Chapter 2500 - 2508: Waste

Lu Shiqi opened her eyes and saw, huh? Strange, how is there a person planted at the bottom of the sea? Lu Shiqi swam towards Qin Yu and observed carefully.

Soon, a look of ecstasy appeared on Lu Shiqi’s face! It’s Brother Yu! It really is Brother Yu!

Lu Shiqi hurriedly hugged Qin Yu’s waist and forcefully pulled Qin Yu’s head out from the seabed!

As soon as Qin Yu’s head was pulled out, a stream of blood gushed out, and there was a big gash in Qin Yu’s head.

Lu Shiqi quickly covered Qin Yu’s head with her hand and called out loudly, "Brother Yu, wake up, wake up."

Unfortunately, Qin Yu showed no response!

Lu Shiqi’s complexion turned very ugly, Qin Yu’s face was very calm, showing no signs of suffocation, and no bubbles came out of his nose and mouth, which meant that Qin Yu was not breathing on his own.

Fortunately, Qin Yu’s chest was still warm; otherwise, Lu Shiqi would surely have cried out loud.

Without hesitation, Lu Shiqi sealed Qin Yu’s thin lips with her small mouth, trying to give Qin Yu oxygen, but as soon as she covered Qin Yu’s thin lips, his mouth spewed out a large amount of sand and mud.

Feeling a sudden presence of large amounts of sand in her mouth, Lu Shiqi couldn’t stop coughing and nearly choked!

After coughing several times, Lu Shiqi managed to spit out the sand that she almost swallowed.

After spitting out the sand, Lu Shiqi did not hesitate to block Qin Yu’s thin lips again, and after three attempts, she finally cleared the sand that had entered Qin Yu’s mouth.

After clearing out the sand, Lu Shiqi tried to pass oxygen again, but to her surprise, this breath of air did not enter Qin Yu’s lungs.

What’s the matter? Was the air pressure not sufficient? Lu Shiqi increased the air pressure, and finally, Qin Yu responded, coughing violently and spitting out more sand!

Lu Shiqi began to understand, Brother Yu didn’t just have sand in his mouth, but even his lungs had been filled with it!

Her forceful administration of oxygen was actually harming Brother Yu!

Realizing this, Lu Shiqi no longer forced oxygen into Qin Yu but instead created a bubble, placing Qin Yu’s head inside the bubble to relieve the pressure on it from the water.

Indeed, once inside the bubble, the bleeding from Qin Yu’s head slowed and murky seawater continuously flowed out of his nose and mouth.

Lu Shiqi quickly pulled Qin Yu toward the surface. Halfway through, she felt unnatural as if something was lurking around!

Lu Shiqi hesitated. What if there was satellite surveillance of the explosion area?

Lu Shiqi did not rush to the surface but dived for about ten nautical miles, making sure they had moved far away from the center of the explosion before she finally pulled Qin Yu up to the surface.

Lu Shiqi’s concerns were not unfounded: with SHIELD Bureau suddenly launching intercontinental missiles, the nerves of many countries had been on edge, with the satellites of all major powers immediately locking onto the explosion area.

If Lu Shiqi had emerged earlier, she would definitely have been caught by satellite monitoring, her mermaid identity could be exposed, and it would put Qin Yu in grave danger!

Lu Shiqi found a small island and with great effort, pushed Qin Yu onto it, since having a fishtail made it very inconvenient to get onto the island.

After getting Qin Yu onto the island, Lu Shiqi kept pressing his chest, partly to administer CPR and partly to try to expel the sand from his lungs!

Not knowing how long she had pressed, Qin Yu finally showed a little response! His heartbeat slowly began to recover, and suddenly he started to cough violently!

Lu Shiqi shed tears of excitement, knowing Qin Yu had come back to life! He really had come back!

Finally, with a "wa" sound, Qin Yu vomited a large mouthful of sludge! His coughs became more violent, and he slowly opened his eyes!

After opening his eyes, Qin Yu saw a familiar beautiful face. Was it Shiqi? It was Shiqi who had saved his life!

"Shiqi, how did you... find... me? Cough, cough..."

With just a short sentence, Qin Yu felt as if his chest was going to explode. His whole body was scorching hot! He vaguely remembered the scene that had just happened.

"Don’t talk! Don’t talk, focus on cultivating energy to recuperate." Seeing Qin Yu continuously coughing and vomiting a mouthful of fresh blood again, Lu Shiqi said with a worried face.

Qin Yu blinked to show he understood.

Qin Yu felt a chilling fear inside. Intercontinental missiles were too terrifying, instantly creating a vacuum zone three hundred meters deep in the sea! The intense shock wave had exhausted the energy of the Purple Micro Battle Armor in an instant!

Qin Yu was certain that the skin all over his body was completely charred!

With a thought, the Healing Holy Medicine appeared in his hand, but his arm seemed to disobey his command! He couldn’t get the Healing Holy Medicine into his mouth no matter what!

Qin Yu was very anxious, struggling hard, but no matter how much he struggled, his arm had no sensation at all!

Qin Yu’s complexion changed drastically, and he quickly used his spiritual power to look inward, luckily, his spiritual power was still usable.

Qin Yu was a very good doctor, and through introspection, he discovered that his body was in very bad shape!

The explosion just now was too violent, and he was too close to the center of the explosion, fifty percent of his skin was severely burned.

He had a skull fracture and lost over 1000cc of blood.

However, these were not the most terrifying. The most terrifying thing was, Qin Yu found that his cervical and lumbar vertebrae were both broken! And they were comminuted fractures!

No wonder he couldn’t control his arms!

This was high-level paraplegia! Only his head could move! Below the neck, he was completely paralyzed!

Was he really to be discarded like this?

If Qin Yu were normal, he could use the Xuanyuan Divine Needle to absorb the Power of Creation and the power of fortune to heal his cervical and lumbar vertebrae, but now, his arms couldn’t move at all! How was he supposed to deal with this?

"Brother Yu, what’s wrong with you?" Seeing the look of despair on Qin Yu’s face, Lu Shiqi looked at him worriedly.

"I’m done for! Starting now, I’m a cripple!" Qin Yu said with a bitter face, even if the Valley Master of Medicine Valley were here, it probably would be impossible to reverse the situation, right?

Qin Yu was very unwilling. He had so many things to do, so many close female friends! Was he really going to end up like this?

"Brother Yu, don’t give up! You are so rich, you can go to the best hospitals in the United States for physical therapy. Many people with high-level paraplegia eventually regained the ability to move."

"Mine is different, my cervical and lumbar vertebrae have comminuted fractures! The power of the intercontinental missile was too terrifying!"

Lu Shiqi’s face changed, and she picked up Qin Yu, only to find he was floppy like a soft-shelled shrimp! His head was thrown back in an exaggerated posture, and his waist looked as if it were broken.

Lu Shiqi believed what Qin Yu said, he had indeed become a cripple!

"Brother Yu, whether you are a cripple or not, I am willing to take care of you for the rest of my life! Don’t give up hope, this world is full of miracles." As she spoke, Lu Shiqi began to choke up.

Lu Shiqi’s words made Qin Yu feel very ashamed. When had he become so vulnerable? Even in more difficult situations, he had encountered them before—he couldn’t be defeated by such a challenge!
