Pampered by My Secret Husband
Chapter 1329 - 1331: A Gentle Puff Makes It Hurt Less, Be Good
She knows her alcohol tolerance isn’t good, but she never thought she’d be this adorable after drinking...
Adorable enough to make him want to tease her a lot.
He coaxed and tricked Sophie Sullivan into drinking two more glasses, but ultimately didn’t dare let her get completely drunk.
After all, he has something important to do tonight, and if Sophie gets drunk, it’ll ruin things.
"Fennie, Fennie, are you okay?" Thomas Shannon gently patted Sophie’s cheek, and Sophie burrowed into his embrace like a little kitty.
She rubbed her cheek against his shirt, her red lips pouting playfully, "Feeling dizzy..."
Thomas Shannon couldn’t help but chuckle. Even drunk, she knows she’s dizzy. If she wasn’t dizzy after drinking so much, it wouldn’t be worth all the wine he prepared.
"Fennie, shall we play a game?"
Sophie was already drunk, and a charming blush appeared on Yvonne’s face, "Wha...what game?"
"A role-playing game, okay?"
Sophie shook her head and mumbled, "No, not okay... need to sleep, Fennie needs to sleep."
"Fennie, we can’t sleep yet. We can sleep after playing the game, understand?"
"No, Fennie wants to sleep, right now." Sophie’s little temper flared up, and she began to struggle in Thomas Shannon’s embrace, bumping her head against his chest repeatedly.
She didn’t hurt him, but she ended up hurting her own head.
She let out a long ’ahh’, quickly covering her forehead with her hand, crying out pitiably, "Mommy, mommy, Cecilia hurts... hurts so much."
Thomas Shannon lowered his head nervously, lifting her chin with one hand to carefully examine her forehead, which was now red in a spot. She looked so pitiful, her beautiful eyes moist, though no tears fell.
Thomas Shannon sighed softly; to see his Fennie cry, he’d probably have to wait until the next life.
"Blow on it, and it won’t hurt anymore, be good." Thomas Shannon bowed his head and blew on her forehead for a while.
Sophie grunted and protested softly, "Still hurts."
"Then I’ll blow on it some more."
After blowing on it well, Sophie happily snuggled back into Thomas Shannon’s embrace, her slender arms tightly wrapped around his waist, muttering, "Mommy, Cecilia needs to sleep... needs to sleep."
"..." Thomas Shannon was speechless.
Mommy?
Calling him mommy?
What a little rascal, even drunk she isn’t giving him a break!
Inside Thomas Shannon’s heart, he felt a bit anxious. He looked up at the sparsely starry night sky, thinking to himself: Mother-in-law, I’m just playing a game with Fennie, please don’t be angry.
"Mommy, mommy, you don’t love Cecilia anymore? Cecilia needs to sleep..."
The little drunkard in his embrace began to fuss again, and Thomas Shannon quickly comforted this little ancestor, "Fennie, be good, we’ll sleep right after the game, alright?"
"No, no..."
"Fennie, if you don’t behave, you can’t sleep tonight. Will you listen?"
"..."
"Fennie, will you play the game?"
"..."
"Just for a little while, very soon."
Finally, the little ancestor in his embrace raised her head, her moist beautiful eyes now even more hazy and bewildered.
She had a look of not knowing who she was or where she stood.
Thomas Shannon touched her cheek, lowered his head by her ear, and explained the rules of the game, occasionally pinching her plump earlobe.
Though intoxicated, Sophie’s head kept nodding to show she understood.
