Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1911: Neveross, the Abyssal Soul Leviathan

Yukiko and her sisters appeared in a not-too-luxurious garden, but they were immediately taken aback by what they saw.

It was just that everything about this garden reeked of power and danger. It felt like every blade of grass could cut deep into their soul and wound even their Dao Heart.

And seated at the center of the garden was a man clad in a blue set of well-designed robes, his wavy blue hair falling down his back. He was tall, perhaps closer to 7 feet, and well-built, athletic even.

He didn’t appear to be dangerous, yet Vexthra and her sisters came to a halt when they laid eyes on him. It was as if his mere presence was death, and they could feel it deep in their souls.

’This man is dangerous, and he is only a Pseudo-Primordial,’ Eliza, who was the strongest of them, said inwardly, making sure she stood in front of her sisters just in case this man tried to attack.

"Relax, ladies, that is just how he is. His presence naturally makes one tremble deep within their soul," Yukiko said, a smirk forming on her face as she gazed at the man whom she would never forget, even if her memories were wiped.

After all, long before they met, she saw him in one of her divinations, long before the Divine Beast Tamer tamed him and made him one of the 13 Divine Wonders.

"Hey, Neveross, aren’t you afraid I will tell Master you scared his wives?" Yukiko threatened, and it worked. The moment the words came out, the intimidating presence in the air vanished, allowing Vexthra and her sisters to breathe.

"Yukiko, my friend, no need to involve Master in this. Plus, I didn’t know they were that close with Master." Neveross clearly had no plans of being snitched on by Yukiko.

Who knows the kind of mission he would be sent on as punishment?

"Tch, it’s been years, but you still haven’t changed a bit," Yukiko sneered and turned to look at her sisters. "Ladies, meet Neveross, the Abyssal Soul Leviathan, one of the most dangerous sea beasts you will ever meet.

"Don’t let his good looks fool you. He is very dangerous."

"Nice meeting you, Lord Neveross," Vexthra greeted, and the blue-haired man nodded.

"Likewise, ladies."

"They are Master’s wives and my sisters, so better be hospitable before I tell on you."

Neveross smiled and waved his hand, summoning chairs and a table filled with nicely brewed tea. Clearly, he wanted to impress them just to make sure Yukiko kept her mouth shut.

"So Master is really back, huh?"

"Yes. He came for me in the Star Realm, and we have since been together since then. But that isn’t the reason why we are here."

"Oh, do tell. Why then did you come, if not to meet your little brother who misses you so much?" Neveross laughed, knowing his words wouldn’t amount to anything as long as Yukiko still had plans to snitch on him.

His only prayer was that the ladies whom he had served his best tea would speak on his behalf.

Yukiko turned to Vexthra to continue.

"A friend of your master told us a while back that this place was attacked by an organization called Grim Arcane Legends. Luckily, you managed to prevent them from achieving their goals and even captured and imprisoned some of them.

"Is there any chance that those you captured are still alive? If they are, we would like to interrogate them to find the whereabouts of their stronghold.

"They have someone close to one of our sisters, and so we want to rescue her and, if possible, annihilate them, making sure every last one of them is reduced to dust."

Vexthra ended her statement with a closed fist, showing she meant business.

A mysterious smile appeared on Neveross’s face, and then he grinned. "Oh, this sounds very serious. Luckily for you ladies, I have long since interrogated them and managed to extract everything there is to know from them before killing them."

The smile on his face widened. "However, I have preserved their souls, so after reviewing what I managed to gather, you can further interrogate them and see if you can pull something else out of them."

Neveross waved his hand, and a small blue light materialized in his hand, which soon turned into a soul manual.

"Here is everything I managed to extract from them after spending a thousand years interrogating them."

Vexthra received the manual, and after flipping through a few pages, her expression brightened.

"Great, this is really great. Thank you, Lord Neveross."

The blue-haired bastard smiled and nodded. "It is always a pleasure helping the master, both directly and indirectly."

He looked at Yukiko from the corner of his eye. The latter smirked and turned to look at the manual.

"This is indeed a great find. If what is here is used well, I am sure the end of the Grim Arcane Legends is near," Yukiko said before turning to Neveross.

"Fine, I won’t tell on you, but you are coming with us to annihilate the Grim Arcane Legends."

"Only natural. I already have plans to pay them a visit one of these days. Joining you ladies to do it will surely be an eye-opener."

He waved his hand, and a large cauldron rose from the ground. Then, with another wave, the lid opened slightly, allowing five souls, each bound in chains, to appear in the air.

"They are the five I have kept alive since they knew more than the others. You can later interrogate them if you want."

Zaila narrowed her eyes at the five souls before turning to Neveross. "Is it possible to make them a bit docile? I wish to take a deep dive into their minds and see what they are still hiding."

"But of course."

Neveross extended his hand, and a sea rose in the garden.

"This water feels like it is from the River Styx," Vexthra muttered, having already come face-to-face with how dreadful that water is whenever Kent uses the Underworld Soul River.

"It is indeed from the River Styx."

Yukiko furrowed her brow. "So you actually went there, huh?"

Neveross smiled. "I did, and I nearly died too. But I didn’t return empty-handed, though."

"Unbelievable."
