Chapter 283: 283: Babysitting The Twins.

The Warriors kept admiring the little ones until someone reminded them of the business they had to attend to that day. They quickly set off to get things done, leaving Ayra and Ally behind to watch the little ones play.

They both smiled as Ally approached the twins. "That’s enough chasing for today."

Kellie stopped and turned around. His eyes met Ayra’s as he slowly made his way towards her. Once he arrived, he climbed into her arms, allowing Ayra to carry him.

"Mama..." he murmured in a low tone, cuddling into her arms for comfort as Ayra stared at him in amusement.

"Wow, did I hear that right?" Ally approached, leaning closer. "Did he really speak?"

Ayra smiled and nodded. "Well, I heard that too..." She laughed. "I guess the little one learned something on his own."

Immediately, Minnie, who was still in her beast form, turned towards them. The silver wolf made her way to Ayra and clung to her arms as well.

Ayra smiled as she carried both of them. Staring at Minnie, she asked, "What’s it now?"

Minnie mumbled a few inaudible words before saying, "Mama... milk..." She played with her hands around Ayra’s chest, making her intentions rather obvious.

Ally smiled excitedly. "Wow! The two of them are already learning to use words! That’s impressive!"

Ayra smiled at them. "You two are hungry already...?"

"Mama..."

"Mama..."

"Mama..."

The two little wolf cubs babbled the same word repeatedly while moving their hands around Ayra’s chest. It was clear they wanted some milk.

Ayra shook her head with a smile. "Okay, okay. I’ll give you two some milk when we go back inside."

Ally looked around before sighing. "Too bad Papa isn’t here. They’d be so happy to see this too..."

Ayra smiled as she held the two little ones. "They’re busy with work. I guess they’ll have to hear the little ones speak later."

Just then, the triplet snakes rushed back to the scene. Neris was holding a container filled with butterflies they had managed to catch in the short time they’d been away.

"Here, here!" Neris announced as they approached. "Give it to Kellie and Minnie to play with!"

Ayra smiled at them. "They’re hungry already. Maybe later, okay?"

The triplet snakes pouted, but Zay soon turned to them with excitement. "The two finally spoke... They said Mama!"

Immediately, their expressions brightened again. The triplet snakes stared at the twins with renewed curiosity.

"Really?" Nat asked. "Can we hear them speak again?"

Neris approached the twins eagerly. "Say something!"

However, the two wolf cubs simply stared at them in silence, refusing to utter another word. They looked at the triplets as though the little snakes had something strange on their faces.

Neris pouted. "I didn’t get to hear them speak..."

Ally smiled and patted his hair. "Don’t worry. The little ones aren’t running away. You’ll get to hear them talk all you want, okay?"

The triplet snakes slowly nodded.

Ayra smiled as she said, "Now, let’s go back and get something to eat. It’s already afternoon..." She turned and began walking away.

Her cubs happily followed behind, while the triplet snakes raced after her. Ally and Zay followed at a more leisurely pace.

"Careful not to fall," Ally warned, folding her arms as she shook her head at their antics.

---

The little ones didn’t speak again. As though they were selective about when to speak, they refused to utter another word whenever everyone gathered around them.

Ayra’s mates, especially Commander Lynn, were overjoyed when they returned and heard that the twins had spoken.

As a result, they spent their time around Ayra and the little ones, eagerly waiting to hear what the twins would say. Unfortunately, the little ones remained stubbornly silent.

Instead, Minnie ended up climbing all over Commander Lynn’s head and playing with him throughout the day. She made the most of every minute she got, never uttering a single word.

Several days passed, yet the twins still hadn’t spoken in Commander Lynn’s presence. The repeated disappointment eventually left him exhausted.

Ayra smiled as she comforted him. "Don’t worry. You’ll get to hear the little ones speak, okay?"

And so, Commander Lynn and the others continued waiting for their chance to hear the twins talk.

---

One beautiful day, the other mates had gone out to work, leaving Commander Lynn as the only one around.

Ayra had gone out with Ally to pick some important vegetables by the waterside, so Commander Lynn volunteered to stay behind and play with the twins.

Besides, he didn’t have anything particularly important to do that day.

He settled down near the apple tree, with the twins sitting in front of him as he kept an eye on them. Before long, he had become the subject of their little experiments.

Commander Lynn watched as the two played with the flowers he’d helped pick for them, hoping to keep them occupied.

Kellie carefully gathered the flowers, gently intertwining their stems to create a circle or something resembling one.

Commander Lynn stared at his handiwork with a smile. "What are you making? That’s so beautiful..."

Kellie, who was in his beast form, said nothing. He simply continued working on his creation.

When he was finally done, he walked over to Commander Lynn and placed his creation against his chest. Commander Lynn lifted him onto his head, allowing Kellie to happily place the flower arrangement on top before nodding in satisfaction.

With his work completed, Kellie hopped away to continue his next project.

Minnie turned to stare at Kellie’s creation. She was in her human form and had noticed that her brother had finished another one, so she hurried to continue her own work.

Compared to Kellie’s, her creation was a complete mess. The flowers were disorganized and uneven, but she didn’t seem to care. She simply continued making more.

When she was finally done, she slowly pushed herself to her feet and struggled to walk.

It was her first time walking, so Commander Lynn was rather shocked when he saw her standing.

"You... Minnie, you..." He stared at her in disbelief.

Nevertheless, Minnie continued struggling towards him until she finally reached him and tumbled into his arms.

Commander Lynn happily caught her with a smile. "Good girl..." he praised, gently patting her hair.

But Minnie wasn’t interested in his praise. She was far more interested in placing her creation on their model’s head!

Before long, Commander Lynn found himself covered in the various flower creations the twins had made.
