Pampered by My Secret Husband
Chapter 1328 - 1330: No... I Can’t Drink Anymore
After a while, the man returned to his seat.
Thomas Shannon, with an indifferent look on his face, had his elegantly arched chin grabbed by Sophie Sullivan, who twisted his head around.
Forced to look at her, Thomas Shannon frowned, his cold eyes flashing a hint of displeasure.
Sophie Sullivan smiled, "I said I didn’t agree, so why are you leaving?"
"You didn’t say you agreed either."
"Won’t you even give me a moment to consider?" Sophie rolled her eyes at him, "Bring the wine, isn’t it just drinking? I’ll drink."
Isn’t it just drinking, what’s the big deal?
Sophie Sullivan would be afraid of him?
"This is what you said, I didn’t force you." Thomas Shannon hooked the corner of his mouth, smiling meaningfully.
Sophie withdrew her hand and waved it impatiently, "Alright, bring the wine."
Thomas turned his head and ordered in a deep voice, "Charlie River, go to the wine cellar and bring out those few bottles I’ve been cherishing."
"Yes, Young Master." Charlie understood the deeper meaning in Thomas Shannon’s words.
Those cherished bottles of his have quite high alcohol content.
Miss Sullivan’s alcohol tolerance is low, using these bottles against her...
Charlie silently mourned for Sophie Sullivan for three seconds.
In the bedroom, on the balcony.
The servant had meticulously arranged the dining table, placing candlesticks and sprinkling a few petals to enhance the atmosphere.
Thomas Shannon sat down on the chair, then looked at Sophie Sullivan, who was standing with her arms folded across her chest, wearing a half-smile, "Come and sit down, what are you standing there for?"
"Thomas Shannon, what exactly is your plan?"
With wine, candlelight, and petals, it makes one ponder what he is really up to.
"Aren’t we going to chat? For chatting, you need an atmosphere, sit down, how are you going to chat standing up?" Thomas picked up the wine decanter and poured two glasses of wine.
The rich fragrance of the wine permeated the air, intoxicating those present.
Sophie Sullivan went to the seat opposite him, picked up the goblet, gently swirled it, and took a small sip.
Chatting?
She didn’t believe that Thomas Shannon merely wanted to chat with her.
This old fox surely has some other tricks up his sleeve.
Even though she had already become wary inside, after a few glasses of wine went down, Sophie’s head started feeling fuzzy.
The man, without her knowing, had moved to her side, wrapping an arm around her waist and pulling her limp, watery body into his embrace.
"Come on, have another glass." The man’s magnetic voice continued to coax.
Sophie lifted her head, her alabaster face already stained with a tipsy blush, "No... can’t drink anymore."
"Why not?"
"If... if I drink more, I’ll get drunk." Sophie waved her hand, muttering softly, "Can’t drink... won’t drink."
Thomas chuckled softly, tilted his head back to drink a mouthful, then put down the goblet, seized her chin, and pressed his thin lips precisely to her red lips, prying open her lips and teeth to transfer the red wine in his mouth to hers.
"Mmm..." Sophie’s head swayed, not cooperating at all.
Thomas locked one hand tightly around her waist and the other behind her head, allowing no chance for her to escape.
After finishing feeding her the mouthful of wine, Sophie almost choked. She lifted her eyelids, her long, thick lashes fluttering, and her beautiful eyes, shimmering with tears, unexpectedly looked into his gaze.
With a hint of grievance and a touch of resistance, she pouted her red lips, and her rosy fists lightly hit him, "You... bad..."
This coquettish accusatory look made Thomas Shannon’s heart go numb.
He felt the intense tingling in his heart, and the next second, he clasped the back of her head, pressing her toward him for a deeper kiss.
