Gu Xiaozhan quickly took off her backpack, opened it, and found it was a very simple device.

But its design was simple and easy to operate.

From ten thousand meters high, the odds were very low.

If it were two children’s weight flying down from a low place, it would be like an adventure, quite fun.

But for adults, it was too risky.

"But this is only suitable for one person’s weight, isn’t it?" Gu Xiaozhan put it on her without further ado.

Mu Anhan couldn’t possibly escape alone; she grabbed Gu Xiaozhan’s hand, "Let’s go together!"

"No!" Gu Xiaozhan shook his head firmly, regardless of the time; he would always give her the chance to live.

"Then I won’t take it either." Mu Anhan said, and tried to take it off.

"You..." Gu Xiaozhan was both angry and anxious, seeing the countdown time getting shorter.

Pei Zhe admired them, a pair of lovers who could face any problem together.

Life or death, someone would be there.

"Gu Xiaozhan, accompany An Han!" Pei Zhe urged, "Hurry, there’s no time!"

Gu Xiaozhan looked at him, "What about you?"

"You jump first, I’ll follow after I cut the wire." Pei Zhe said calmly.

"Pei Zhe, let’s go together." Mu Anhan called him.

Pei Zhe gave her a touched look, "An Han, those words alone are enough."

Some people might only ever see one’s back in their life, but his heart was warmed by her, and that was enough.

"Gu Xiaozhan, hurry!" Pei Zhe urged harshly as he watched the countdown reach five seconds.

Gu Xiaozhan looked at Mu Anhan, knowing that escaping together without Pei Zhe would forever haunt Mu Anhan.

Despite frequently disagreeing with Pei Zhe, in critical moments, he would make the right decision.

Mu Anhan held Gu Xiaozhan’s hand more tightly; they exchanged looks and nodded.

At the moment of jumping, they each grabbed Pei Zhe’s hand, and the three leaped out of the cabin together.

"You..." Pei Zhe hadn’t expected them to team up for this decision.

Before he finished speaking, the entire cable car cabin exploded.

Bright flames burned continually in the air, and exploded fragments scattered everywhere.

The three looked back, relieved they discovered it in time.

But their hearts were heavy; none spoke.

Due to their combined weight, their descent speed increased. The homemade parachute hadn’t opened yet.

Mu Anhan activated the switch, triggering the parachute, and with a "whoosh," it opened into the air; a parachute adorned with stars and the sea began floating.

She looked at the two men who often disagreed with each other, amazed that they were now together under such circumstances.

"An Han, you’re truly amazing!" Pei Zhe exclaimed sincerely.

Once the crisis eased, Gu Xiaozhan immediately retorted, "Of course, if my wife isn’t the most amazing, then who is?"

Pei Zhe chuckled and nodded.

Mu Anhan also laughed, "I must thank my willingness to be a mother who accompanies her children as they grow, otherwise I wouldn’t have personally designed a parachute for them."

Who’d have thought a blessing in disguise would occur, trying an air escape method first.
