William made Vivian look directly into his eyes and spoke gently.

"I am not lying. You want to know why I want to marry you, right?"

He gently stroked the side of her face.

Vivian subconsciously nodded upon hearing William’s words.

William smiled and leaned forward, whispering into her ear.

"Because I know I won’t fall in love with anyone else other than you in this life. I don’t want to live as a single dog in this life again, so why not get married to the person I love?"

William’s breath brushed against Vivian’s ear, making her feel a tingling sensation.

Vivian’s mouth twitched slightly when she saw the annoying smile on his face.

"Do you really want to be locked up in a room?"

"I actually don’t mind," William said with a sigh. "But there are many things I need to do. So just lock me up after I am done with them."

Vivian remained silent at William’s words.

By now, her emotions had already calmed down, and as she recalled what she had done earlier, she couldn’t help but lower her head.

’I thought I would be able to change myself, but I did it again.’

William saw her lowering her head and gently lifted her chin.

"Listen, Vivian. I know you are acting differently because of what happened in the past. But honestly, you don’t need to..." He spoke seriously.

He stroked her still somewhat platinum-white hair.

"I know you want to change because of what happened before, but this isn’t the right way."

A look of confusion appeared on Vivian’s face.

"Then what should I do?"

"I don’t know." William shook his head. "But... We can always find a better solution together. Something that doesn’t harm either of us."

"It’s not that bad. Other than making me uncomfortable because of suppressing my emotions, it doesn’t have any other side effects."

"As if..." William’s mouth twitched when he heard Vivian’s words.

Vivian’s eyes finally flickered slightly and the lost look gradually disappeared from her face.

"Then, are you willing to form an Eternal Blood Pact with me?"
