Orgasm Treatment
Chapter 318 - 316: There Is a Problem with the Birth Chart
"At first, it was just a fever. Antipyretics could keep it down," the woman explained. "But then the fevers became more frequent. Whenever she burned up, she’d start talking nonsense, and the medicine stopped working."
"What kind of nonsense did she usually say?" Yang Xun asked.
The woman hesitated, as if recalling details that made her skin crawl. "She said... there were a lot of people on her bed. Adults and children. They were all staring at her.
"She also said they were so cold, in so much pain, and they were begging her for help...
"We’ve taken her to psychiatrists and had brain scans done. Every doctor says she’s perfectly fine, but the delirious rambling hasn’t stopped."
Yang Xun turned to look at Zhao Linglong, who was standing by the door. Her face was even paler than when she had first walked in. She slightly clenched her fists, her gaze fixed on the tiny figure on the bed. Her lips parted as if she wanted to say something, but she swallowed the words back down.
Yang Xun walked over to her and asked in a voice only the two of them could hear, "What do you see?"
Zhao Linglong looked up at him, her amber eyes carrying an earnest certainty. "Tangtang isn’t the only one on that bed."
Yang Xun narrowed his eyes slightly. "How... how many are there?"
"Four." Zhao Linglong’s voice was very soft, yet unusually clear. "Two adults, two children. They’re all gathered around the edge of the bed, staring right at Tangtang. One of them is sitting directly on her head."
Yang Xun followed her gaze to the side of the bed. He couldn’t see these entities, but he could feel that the chilling aura in the air was undeniably thicker than before, slowly converging toward the center of the mattress.
"Mr. Tang." Yang Xun looked up, his tone taking on a serious edge. "Your granddaughter’s illness isn’t an ordinary physical ailment. She’s been tainted by something unclean."
Tang Qingquan froze. "Something unclean? Are you saying..."
Yang Xun didn’t mince words. "Young children are naturally prone to attracting such entities. Once targeted, it’s incredibly difficult to shake them off.
"Every time she gets a fever, it’s actually the Yin energy churning inside her body, clashing with her own Yang Qi."
What Yang Xun didn’t say was that there was more than one Yin Soul attached to the child. If they continued to cling to her, they would eventually drain all her Yang Qi. Once that happened, even gods descending from the heavens wouldn’t be able to save her.
Tang Qingquan’s expression shifted slightly, but as someone who had navigated elite circles for years, he quickly regained his composure. "Then... is there a way to cure it?"
"There is, but I need to determine the source of this Yin energy first." Yang Xun’s gaze fell on Tangtang’s pale little face. "Simply dispersing it is just a band-aid solution. If we don’t eradicate the root cause, they’ll latch onto her again after a while.
"The fact that her condition has persisted for half a year proves she didn’t just stumble upon these entities by chance. They were attracted by something specific."
Tang Qingquan turned to his daughter-in-law. "Ya, did Tangtang go anywhere unusual before she got sick?"
Fu Yaning frowned as she thought back for a moment, then shook her head. "No. She hadn’t traveled far during that time, just back and forth between home and kindergarten."
Yang Xun fell silent for a few seconds before suddenly asking, "Tell me her exact time of birth."
Fu Yaning was momentarily taken aback but provided the date.
When Yang Xun heard the date, his eyes narrowed slightly.
The Mid-Autumn Festival, the fifteenth day of the seventh lunar month.
People born on this day possessed naturally heavy Yin energy. Their constitution made them far more sensitive to such entities than ordinary people, and as a result, they were much more likely to become targets.
"Mr. Tang, I might need to stay over at your home tonight." Yang Xun stood up, his tone steady. "I’ll keep watch over your granddaughter tonight to figure out exactly where these things came from, so I can address the root cause."
Tang Qingquan didn’t hesitate. "Alright. I’ll have someone prepare a room right away."
Hearing this, Fu Yaning also stood up, her voice brimming with gratitude. "Dr. Yang, thank you so much. Tangtang has suffered so much lately. If you can cure her, our entire family will be eternally grateful."
"Hold your thanks for now. We can only figure out the exact treatment after tonight." As Yang Xun spoke, he turned to Zhao Linglong. "You should stay too. I need your help."
Zhao Linglong nodded. Even though she could see those entities, every encounter still made her scalp tingle with fear. Having Yang Xun by her side gave her the courage she needed.
The butler quickly prepared two adjacent guest rooms, and Yang Xun and Zhao Linglong settled in.
As the night deepened, the Tang Family villa was shrouded in a quiet twilight.
Yang Xun sat cross-legged in his room for a while. After circulating his True Qi for a full cycle, he stood up. He pushed open his door and walked lightly to Tangtang’s room.
Zhao Linglong was already waiting there. She had changed into a plain, long-sleeved nightgown, with her hair tied loosely behind her head. She looked somewhat softer than she had during the day, yet her amber eyes carried a bright, intense vigilance.
"Let’s go in," Yang Xun said, gently pushing the door open.
Only a small nightlight was on in the room. The dim, yellowish glow draped the entire space in a hazy shroud.
Tangtang lay on the bed, her breathing a bit more rapid than it had been during the day. Her tiny body was curled up under the covers, her brows tightly furrowed, unable to find peace even in her dreams. Her lips parted slightly, emitting muffled, indistinct syllables punctuated by the occasional short sob.
Zhao Linglong stood at the doorway, her body tensing up. Her gaze landed on the empty space beside the bed, as if she were looking at things Yang Xun couldn’t see. Her face drained of color, bit by bit.
"Are they still here?" Yang Xun asked in a hushed voice.
Zhao Linglong nodded gently, a faint tremor in her voice. "They’re still here, and they’re closer than they were during the day. They seem to know we were coming... they’re a bit agitated."
Yang Xun stepped up to the bed and gently placed his fingers on Tangtang’s wrist.
The moment his True Qi probed her body, his expression hardened slightly.
Now that it was night, the chilling Yin energy was far denser than it had been that afternoon. It surged through Tangtang’s meridians like a tidal wave, trying to seep even deeper into her body.
He activated the Yin Yang Dragon and Phoenix Technique, channeling a stream of warm True Qi into Tangtang. The True Qi acted as a barrier, temporarily blocking the surging Yin energy. Tangtang’s breathing noticeably steadied, and her furrowed brows relaxed just a little.
However, Yang Xun could sense that the Yin energy hadn’t truly retreated. It was only temporarily held at bay, lurking on the periphery of her meridians like a prowling predator.
"AHHH!"
Suddenly, Tangtang’s eyes snapped open as she let out a piercing, heart-wrenching scream.
Her eyes were wide open but unfocused, her pupils dilated as if she were witnessing something utterly terrifying. Her body began to tremble violently. She thrashed her arms wildly, crying out in a slurred, frantic wail, "Stay away... It hurts... Help me... It hurts so much!"
