’I didn’t bother to call Joan or her sister to inform them to be arrival since we had already spoken earlier alerting then that I’ll be coming today’

" Hey bro, you listen to Migos?’ Alex asked at the top of his voice.

Migos is a triple squad of three black guys, the venture into hip-hop rap and have been at the top of anything rap music

" Yeah I do, not really a serious fan" I said calmly with my average voice tone.

’ I needed him to reduce the volume of the speaker, the entire car was already vibrating from the boom sounds and drills’

" Say what!!" He shouted

I muttered some gibberish from my lips, making it appear like it moved. My face remained serious. It looked like I was explaining what I had said before.

I also used hands gestures to assist in what I was saying to make it appear more genuine

He pulled his ear closer struggling to hear what I was saying and finally stretched his hands to reduce the volume.

’ it’s not like I didn’t vibe to the song, but I’m not deaf. It didn’t have to be loud or burst my ear drums before I’ll know what he’s singing’

" What were you saying bro" he asked looking at me whilst nodding his head to the best of the song

The volume was now very much better, I felt a drop on my head. It felt as if the headache had disappeared totally from my head

" I love them. And my favourite is offset" I said

" Yeah me too, he’s really too good. Glad he ended up with a rapper as a wife too"

" You mean cardi B?"

" Yeah I didn’t know they’d marry"

" Common bro, it’s been old news "

The sapphire supermarket was now a stone throw from our present location. Alex entered the parking lot, Searching for a free space and parked. We stepped out immediately and turned off the ignition

"Sure thing", we closed the door as we headed into the restaurant.

Sapphire supermarket was like a warehouse, it had a garden in front and a regular gardener who takes sure it is properly trimmed daily

As we approached the door, the two security guards opened the door while a robot voice said " welcome "

A harsh hum of white fluorescent lighting filled the supermarket, a soft, warm spotlight that frames artisanal produce like museum exhibits.

The air carries an intentionally curated aroma more like a subtle blend of fresh white tea, blooming orchids, and warm sourdough.

Well polished dark marble floors stretch across spacious, cathedral-like calm that feels closer to a five-star hotel lobby than a retail food hall

Moving deeper into the store reveals we saw a series of dedicated culinary sanctuaries designed to turn everyday shopping into an immersive tasting tour.

’Now I see why this is the number one supermarket in town, they live up to their expectations’

Besides the walkway we saw a seafood hall, Australian lobsters, and rare deep-sea fish, bathed in crisp blue light.

It also had a climate-controlled wine cellar, staffed by in-house sommeliers, sitting beside glowing hydroponic vegetable bays where shoppers harvest living greens directly by their roots.

The payment office was very smooth, no clunky cash registers or slow queues; checkout is completely frictionless, completed in seconds via facial recognition or a quick swipe of a smartphone.

A few minutes had passed and we hadn’t bought a single thing, I had come here several times but my business always stops at the payment office

I just sat in the office receiving AC while they sent a staff member to get everything that was listed in the receipt I had paid for already

But with Alex, it was a different experience, he always loved to see things for him self, I bet he’s gonna gist this one too with his wife.

’so this is the paradise Joan is working, everywhere looking much prepared and organised ’

" I don’t know what to buy" Alex said

I burst into a short laugh. The easy Alex kept his face made it appear like a funny speaker

" You could start by buying everything in bundles"

" Let’s start with food items before moving to the complex ones"

" I want to get a shoe for Prince, he’s growing really fast and is already getting bigger than most of the clothes he’s putting on"

" I think we should get a staff to guide us, this place is really big, a child could get lost here and it will take days to find the child"

We looked round before my eyes rested on a beautiful damsel standing still and directing the flow of traffic at the supermarket with hee hands gesture.

She looks like a girl that has just turned 18, very young and fresh. She was very smiley. He had a ponytail, with her long legs enough to make one forget what to buy

Her breasts were not too big from the outside, but I know that another bigger size was tightly buried inside

’ this was how it was when I first met Joan, i couldn’t stop daydreaming of the girl I saw in the shop’
