Why did they laugh?

It was because the Guardian of the Beast Kingdom was a member of the 13 Divine Wonders, the legendary beasts that once followed the Divine Beast Tamer.

And as it happened, the Divine Beast Tamer was Kent. But even if he wasn’t, they had Yukiko, who was a member of the 13 Divine Wonders. If they wished to see the Guardian, they just had to tell her, and she would take them.

Already, they had plans to go to the Beast Kingdom and inform the Guardian that their master was back, and so they should get the gang back together.

Crimson Dagger furrowed his brow when he heard what they said. In the end, however, he chose not to pry into their business. His job was to make sure they succeeded, and that was what he would do and had already started doing.

"Since that is the case, then I will leave that matter with you ladies. For now, we have to discuss how the attack will happen. We have three strongholds, meaning we need three teams. I have started assembling a team to handle the attacks.

I propose that when we find the true stronghold, the Midnight Shadows will handle the other two, and you ladies, since you wish to focus on the main one, will handle that.

We already have spies among their ranks, but since we can’t contact them regularly, we have to be sure of what we are looking for before we attack.

Hopefully, your visit to the Beast Kingdom will yield some results."

Hearing what Crimson Dagger had proposed, the ladies nodded. "That sounds like a good plan, and rest assured, we will get the information we want even if we have to dirty our hands and soil our morals."

Zaila had no plans to hold herself back, so if they indeed came face-to-face with these prisoners, they were going to wish they had no minds of their own.

"Then we meet here when you return." Crimson Dagger gave them a communication token. "You can use this to reach me when you return."

After a few more discussions, they went their separate ways. Vexthra and her sisters entered the tower, but instead of going to the Harem Tower, they appeared in the Legion Tower, where Yukiko was waiting for them.

The last thing they wanted was to give Meiko false hope or more bad news.

After revealing their next plans to Yukiko, she left with them, knowing they had a much better chance of getting answers by going to the Beast Kingdom than by blindly attacking the three strongholds.

"Let’s just hope Nerevoss hasn’t killed them already." That was Yukiko’s worry. She knew all 13 Divine Wonders, and so she knew the kind of beast the Abyssal Soul Leviathan was.

He was the no-nonsense type of beast, so if the people he had imprisoned didn’t cooperate, he would just kill them.

"Then again, he is the type who plays with souls, so even if he kills them, their souls will be preserved, so there is an upside to things," she laughed.

After a few days of travel, they entered a Transport Channel, which would take them a few more days to reach the Beast Kingdom.

The Beast Kingdom spanned from the Celestial Realm to the Immortal Realm. It was said that when the Divine Beast Tamer finally returned to the universe to cement his stance as one of the greatest warriors, he created the Beast Kingdom to house his followers.

Since each Divine Wonder under his rule had their own armies, he needed a safe place for them. So he went far and wide and found uninhabited planets and, using a unique ancient technique, merged them, creating some of the largest planets in the universe.

He then linked them, connecting the Celestial Realm, Supreme Realm, God Realm and Immortal Realm, allowing safe travel between realms without the universe interfering.

Only beasts lived there, and they were all descendants of the warriors who followed the 13 Divine Wonders and, by extension, the Divine Beast Tamer.

Over the years, some humans were allowed to live there. Most of them crossbred with the beasts, giving rise to new races. Eventually, the Beast Kingdom became one of the most powerful zones in all four realms.

That, of course, threatened many, and so over the years, many tried to invade and suppress the inhabitants of the Beast Kingdom, but they were met with one failure after another.

Even without the Guardian’s interference, all attacks and invasions failed. That showed just how powerful the Beast Kingdom was and why it remained standing despite several eras and wars plaguing the universe.

"I learnt the Beast Kingdom is comparable to a Minor Galaxy. If that is the case, how long would it take us to meet the Guardian?" Vexthra asked just when they were only a day away from the Beast Kingdom.

Yukiko smiled and said, "You will see when the time comes."

The ladies had no idea what she had planned, so they could only wait and see what she would do when they arrived at their destination.

A day later, they arrived at one of the outposts that led to the Beast Kingdom. Vexthra was also worried since she wasn’t a beast, and neither were the rest of her sisters, except for Yukiko.

So, since there was a no-human rule, though not heavily enforced these days due to traders and merchants being allowed to come and go, she didn’t know how they would be allowed to enter.

But all of them widened their eyes when the moment arrived, Yukiko did something they never expected from her.

She took a deep breath, then unleashed her bloodline power, causing the aura of an Overlord to spread and cover the entire Beast Kingdom.

"I know you can sense my presence, Nerevoss. If you don’t want trouble, you better come get us before I start destroying things."

"What the hell, Yukiko? Isn’t the whole point of bringing you so we could avoid trouble?" Vexthra screamed at Yukiko, but instead of responding, she smiled and turned to her left.

There, space twisted, and a portal formed. Then, from the portal, an annoyed voice reached everyone...

"I now understand why nobody likes you, Yukiko."

"See, problem solved." Yukiko giggled and walked toward the portal. "Let’s go, sisters."
