Chapter 167: How Did You Meet William?

"Holy shit! What is this thing? Why do I have a feeling that I am floating on clouds just by tasting it?" Liam exclaimed in surprise as he tasted the Glazed Golden Honey that Victoria had just served them.

"Keep it quiet, you bumpkin..." Alicia immediately said upon hearing his loud voice and looked around.

Only when she saw no one was there did she sigh in relief and speak.

"Don’t act so surprised at everything you see. We are here as William’s friends. If you act like this, wouldn’t the servants of the house look down on William, thinking that a commoner really has uncultured swine as friends?"

"OH!" Liam immediately nodded and closed his mouth.

But he still pointed at the honey and asked in a low voice.

"Do you know what this is?"

"Glazed Golden Honey..." Alicia explained, even her eyes showing surprise. "This thing is produced by Forest Golden Bees. It’s a special species of bee that is only found in the Heavenly Realm."

"Heavenly Realm?" A look of shock appeared on Liam’s face. "Does it mean this thing was brought back from the Heavenly Realm?"

"Hmmm..." Alicia nodded as she also ate some of the Glazed Golden Honey. "This thing is luxurious even in the Heavenly Realm, and a very low amount of it is transported to other realms every year."

"Damn, why do I have a feeling that this honey might be more expensive than my entire self?" Liam muttered under his breath and looked at the watermelon-like fruit.

"What about th—"

He was about to ask about the Deep Earth Fruit, but just then, he heard the sound of footsteps and shut his mouth.

Even his expression returned to calm, as if nothing in the room could faze him. Even when he ate the honey, he did not show any surprise, as if he were used to eating these things.

Although he did not like to pretend, he still felt what Alicia had said earlier was right, and he shouldn’t act like a bumpkin.

"What’s with that Master-like expression on your face, as if you have seen through the entire world?"

William’s voice suddenly rang out from beside him.

Liam was startled and quickly turned his head, seeing William looking at him weirdly.

Beside him, Vivian was also looking at him, wondering if he didn’t like the Glazed Golden Honey and that was why he was showing such an expression.

"That—" The masterful expression on Liam’s face immediately crumbled upon seeing the weird looks he was receiving, and he did not know what to say.

"You didn’t like this honey?"

William came beside Liam and, without being polite, picked up a spoon from the side and tasted the honey as well.

"Tastes fine to me..." He said and picked up the jar. "Since you don’t like it, I will finish it for you. How about you just drink some water?"

Liam wanted to snatch the jar of honey back, but seeing that Vivian’s gaze was fixed on them, he felt embarrassed to do so.

Alicia, who was at the side, facepalmed and didn’t know what to say at such a scene.

"Alright, stop teasing your friend."

Vivian finally spoke and, with a wave of her hand, the jar in William’s hand floated back in front of Liam.

"Don’t mind him. He was just teasing you," She said with a smile and pulled William away, sitting on a chair opposite Alicia and Liam.

Alicia immediately stood up when she saw this and bowed slightly while holding the side of her dress, intending to introduce herself as noble ladies did.

But a force suddenly came down on her body, making her sit back on the chair.

"No need for all those formalities..." Vivian said with a wave of her hand. "I hate that stuff."

"OH..." Alicia was startled by her words and didn’t know what to say.

The atmosphere in the room turned completely silent, with Liam and Alicia feeling uncomfortable while William enjoyed the scene of their nervousness.

’As expected, normal people really can’t handle her superior aura.’

William shook his head and broke the silence for them.

"Let me introduce you..." He pointed at Vivian beside him. "This is my wife, Vivian Bloodworth."

He then pointed at Liam.

"Vivi, he is my friend Liam, whom I told you about. And this... I don’t need to introduce her, right?"

"Alicia Ashford..." Vivian nodded. "I know about the younger daughter of Marquess Ashford."

’Bloodworth...’

Alicia tried to recall if she had heard about this family before, but there was no information about them in her mind.

Although she was confused, since she felt Vivian should be from a highly influential family considering the things she had seen until now, she did not ask anything about it.

"Lady Vivian, William said you are our senior in the academy? Are you in fourth year?"

"No..." Vivian answered calmly. "I have long since graduated from the academy."

"Already graduated?" Liam was taken aback. "If you are already graduated, then why do you come to the academy?"

Vivian smiled slightly at his question and asked back.

"Is there any rule that graduated students are not allowed to go to the academy?"

"That..." Liam scratched his head because that wasn’t exactly what he intended to ask.

Alicia understood what he wanted to say, so she spoke on his behalf.

"I think he wants to ask if you already graduated, why do you still live in the academy? Earlier, William told us that you often live in the academy while sometimes staying at your other properties in the city."

"I have my personal villa in the academy..." Vivian crossed her legs and spoke elegantly. "I used to live there while attending the academy. Later, when I graduated, I asked Old Man Charles to give it to me, and now that villa belongs to me."

"What?!"

Liam and Alicia were both stunned and looked at Vivian with bewildered expressions.

"You mean, you asked Old Man— I mean, Duke Charles for a villa, and he gave it to you?" Alicia asked in disbelief, because she knew even the other Duke Family heirs didn’t have their own villas inside the academy since Duke Charles never allowed anyone to own anything related to the academy.

Now Vivian was saying she owned a villa inside the academy.

It was simply crazy in her opinion. Moreover...

’The way she spoke about Duke Charles, it doesn’t look like she is talking about someone superior, but a person who is at the same standing as her.’

Alicia was really confused as she thought about this.

"When you see your father next time, tell him the products he sent last time were not up to par." Alicia suddenly heard Vivian’s voice.

"Senior, you know my father?" Alicia asked in surprise.

"Hmmm..." Vivian nodded.

Alicia thought about the words Vivian had just spoken and felt it might be because she had purchased something from their guild, so she nodded.

"I will inform Father," She said and thought.

’Since she knows Father, Father must know about her as well. I can ask him for more information about her.’

"You ladies talk..." William suddenly spoke and looked at Liam. "Come with me for a minute."

"Huh?"

Liam was taken aback as he was about to eat the Deep Earth Fruit.

But seeing William already ready to leave, he stood up and followed after him reluctantly.

Vivian glanced at them but did not say anything, as she already knew what they were going to do.

Alicia was stunned when she was suddenly left alone with Vivian and didn’t know what to say.

Vivian smiled when she saw this and rested her chin on the back of her palm.

"Don’t be nervous..." She spoke with a smile. "How about you tell me how you met William?"

Although there was a smile on Vivian’s face, Alicia couldn’t help but gulp her saliva for some reason.
