RE: LORD OF TIME

Chapter 166: Can He Accept It? (Part 2)

William’s title, Progenitor’s Blood, allowed him to start a lineage of Vampires, a lineage completely different from the existing one related to the Blood Ancestor.

Using his Progenitor Blood, he could turn normal humans into Vampires.

Normally, if William turned a person into a Vampire, they would possess a Mortal or Mystic Grade Vampire Bloodline, depending on their talent.

There was a very low, extremely low, chance that because the talent of the person being turned into a Vampire was very high, they would become a Vampire with a Royal Grade Bloodline.

But that was the limit.

The highest level of Bloodline a person could awaken after being turned into a Vampire by him was Royal Grade.

It was impossible for a person to directly awaken an Apex Grade Bloodline after being turned into a Vampire by him.

But as a new Progenitor, a Progenitor who was on the path to creating a new lineage, William’s title allowed him to share a portion of his Origin Grade Bloodline with someone while turning them into a Vampire.

If used, the said person would have a very high probability of awakening an Apex Grade Bloodline.

This thing was only possible because he was on the path of creating a new lineage, and to continue this path, he needed someone powerful to carry on his lineage.

He could share his bloodline origin with only two people in his entire lifetime, allowing them to awaken Apex Grade Vampire Bloodline.

And William planned to use one of them on Liam.

"Do you really trust him that much?"

Vivian didn’t ask why he wanted to grant Liam a portion of his bloodline, but instead asked this question.

As someone who possessed an Apex Grade Vampire Bloodline, she knew very well just how terrifying its power was.

She was born with an Apex Grade Bloodline, so her understanding of it was even better than William’s, who had only recently acquired his bloodline.

"He is one of the few people I can entrust my back to without doubting," William answered Vivian’s question in a serious voice.

Vivian stared at him for a few seconds before speaking softly.

"Will, you know that guy is different from you, right?"

William raised an eyebrow in confusion.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, once you turn him into a Vampire, he will really stop being a human. He is not like you, who can simply assimilate a bloodline and retain his original race. Once it’s done, he will be a Vampire... Something that will no longer be human."

She looked at him seriously.

"Are you sure he can accept it?"

William opened his mouth to say that it wasn’t a big deal. But suddenly, he paused and closed his mouth.

’I completely forgot his mentality is still different from what it was in the original timeline.’

In the original timeline, they had struggled for a long time before eventually dying in the war.

By that time, they had long since come to understand that the only thing that mattered in the world was their own strength.

Unless they were strong, they couldn’t do anything... Couldn’t protect themselves or the things that they deemed precious to them.

Only by being strong could they keep themselves and everything they considered precious safe.

William’s mentality was still the same because he had the memories of the original timeline.

But Liam was different.

He had just emerged from his hometown and come to the academy.

Moreover, because of William’s presence, his journey inside the academy had also been quite smooth.

If William were to ask him if he wanted to become a Vampire, William was really not sure if he would agree right now.

William remained silent for a while before he took a deep breath and finally spoke.

"...I will talk to him. If he agrees, I will need your help to keep watch during the ritual."

Vivian nodded before she took a step forward and came closer to him.

"I am actually jealous that it’s someone else other than me who is going to get a bloodline related to you."

William paused before he chuckled and pulled her into his arms.

"What’s there to be jealous about? Don’t you have my Chaos Evolution ability? As long as you continue to drink my blood, your bloodline will eventually evolve into Origin Grade, and since it’s evolving through my blood, your lineage will also shift toward mine instead of the Blood Ancestor."

"Hmmm..." Vivian nodded, as she could also feel the changes in her bloodline after gaining the Chaos Evolution ability and drinking his blood.

"Since you are going to grant your bloodline to someone, I should also hurry up and change my bloodline into something related to you."

As she spoke, Vivian bit the side of his neck.

"There is no need to make such childish excuses. If you want to drink it, just drink it. It’s not like I am going to refuse," William mumbled with a shake of his head.

Just then, he saw Victoria returning to the kitchen.

She still had the same dazed look from the beginning, as if she still couldn’t overcome the shock that her Lady was already married.

And the instant she entered the kitchen, she saw Vivian clinging tightly to William, her face buried in the crook of his neck.

Her already stiff body stiffened even further, and her raised step stopped midair.

Like a robot, she turned around with her foot still suspended in midair and left the kitchen, her eyes almost rolling back into her head.

William’s mouth twitched slightly when he saw this, and he wondered if Victoria would find him later on to settle the account.

’Considering her somewhat petty personality, it’s very likely that when I come here next time, she will add three pounds of salt to my food before feeding me.’

Vivian just drank his blood for a minute before she pulled away and licked her lips.

As she pulled back, the small wound on William’s neck healed instantly.

"Let’s go out. It won’t look good if we leave them alone out there for too long."

William nodded and walked with her.

Just then, he thought of something and asked.

"There really is no Golden Honey and Deep Earth Fruit for me?"

Vivian glanced at him from the corner of her eyes and smiled slightly.

"There are actually two portions left. I am planning to use them as dessert. If someone wants to eat them, they will have to join me for dinner tonight."

William’s eyes immediately lit up when he heard her.

"I knew it. How can there be no dessert for me?" He said and patted his chest.

"Don’t worry, Beautiful Lady, I will definitely join you for dinner."

"Oh..." Vivian didn’t say anything, but her lips arched upward slightly.

At the same time, while William couldn’t see, she made a V gesture with her hand as if her plan had succeeded.
