Chapter 126: Eternal Blood Pact (Part 2)

"Eternal Blood Pact?" William showed a confused expression, as it was the first time he was hearing about it.

"Hmmm..." Vivian nodded. "You know about Blood Slaves, right?"

William’s expression turned strange, and he asked with a weird look, "You want to turn me into a Blood Slave?"

"Of course not..." Vivian quickly shook her head at William’s absurd thought and explained. "To turn a person into a Blood Slave, you need to conduct a Blood Pact ritual on them. Eternal Blood Pact is similar to it, but slightly different..."

She looked at William and spoke seriously.

"Unlike the normal Blood Pact, Eternal Blood Pact is something that only people from the highest nobility of vampires can conduct. Moreover, every person can only conduct one Eternal Blood Pact throughout their life. Once this pact is established with someone, both parties will be connected to each other through their souls, making them inseparable."

William couldn’t help but show a look of surprise upon hearing Vivian’s explanation.

"This pact... Why does it sound like a marriage ritual?" He asked curiously. "Is this a marriage ritual between you vampires?"

"No..." Vivian shook her head. "Even husbands and wives rarely conduct an Eternal Blood Pact. Once this pact is established, you will be closely connected with the other party. Unless two people have absolute trust in each other and are sure that they want to spend their entire lives together, they wouldn’t conduct an Eternal Blood Pact."

As Vivian explained, she couldn’t help but feel nervous inside, afraid that William would refuse to go through this ritual.

William noticed her nervousness and smiled slightly.

"Then, Blood Queen, are you sure you want to bind yourself to me for the rest of your life?"

Vivian saw William’s teasing smile and paused for a moment. But soon, she also smiled and spoke.

"It should be you who should think about it. Once this pact is established, you won’t be able to get away even if you want to."

William chuckled and took a step forward.

"I never intend to get away from you, so this thing is perfect."

Seeing that he wasn’t refusing, Vivian tapped the ground with one of her feet, and Aether Energy flowed through the ground.

A magic circle began to rapidly construct itself under the control of her Aether Energy, looking extremely complex.

William glanced at the magic circle that was slowly being drawn under his feet, but found that he couldn’t understand anything about it since it was too complex.

"Other than making us life companions, the Eternal Blood Pact also has many other benefits," Vivian said while constructing the magic circle.

"If you were a vampire, there would have been a very high possibility that your bloodline would have evolved to the next level after the pact. But since you are not one, we can rule out that possibility. But even then, there is a high possibility that you will gain one of my bloodline abilities, such as Super Regeneration, Blood Control, or something else."

"An ability from your bloodline..." William’s eyes flickered slightly. "Can I gain any bloodline ability? Including that one?"

Vivian showed a look of confusion for a moment, but soon understood which ability he was talking about.

"It’s possible. But the ability you will gain is random, so I am not sure if you can get that one."

William felt somewhat disappointed upon hearing that he couldn’t choose the ability himself, but there was nothing he could do.

"By the way, what about you? Will you also get something?"

Vivian chuckled at William’s words.

"The Eternal Blood Pact is normally influenced by a person’s bloodline. Since you don’t have any bloodline, I won’t get any ability."

William paused for a second when he heard Vivian’s words and couldn’t help but think about the divinity in his blood.

Although his bloodline section on his status window showed None, he was certain that he had a bloodline.

It was just that this bloodline was still unawakened.

Moreover, it was very likely that his bloodline was related to that Supreme Figure he had seen.

"Have you forgotten about the divinity in my blood? Do you think it would affect the ritual?"

Vivian was taken aback when she heard William, as she had completely forgotten about the divinity in his blood.

A frown appeared on her face, and she spoke uncertainly.

"It shouldn’t affect the pact, right?"

William was speechless seeing her uncertain expression.

But he soon shook his head and spoke calmly.

"Let’s try it out first. If it doesn’t work, we will simply get married normally for the time being and think about the pact later."

Vivian showed a smile. "You are really eager to get married, aren’t you?"

"What can I do?" William said with a helpless expression. "If I don’t marry you, wouldn’t you always feel uneasy?"

Vivian fell silent at his words.

"If the pact fails, then let’s wait for some time. We can think about marriage later."

"Why?" William raised an eyebrow in surprise, as he did not expect Vivian to refuse.

"If we get married normally, I want your parents to be present as well."

William looked at Vivian’s serious expression and couldn’t help but smile slightly.

He step forward and kissed her on the forehead, as he knew she was saying this mostly for his sake.

"Thank you."

Vivian shook her head and didn’t say anything.

Soon, the magic circle was complete, and it glowed faintly under their feet.

"I heard most rituals require some special materials. Does this ritual also require some?" William asked as he looked at the completed magic circle.

"It doesn’t..." Vivian said softly. "We ourselves are the main materials for the ritual."

"Oh..." William nodded and then asked, "Should we start?"

Vivian nodded and took a deep breath. She looked at the magic circle below and spoke seriously.

"Drip some of your blood onto the circle."

As she spoke, Vivian cut the palm of her hand as well, making her blood drip onto the circle.

William immediately took out Blood Moon and did the same, letting his blood flow onto the magic circle.

As soon as both of their blood touched the magic circle, the circle began to glow brightly, and their blood squirmed like worms, slowly merging together.

At the same time, both of them sensed a strange force enveloping them, making them feel as if a strange connection was slowly forming between them.

And as soon as this connection began to form, without William noticing, the symbol that had appeared on the back of his palm after he had seen that Supreme Figure once again reappeared.
