Chapter 673: Chapter 671: Actually, I Think It’s Alright

"Holy moly!"

Celeste Grant exclaimed, her eyes fixed on the lobster that was over a meter long. She was thoroughly impressed. "My sweet girl, did you catch this huge lobster?"

One look was enough to know this wasn’t an ordinary lobster. It was emanating a frosty aura and was covered in a thin layer of ice. This was a Glacial Beast from Glacian.

The lobster was still alive, a round, blood-red rune on its body. It was a Seal, imprisoning it and keeping it from running away. It was much like how lobsters and crabs in The Mortal Realm are tied up with rope—the principle was the same, just the method was different.

HEH HEH...

The little girl standing before Celeste Grant was thrilled, tilting her head up slightly with pride. "That’s right, Mommy! I’m the one who caught this big, beautiful lobster." As she spoke, she pointed off into the distance and said with a smile, "There’s an ice cave over there. If you go inside, you’ll find The Open Sea, and it has everything!"

Celeste Grant walked over and bent down to look at the lobster on the ground. ’This color, and these shiny big claws... The meat must be incredibly tender. It would be perfect steamed, grilled, or made spicy... So many good options.’

Just then, a figure appeared in the distance, and her son’s voice followed. "My precious little sister, you run so fast! You didn’t even wait for your big brother."

Elise Sinclair looked up at him and started laughing. "Well, it’s your fault for being so slow! I caught a huge lobster and had to drag it back to show Mommy. Wow, brother, you caught a fish! It’s so big!"

"That’s right! Your big brother is amazing, isn’t he? Heh heh, sweetie, I’ll grill some fish for you later."

"Yay, brother! I want to help."

"No problem."

Aaron Sinclair stood not far from them, holding a two-meter-long fish in one hand. The fish was still fresh and alive, its scales shimmering with a faint silver light.

"Mom, I’m back."

As he spoke, he waved to Celeste Grant, a sunny smile on his face. "Mommy, this place is full of good stuff! It’s a foodie’s paradise. Look at this fish—the meat is definitely going to be amazing. We’ll have spicy boiled fish tonight. Heh heh, Mommy, you’re about to taste my masterpiece."

The little girl nodded eagerly.

"Meat, meat!"

Seeing the identical foodie expressions on the siblings’ faces, Celeste Grant didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. ’When it came to eating, her two children were certainly gifted.’

Celeste Grant smiled and nodded.

"Alright, we’ll have fish tonight."

The little girl walked to her side and hugged her arm. "Mommy, don’t forget the big lobster! Grill it!"

"Haha, alright. Mommy will grill it for you." Celeste Grant reached out and stroked her head. "You’re such a little foodie."

Javier Sinclair let out a soft chuckle.

He walked over and scooped up his daughter.

"It’s a blessing to have a good appetite. My little Princess should eat a lot so she can get nice and chubby. That’s how you’ll be cute."

The little girl puffed out her cheeks and shook her head quickly. "Daddy, I don’t want to be chubby!"

"Oh? Why not?"

"Daddy’s silly. Chubby isn’t pretty."

Hearing this, Celeste Grant, who was standing to the side, couldn’t help but laugh. "Haha, sweetie, you already know that ’chubby’ isn’t pretty?" She reached out to pinch her daughter’s cheek and said with a smile, "Actually, our Ellie looks very pretty with her round cheeks. See? So fair-skinned and adorable."

"No..."

The little girl frowned and shook her head. "I don’t want to grow up to be a big fatty. I want to be just like Mommy, and like Aunt Nerida. That’s what a true beauty is."

Aaron Sinclair casually tossed the fish on the ground, wiped his hands, and walked over. "Exactly, exactly! When my sister grows up, she’ll definitely be the most beautiful girl in all of heaven and earth. Even now, she’s the prettiest and cutest little sister."

This made the little girl happy.

"Big brother is handsome too. You’re the best big brother in the world."

"Wow, am I really that great? My little sweetie pie, let big brother give you a kiss." As he spoke, Aaron Sinclair leaned in and planted a kiss on his little sister’s cheek.

The little girl glared at him, puffing her cheeks.

"No kissing! You have to pay for that."

This made Celeste Grant burst out laughing.

"HAHAHA..."

「That evening.」

A grill was set up in the courtyard.

Vermilion flew through the air to light the charcoal, then perched on an ancient tree to preen its brilliant feathers. The White Tiger family reverted to their original forms and lay on the ground nearby, waiting to eat, a small cub tumbling all over them.

Jade, clad in a black cloak, stood before the grill, carefully cooking the lobster. Every so often, he would baste it with a bit of oil.

Not far from him, a small, palm-sized turtle was lying on an ornamental rock. The little turtle kept stretching its head out to peek at the grill.

This was Black Tortoise, the little turtle Celeste Grant was raising. Black Tortoise had become her contracted Spirit Beast back when she was still pregnant with her daughter.

Now, however, she had passed it to her daughter to keep her safe. The little turtle’s defensive power was immense, and Celeste Grant felt at ease with it watching over her child.

Usually, her daughter carried the little turtle around in her pocket. But Black Tortoise was very lazy. Except for when it was eating dried fish, it was always sleeping. It could fall asleep anywhere at all, completely unconcerned with its surroundings.

The courtyard was quite lively that night.

Javier Sinclair personally dispatched the fish.

Her son then took over, expertly slicing it into fillets.

Celeste Grant made a pot of spicy boiled fish with a fragrant, numbing red chili oil broth. She also grilled the lobster her daughter had caught. The exquisite flavor came from the charcoal of the highest-grade Spirit Wood used for the fire.

Besides Celeste Grant’s family, they had also invited Nerida and her husband, Aeron. This was their first real meal since arriving in The Demon Realm.

It was a family feast.

Only the closest family was present.

「At the dinner table.」

The air was filled with laughter and cheerful chatter; the mood was warm and harmonious.

Celeste Grant looked at Nerida and the others with a smile. "We’ve only just arrived in The Demon Realm, so we’re not familiar with anything yet. Once we’re settled, we should have a proper get-together. We can invite the higher-ups from The Demon Realm so we can get to know them."

’The entire Demon Realm was their family business, like a massive corporation. Javier Sinclair was the hands-off chairman who controlled the big picture but managed none of the details. The leaders below him were all like general managers and directors. As the boss’s wife, she really needed to be able to put faces to names. It would be embarrassing to go out later and not know who anyone was.’

Nerida nodded.

"My Lady, I was thinking the same thing. It’s so inconvenient that The Demon Realm doesn’t have a Spiritual Network. We should get back into our old business and set up cell phones and the network here." Even in a new place, they needed to establish a firm foothold and build their enterprise bigger and stronger.

Celeste Grant smiled.

"Mm-hmm, we absolutely have to get the cell phones and the Spiritual Network running. Otherwise, how would we ever pass the time on boring days?"

Nerida and Celeste Grant simultaneously turned to look at Javier Sinclair.
