On the third day after leaving Whiskey Peak, the Riding the Wind for Ten Thousand Miles sailed across the vast blue sea.

After three days together, Vivi had become well-acquainted with the women on the ship.

She discovered that this group of women, who looked like mere eye candy, all possessed terrifying strength.

Only the ship doctor Kaya and the cook Makino seemed like normal people.

Vivi sat on a lounge chair, watching the group training on the deck with a complex expression.

Even though they each looked delicate and slender, they could lift such heavy barbells.

“Karoo, it seems we’ve boarded an incredible ship…”

Vivi spoke softly to the Karoo beside her.

“Quack~”

Karoo nodded in agreement.

Just as Vivi’s thoughts were wandering, the sea breeze became abnormal.

Nami, who was training, sensed the change in temperature and immediately put down the barbell in her hands.

“Something’s wrong! The weather is changing!”

Just as Nami finished speaking, the originally clear sky suddenly turned gloomy.

Dark clouds gathered at a speed visible to the naked eye, covering the entire sky in an instant.

The sea breeze became violent, whipping up waves several meters high that slapped against the hull; the Riding the Wind for Ten Thousand Miles began to shake violently.

“Everyone, hold on tight!”

Nami shouted and quickly activated her Barrier-Barrier Fruit ability.

A translucent screen of light enveloped the entire ship, blocking the invasion of the wind and rain.

However, something even stranger happened.

The sharp sound of air being pierced suddenly came from the sky as countless fist-sized hailstones fell from above, creating a dense clatter as they hit the Barrier.

The hailstones grew larger and larger, soon becoming the size of watermelons, booming as they crashed against the transparent Barrier.

“Moomoo! Speed up, get us out of here!”

Kaguya shouted to the sea beast.

Moomoo let out a low roar and swam forward with all its might.

But at that moment, a huge whirlpool suddenly appeared on the sea surface, and the fully exerting Moomoo plunged headfirst into it.

“Oh no!”

Nami’s face was pale as she focused all her strength on maintaining the Barrier.

Kaguya quickly grabbed a cable, trying to pull Moomoo out of the whirlpool.

But the power of the whirlpool was too great; no matter how strong Kaguya was, she could not contend with nature.

The Riding the Wind for Ten Thousand Miles and Moomoo were sucked into the whirlpool together; everyone felt the world spinning and soon lost consciousness.

When Vivi opened her eyes again, she found herself lying on a soft sandy beach.

She struggled to sit up and found the Riding the Wind for Ten Thousand Miles anchored nearby, completely intact.

“Where… is this?”

Vivi looked up and was instantly stunned.

Above her head was the deep seawater, yet it weirdly suspended in the air, as if held up by an invisible force.

Sunlight filtered through the seawater, casting a swaying blue halo all around.

“Puh! Ptooey! Ptooey!”

The sound of Dezaya spitting out sand came from nearby as she scrambled awkwardly out of the shallows.

“Where is this hellish place? Why is the seawater in the sky?”

She stared up at the suspended ocean, so shocked she forgot to finish spitting the sand out of her mouth.

“Kaguya! Sister! Tashigi…”

Nami stood up while rubbing her temples and began counting the people.

“Phew, I’m over here.”

Kaguya walked out from a cluster of bushes.

“Is everyone okay?”

At that moment, Honey Queen supported Kaya and Makino as they walked to the ship’s railing and waved to the people below.

“Is everyone alright! We’re not injured!”

“Have you seen the others!”

Kaguya asked loudly while alertly scanning the surroundings.

“Haven’t seen them! Only the three of us are on the ship!”

“I’m here!”

Nojiko and Tashigi walked out from behind a coconut grove, supporting each other; their clothes were covered in sand, but they seemed largely unharmed.

Vivi breathed a sigh of relief but then noticed Karoo was nowhere to be found.

“Karoo?”

She looked around anxiously and suddenly heard a familiar ‘quack’ coming from behind a nearby reef.

Vivi quickly ran over and saw Karoo flapping its wings against something.

Coming closer, Vivi saw Karoo was hitting an ancient stone tablet half-buried in the sand.

The surface of the tablet was covered in moss and barnacles, but strange runes were vaguely visible on it.

“Everyone, come quickly!”

Hearing Vivi’s call, everyone gathered around.

“What’s carved on this? I can’t understand it at all.”

Nami said with a confused look while staring at the strange runes on the tablet.

The others also shook their heads, and finally, their gazes all turned toward Kaguya.

“Why are you looking at me? How could I possibly recognize these ghost scribbles…”

Kaguya spread her hands speechlessly.

“So there are things Master doesn’t know after all~”

Honey Queen blinked playfully.

“I’m not the Tree of Knowledge, how could I know everything.”

“Tree of Knowledge what? A kind of tree?”

“That’s not important. Let’s head into the island and look around; maybe we can find a way to leave this place.”

Kaguya looked at the eerie, dense forest ahead, vaguely sensing something calling out to her.

“Is everyone going? Should we leave a few people to guard the ship?”

“Kaya and Sister Makino don’t look very well.”

“Let’s stay and guard the ship.”

Nami said with concern, looking at the pale-faced Kaya and Makino.

“That works. Nami, Kaya, Makino, and Vivi will stay.”

“The rest of you, follow me into the island.”

Just as Kaguya finished making the arrangements, a high-pitched cry came from behind them.

“Moo!——”

Everyone turned back to find Moomoo rushing toward the shore with a terrified expression.

Behind it followed a giant squid three times its size.

The squid’s tentacles were lined with sharp barbs, and it was frantically chasing Moomoo.

“How could I forget about Moomoo!”

With onikiri unsheathed, Kaguya charged forward using Moonwalk.

Nojiko transformed into her Pteranodon form and followed suit.

At the same time, the seawater behind Moomoo began to boil violently as several more massive sea monsters appeared.

“Kaya, protect yourselves!”

Nami, Tashigi, Honey Queen, and Dezaya also quickly charged out.

The onikiri in Kaguya’s hand drew a sharp slash, severing a section of the squid’s tentacle chasing Moomoo; the squid let out a piercing hiss and sprayed a thick, ink-like black mist to obscure their vision.

Nojiko spread her wings and flew high, her wings in Pteranodon form whipping up a hurricane to blow the black mist away while she dove down, her sharp claws aiming straight for the squid’s single eye.

“Watch out underwater!”

Tashigi keenly sensed movement beneath the sea as several huge tentacles covered in suckers burst out of the water, attacking the group.

Nami released a Barrier to block the incoming tentacles, while Tashigi and Dezaya swung their blades to sever them.

Honey Queen transformed into Paste and began a struggle with a giant lobster-type sea monster.

These sea monsters could not use Armament Haki and posed no threat to Honey Queen in her Paste form.

“Leave this squid to me; you guys handle the other sea monsters.”

Covering onikiri with thick Armament Haki, Kaguya slashed at the squid’s head.

The squid writhed its massive body in pain, whipping up a colossal wave.
