Lord Ash smiled as he said, "They were bound to return eventually."

He added, "And I guess it’s time we show them who’s boss. This time, we won’t let them get their way..."

Ayra stared at Lord Ash with a smile as he continued, "It’s the price we pay for getting such an amazing female as our mate."

He smiled at her before adding, "You’re already too good for us. And because of you, we’ve been able to get through a lot, especially with the Silvermoon Tribe. So, you’re already a blessing to us."

"Yes," Commander Lynn agreed. "So, to protect our blessing, we’ll have to confront them again eventually. Don’t feel bad about it at all..."

Ayra smiled at their words, feeling touched and deeply moved by their reassurance. She slowly nodded, her smile growing warmer.

"Thanks... And..." She sighed before continuing, "I’ll make sure I’m always here to help and support you all through it."

She looked at them sincerely. "Together."

They all nodded, exchanging glances with one another.

Something was coming. They knew it. Even though they had no idea when it would happen, they could feel that it was only a matter of time before their enemies returned.

And when that time came, they would have to be ready.

On a bright morning, Ayra sat outside enjoying some fresh air after breakfast.

She settled on a rock near where her wolf cubs were sitting with the others. The two little ones were on the ground, happily playing with the shiny stones the triplet snakes had picked out for them.

The triplet snakes sat close to the twin wolf cubs, watching them excitedly as they played with their new treasures. Ally sat nearby, keeping an eye on them, while Zay remained close to his mother, quietly watching the scene unfold.

Even some of the wolf warrior beastmen had gathered around. They were supposed to be out on surveillance around the area, but they had completely forgotten about their duties. They were far too engrossed in watching the little wolf cubs play.

Ayra enjoyed the fresh air while watching the scene with a smile. She couldn’t help noticing how easily the warriors had been distracted by the adorable little ones.

"Oh, so that’s what little wolf cubs are like..."

"Yes, yes! Was I also like that when I was small?"

"I can’t even remember. Was I ever young?"

"You certainly were!"

They continued watching as the triplet snakes eagerly searched for more stones for the twins.

Minnie was happily picking up one stone after another, tossing some aside while carefully selecting the prettiest ones. When she eventually grew bored with the stones she had collected, she turned to watch Kellie playing with his.

The little black wolf cub had a particular stone he seemed interested in, and Minnie appeared intrigued by how he was playing with it. Curious, she slowly leaned closer to get a better look.

"Oh, does little sister want another pretty stone?" Neris asked.

"We’ve already gotten about twenty stones for her," Nat sighed. "Maybe we should catch some butterflies for her instead."

Nyeon nodded firmly. "Yes, yes! I agree. Let’s go catch some butterflies!"

With that, the three of them rushed off into the nearby woods.

Ally and Ayra shook their heads at the same time, amused by their enthusiasm. Ayra smiled as she watched the twins growing into such energetic little ones.

"They grow so fast..." she remarked, glancing down at Zay, who was sitting beside her and quietly watching the cubs as well.

Just then, Minnie stretched out her little paw to touch Kellie’s stone.

However, Kellie immediately turned away, keeping his precious stone out of her reach. He clearly had no intention of sharing it with his sister.

Minnie blinked, momentarily speechless, before crawling closer to try to take it again. But Kellie turned away once more, stubbornly protecting his treasure.

And so, the two continued their little battle. Minnie kept trying to get close enough to snatch Kellie’s stone because she had grown bored with her own, while Kellie repeatedly turned away to protect what belonged to him.

Ally sighed with a smile. "There she goes again, trying to take the poor boy’s things."

Ayra chuckled as she watched them. "At least Kellie is fighting for his dear life!"

The two cubs continued their little game until Minnie finally gave up. She pouted and turned away, folding her little arms as though she had been terribly wronged. Then, she began examining the stones she had collected.

However, her boredom didn’t last long.

Minnie soon turned back towards Kellie, but this time, instead of reaching for his stone, she began running her little paws through his ears and fur. She gently felt around his body, seemingly curious about his appearance.

Ally stared at her in confusion. "What’s she doing now?"

Ayra smiled as Zay answered, "Little Minnie is probably curious about his body since she hasn’t taken her beast form yet."

Ayra nodded thoughtfully. "Probably... I wonder when she’s going to take her beast form."

But before she could finish her sentence, it happened.

The curious little girl, who had been busy poking and exploring Kellie’s body, suddenly began transforming. Within moments, she was sitting on the ground in her beast form—a beautiful silver wolf with soft, fluffy fur.

As the transformation ended, Minnie’s ears perked up. She looked around curiously, seemingly impressed by the change. Then, she began examining herself, moving around as she tried to get a good look at every part of her new body.

Her movements were filled with curiosity, as though she couldn’t quite believe what had just happened.

Beside her, her twin brother, the little black wolf cub, slowly turned towards the scene.

Kellie had noticed that Minnie had transformed, and he stared at her in surprise before looking down at himself. He then turned his attention back to his sister, clearly curious about what he had just witnessed.

He began examining his own body, poking at his fur and feeling his skin. Then, he reached out to touch Minnie’s fur as well, seemingly trying to understand the difference between them.

However, Minnie had already begun moving away from him, playfully getting her revenge for his earlier refusal to share his stone. She scampered around while Kellie tried to get closer, turning their curiosity into another little game.

Ayra and the others watched the scene with amusement.

"Well, she figured that out pretty fast!" Ally exclaimed, blinking in surprise. She then tilted her head. "Is she really an A-rank?"

After the twins were born, they had discovered that both little ones were A-rank cubs.

Ayra smiled. "I think she should be able to figure it out pretty quickly with such a high rank."

The warrior beastmen gasped as they watched the little girl transform so effortlessly. They were genuinely impressed by how quickly she had discovered and activated her beast form.

"Did we also do that when we were little?" one of them asked in amusement.
