Chapter 2343: Emora’s Love

For special items like Warship Girls that awaken and become spirits, their appearance will usually follow the looks of the being who granted them Spirituality. Generally that’s one of two people: either their creator, or the Master who really cherishes them. Of course, a lot of the time those two can be the same person.

Dorothy used to be both creator and item owner. Her Dream Fleet in “World of Warships” was all personally built by her, and she herself served as the fleet’s Admiral. So most of her Warship Girls wives all more or less looked a bit like her.

That said, once beauty reaches a certain level there’s bound to be shared traits, and with her Eye of God, anyone who resembles her by even one or two parts out of ten is already a peerless mortal beauty. Most of her Warship Girls wives only manage three or four parts of resemblance. Except for one ship that’s rather special.

That was her former fleet flagship, also the first Legendary Battleship she ever built—a King-level Omnipotent Command Ship: Bahamut.

That used to be Dorothy’s most pride-worthy masterpiece so far. Whether in looks or performance, this flagship wife was the top of the top.

Her looks were sixty percent similar to Dorothy’s Face of God, but she was more imposing and domineering than this homebody witch, a kind of brilliantly aggressive beauty, the kind that screams emperor material at a glance.

As for performance, the moment Bahamut debuted, it was announced server-wide in “World of Warships,” then she instantly dropped in from the sky onto the top of the entire game’s Legendary Battleship ranking, and stayed there hogging first place all the way until Dorothy quit the game. Dorothy still doesn’t know if anyone’s managed to surpass her now.

In short, Bahamut had both the beauty value and the strength value—she was the most perfect wife this shut-in could imagine.

Well, that’s how it was supposed to be, but who told that one fish-bombing operation that should’ve been a stomp to end up getting played into someone else’s tutorial match? With her Dao heart shattered, the homebody witch just felt shipbuilding was nothing much after all, totally boring, and then she bailed and changed careers to go grind “Magic Web Duel.”

That’s perfectly normal; you play games for fun. If one game stops being fun, just switch to another; there’s nothing to feel guilty about.

But right now, when that face that originally only existed in her memories suddenly appeared in reality, Dorothy was completely dumbstruck. It was like someone had lobbed a flashbang at her—her brain was just buzzing.

How could a game character show up in reality? That’s not scientific, but…

Damn, thinking about it carefully, this actually does feel pretty Magic.

But even Magic has to respect basic laws, and talk about equivalent exchange. You can’t just say “become real” and it happens. The most likely way for illusion to turn into reality is actually via the Spirit World.

As long as enough people believe in a fake thing, a Spiritual Body can form for it in the Spirit World. Once that Spiritual Body grows strong enough, it can use Spirit World intrusion to enter reality, fully turning from virtual to real.

Uh… the Spirit World…

Dorothy suddenly remembered senior Fanny’s earlier warning: the boundary between this Mechanical Wilderness and the Spirit World is extremely thin, and Spiritual Realm Creatures can invade reality very easily…

Uh, this…

The homebody witch instantly broke out in a cold sweat.

Don’t tell her it’s actually just this coincidental?

She really wanted to fool herself like that, but looks can maybe just happen to collide—temperament though…

Dorothy took another glance at that tall, handsome, imposing Big Sister who looked just like her Warship Girl wife. That queenly aura that couldn’t be concealed—there’s no way that’s fake.

“Artie, this has got to be that guy messing around again. Are you setting up a Hongmen banquet for those Alien Races, or are you setting one up for me?”

The homebody witch could only gnash her teeth like this in her heart.

You really can’t blame her for throwing the pot at Artie the moment something happens, like Lord Demon King is the source of all evil…

Uh, fine, as the Lord of the Abyss, calling her the source of all evil is actually not wrong at all.

But she’s the one who made the Magic Network, and the Magic Network games are obviously under her jurisdiction. Now that a Magic Network game has suddenly become real and stepped into reality, saying this has nothing to do with Artie—only an idiot would believe that.

Anyway, this has to be Artie’s doing. For now, this grudge goes on the ledger; next time on stage she’ll settle it together.

While Dorothy was silently keeping score in her heart, her steps lightly tapped forward, moving a few paces like a dance.

Heavenly Demon Dance—well, right now it’s White Night Dragon Dance starting up.

The homebody witch slightly released a bit of the Authority of her Face of God. After all, her Face of God possesses the All Living Beings ability, letting her easily present a completely different face in others’ eyes without actually changing her features.

Plus, her current body is The Faceless Chaos by nature, and her Magic Power aura isn’t the same as before either.

With both her apparent looks and Magic Power aura altered, the most perfect disguise was thus achieved. Even if Mother Dragon herself came over, she still might not recognize this daughter.

Yeah, let’s stay disguised for now. Calmly observe this beautiful Big Sister who seems to be Bahamut for a while, and don’t rush to acknowledge each other.

Mainly, Dorothy also doesn’t quite dare to recognize her. After all, she’s been AFK from that game for ages. If it were just a game it’d be fine; game characters are just data without consciousness or feelings. But once a game character becomes a real person…

The homebody witch suddenly felt a guilty weight like she was some scumbag woman who’d silently abandoned her wife and run away from home for many years.

Damn, please let it just be Bahamut alone showing up in reality. If the entire Dream Fleet all came to life, that scene would be way too beautiful; Dorothy doesn’t even dare imagine it. Other scumbag women at most get cleaved by their partner’s hatchet—she’d probably be getting hunted down by an entire blackened Dream Fleet.
