“I’ve read a lot of concepts proposed by the scientific community; it’s really possible to design time travel,” Mu An said, particularly excited.

She didn’t notice Gu Xiaozhan’s almost enclosing posture around her, just expressing her views on this matter.

Pei Zhe frowned slightly, then quickly understood what was going on.

In this world, whether it be men or women, the only one who makes Gu Xiaozhan show a state of intimacy, who else but Mu Anhan?

However, when it came to the topic of time travel, he also became interested, “Is it really achievable?”

“This is also a hot topic that modern scientists are researching,” Mu An laughed, “One day it might really be realized…”

Before she finished speaking, the whole cable car suddenly shook.

“What’s going on?” Gu Xiaozhan immediately became alert.

Pei Zhe also assumed a serious expression, “I came up the mountain to see the autumn leaves on a whim.”

As he said, if something really went wrong with this cable car, it wouldn’t be man-made.

Gu Xiaozhan reached out to hold Mu An, “Don’t be afraid; I’m here!”

Mu An nodded, “The cable car is stable again; maybe it really was just an accident?”

“Better safe than sorry,” Gu Xiaozhan remained vigilant, “Pei Zhe, check the cabin.”

“Let me check!” Mu An hurriedly said, after all, directing a country’s president to do work wasn’t very reasonable.

Pei Zhe unexpectedly showed no unwillingness, “I’ll do it.”

“But…” Mu An still wanted to say something.

Pei Zhe stopped Mu An, “I used to be in special operations, if the shaking was just a warning, I can find the real reason…”

Mu An wasn’t skilled in these matters, so she said nothing more.

Pei Zhe lay down on the bottom of the cabin, pressed his ear against it, carefully listening for any sound.

He took out a simple tool he carried with him and unscrewed a bolt.

Gu Xiaozhan and Mu An were both stunned.

It was a timed bomb, and there were only thirty seconds left before it exploded.

And those thirty seconds were not enough to reach the top of the mountain or return to the bottom.

Mu Anhan had experienced a plane crash in the previous life, and she knew how powerful such forces were on her body.

“Pei Zhe, do you know which wire to cut?” Gu Xiaozhan tightened his grip on her hand.

Pei Zhe shook his head, “I suspect cutting any wire won’t work.”

Mu Anhan nodded as well, “I think so too, should we jump?”

She leaned forward to see an abyss outside.

“Take a gamble,” Gu Xiaozhan held her closer.

Everyone understood that gambling on survival might offer a chance to live even if they fell into the abyss.

But not gambling meant possibly dying in the cable car explosion.

Pei Zhe nodded; having lived and died with Mu Anhan, he didn’t feel his life here was wasted.

As the three rushed to prepare to jump, Mu Anhan suddenly took off her backpack, “I have a homemade parachute in here…”

The two men both looked at her simultaneously, wondering how she came to possess such an item.

“During my free time, I designed it for Yao Yao and Yu Er. Last time they watched television, they said soldiers parachuting from planes looked very powerful, so I thought about making one for them. I haven’t given it to them yet!”
