Chapter 607 Insta-clearing the Heaven-Reaching Tower for Unparalleled Defense Tower Upgrade Materials

Version 4.8 had been fully updated. All that remained was Version 4.9—which would feature confrontations with NPCs and bosses—and it could be released at any moment. Therefore, Shen Fei was in a great hurry.

After relaying the secrets he had uncovered on his recent trip to the relevant personnel on the walls of Yang City, Shen Fei didn’t exchange another word with anyone. Instead, he immediately arranged for Sun Yu and the members of the Heaven-Reaching Gang to prepare for an all-out assault on the Heaven-Reaching Tower Secret Realm.

But before heading to the Heaven-Reaching Tower, Shen Fei first changed direction and returned to his villa. His purpose for returning, of course, was for the special, unique item: the Black Spade A.

At that moment, with the full update of Version 4.8, he knew that his Black Spade A would solidify once more. Moreover, the Red Heart A, located far away in the Dragon Palace of the Sea Race at the very center of a special region in the Pacific Ocean, would also condense again at this time. Even the Square A, which might exist somewhere in history—perhaps in the Dinosaur Era—could also be solidifying.

WHOOSH!

Just as Shen Fei had guessed, upon teleporting back to his villa, he immediately saw the Black Spade A in the corner of his living room. The solidified portion of the Black Spade A already made up nine-tenths of its entire form. At the same time, due to the full update of Version 4.8, another single-use Black Spade A item had also formed. It was right next to the main body.

SWISH!

Seeing the new, single-use Black Spade A floating quietly in mid-air, Shen Fei didn’t hesitate. He immediately took the item and stored it away. This new item was very important to him. In the future, once he was done with all the urgent matters, he might be able to use this new, single-use Black Spade A to once again open a passage to the Dinosaur Era, enter it, and search for the possibly existing Square A.

"Alright!" he said. "You two, stand guard! When you have a moment, find Tang San and ask him that question! I’m heading into the Secret Realm to upgrade my Defense Towers!"

His inspection of the Black Spade A had been fruitful. Not only had he acquired a new single-use item, but the main body of the Black Spade A was also continuing to solidify smoothly. Shen Fei grabbed the item and spoke to No. 0 and Xiaohong, who were standing guard nearby. Then he turned and quickly departed.

WHOOSH!

After leaving his villa, the scene before him blurred, and Shen Fei appeared at the entrance of the Heaven-Reaching Tower Secret Realm, located in the very center of Qing City. Under Sun Yu’s leadership, the members of the Heaven-Reaching Gang had already assembled at the entrance, awaiting his arrival.

"Big Bro!"

"Big Bro!"

"Big Bro!"

Seeing Shen Fei appear, all the members of the Heaven-Reaching Gang bowed in greeting.

The inheritance of game abilities had already occurred six times. These members of the Heaven-Reaching Gang, who had inherited abilities from the same game as Shen Fei, had also acquired a wide variety of things. Moreover, the types and varieties of things they inherited were largely similar to Shen Fei’s. Although the quality of the items they inherited wasn’t as high as Shen Fei’s, in terms of quantity, they were about the same as him.

In addition to their essential Defense Towers, these Heaven-Reaching Gang members now also held various other things like pets, cities, equipment, and Gemstones. It was because of the existence of so many Heaven-Reaching Gang members that Shen Fei didn’t have to walk the path of his inherited abilities alone. He had many people to help him test and experiment with all sorts of combinations. Others had inherited more items from the game that Shen Fei could use, providing him with a steady supply.

"Good!" Shen Fei said, nodding to the Heaven-Reaching Gang members around him. He wasted no time, waving his hand toward the tower. "Let’s go in! Straight to the highest difficulty!"

Although the monster tide besieging Qing City had not yet ended, and the chaos across Blue Star—caused by the various new things that appeared after the sixth inheritance of game abilities—had not yet subsided, the inheritance had, after all, happened six times. Shen Fei believed that even without the Tower Masters of the Heaven-Reaching Gang, the other players in Qing City now had the strength to handle these matters.

Soon, they would be fighting NPCs and bosses whose intelligence was no weaker than—and perhaps even greater than—that of humans. The others had to step up as well. What came next was an all-out war, something Shen Fei couldn’t withstand alone.

WHOOSH!

Confident that leading a group of Tower Masters into the Secret Realm at this time wouldn’t cause any major issues, Shen Fei waved his hand. In an instant, the several hundred people standing before the entrance of the Heaven-Reaching Tower vanished without a trace.

WHOOSH!

The scene before him blurred again. Shen Fei saw that he was now leading several hundred people, standing on the first floor of the Heaven-Reaching Tower.

Previously, during the Version 4.7 update, all Secret Realms had undergone a wave of "evolution" and "adjustment" due to rule changes. All the Secret Realms were now differentiated by difficulty. The Heaven-Reaching Tower Secret Realm was located right in the center of Qing City. It was a special type of Secret Realm; if it wasn’t cleared, the remaining monsters would manifest in the real world, multiplied ten-thousand-fold. Therefore, after the Secret Realms were divided by difficulty, no one had ever attempted to clear the highest difficulty level of the Heaven-Reaching Tower.

Now, with Shen Fei’s arrival, this highest-level Secret Realm, which had never been entered before, was finally about to host its first battle.

"Let’s do this!" he declared, standing on the ground of the Heaven-Reaching Tower’s first floor.
