepishly.
“I have a sense of proportion. Makino is just tired; let her sleep a bit longer.”
Nojiko shook her head and served the fried eggs onto a plate.
“Breakfast is almost ready; go wake the others up.”
On the deck, Dezaya was already doing her morning exercises, though there were faint dark circles under her eyes.
“You didn’t sleep well?”
Kaguya walked to Dezaya’s side.
Dezaya gave him a fierce glare and continued lifting the barbell.
“You guys were making so much noise, who could sleep well!”
Kaguya rubbed his nose awkwardly again.
“Rest for a bit first; we’re about to eat.”
Afterward, Kaguya went back into the cabin to call the others.
Kaya had gotten up early; she was currently in the medical room flipping through medical books and researching potion formulas.
Tashigi and Nami were in the greenhouse garden at the stern, watering the orange trees and pruning the branches.
During breakfast, Makino still hadn’t appeared.
Honey Queen bit her fork, her eyes circling Kaguya with an ambiguous gaze.
After breakfast, the Riding the Wind for Ten Thousand Miles headed towards Whiskey Peak once again.
It wasn’t until noon that Makino finally walked out of the cabin.
Honey Queen gave Makino an ambiguous wink, but Makino ignored it and walked to the training area to start today’s exercise.
“Do you want to rest a bit longer?”
Kaguya said to Makino with concern.
Makino’s cheeks flushed slightly as she shook her head gently.
“No need, I feel… very good.”
She moved her shoulders and began a soothing stretch.
The afternoon hours passed slowly in cultivation.
At dusk, the setting sun dyed the sea surface a golden-red.
Moomoo, swimming alongside the ship, let out a high-pitched cry.
Everyone who was eating dinner in the dining room thought Moomoo had discovered an enemy and quickly ran out upon hearing the sound.
After arriving on the deck, everyone looked around but found no trace of an enemy.
Nami, who had gone to the bow, noticed something unusual and immediately called out to everyone.
“Island silhouette discovered ahead! Based on the voyage calculations, it should be Whiskey Peak!”
Everyone gathered at the bow one after another.
On the distant horizon, a continuous mountain shadow did indeed emerge, looking like a crouching giant beast in the twilight.
Kaguya clapped his hands.
“Alright, everyone get some rest early today.
There might be a bunch of things to deal with after we go ashore tomorrow.
The first island of the Grand Line… who knows what we’ll encounter.”
Kaguya didn’t plan to land on Whiskey Peak tonight; after all, it was a paradise for Bounty Hunters.
It was already late; there was no need for them to sleep in enemy territory in the middle of the night.
It was better to land on Whiskey Peak tomorrow morning; any situation would be easier to resolve during the day.
The night grew deep, and the Riding the Wind for Ten Thousand Miles floated quietly on the sea, only an hour’s voyage away from Whiskey Peak.
Warm lights lit up in the cabin one after another, then went out one by one.
