Chapter 1987: Chapter 1967:

Who knows if the group across from us has been cursed by bad luck, but less than ten minutes after they left, Di Jun found the hidden passage leading downwards. It was concealed so well that if Di Jun hadn’t discovered it directly, our group might have passed right by without noticing...

At that moment, Luo Qianqian felt a bit gleeful. Let those fools look down on our group? We’re just three freshmen. Although we may look like Yellow Class students, in reality, we were unwanted Heaven Class troublemakers, one of unknown origin who could probably be a freshman next year, and a graduate—an excellent one from the Inner Court at that. No matter how you look at it, we’re quite the odd combination.

However, after leaving the actual troublemakers behind, our luck started to change! Not only did we successfully find the underground passage, but we also discovered a small secret chamber filled with artifacts. Some had been weathered by time, while others withstood the test of the ages and still shone brilliantly.

"Wow, this vase is nice, Mo, grab it, it’ll be great for holding fruit for Shiliu when we get back." The vase was as tall as a person and still dazzling, with a simple and natural elegance. The best part? It was full of seeds with an unknown purpose, but whatever it was, we’ll take them all.

Luo Qianqian naturally used the Qiankun Bag that Mo gave her to stash away a heap of what looked like seeds. After all, there’s no point in holding back; if you like something, just say it. Why bother with such tedious mind games? We’re all on the same side here, no need to put on airs. Even if the entanglements don’t tire you out, watching them sure does.

Before long, Luo Qianqian noticed a corner of the room that seemed to have a bit of light.

She slowly walked over and, without hesitation, approached it directly.

After all, with Di Jun here, as long as she doesn’t die, she can revive at full health.

"Come over here, this thing looks embedded into the wall, there’s no gap!" Luo Qianqian exclaimed as she looked at the glowing stone in front of her, puzzled.

Hearing this, Mo immediately stepped forward, examined it curiously, then frowned: "This thing isn’t a Luminous Pearl."

Even though it was glowing, its light was somewhat dim, and its shape wasn’t perfectly round, more like a natural object.

"That must be why I was drawn here..." Di Jun suddenly gasped in disbelief, clearly shaken by the object.

"Do you recognize this?" Luo Qianqian asked, her curiosity piqued. There didn’t seem to be anything special about it, aside from glowing in the dark. But there are plenty of things that light up: Luminous Pearls, flashlights, glow sticks... any of those could shine.

"Wow, you’re telling me you don’t know?" Di Jun looked surprised at Luo Qianqian, seeing her shake her head, he proudly announced: "This is Mystery Light Stone."

"That’s not right." Long Tu glanced at Di Jun’s proud expression and shook his head.

Di Jun immediately rebutted: "It is Mystery Light Stone, it’s essential for my cultivation of Forbidden Techniques, how could I be mistaken?" His face showed certainty, as if he was ready to present a piece for Long Tu to see.

He was confident in his ’truth’ and was more than willing to discuss it thoroughly with Long Tu.

Long Tu calmly replied: "The accurate statement should be: ’You’re not entirely correct.’" Long Tu smiled slightly, turning to Luo Qianqian, Mo, and Huangfu Yihui, taking a deep breath: "If I’m not mistaken, this should be a Mystery Light Stone mine."

"Not mistaken?!" Di Jun felt a surge of frustration, such a significant discovery, and he said "if I’m not mistaken?"

If it weren’t for their longstanding brotherhood... and the fact that he couldn’t actually win a fight against Long Tu, he’d definitely want a showdown!

"I have Earth Attribute, there’s a thick aura behind this rack," Long Tu explained.

Di Jun rolled his eyes: "Isn’t everywhere underground full of earth? Honestly, your attribute seems the least useful here, doesn’t it?" He wasn’t being intentionally dismissive; the Mystery Light Stone meant a lot to him, even his parents wouldn’t joke about it in front of him!

To him, the Mystery Light Stone was far more important than elixirs or anything else.

After all, cultivating Light and Darkness Attributes inherently differs from other attributes, so it’s not particularly surprising.

"Dummy, just push it and verify, then you’ll know!" Seeing the excitement and restraint in Di Jun’s eyes, Long Tu wondered why he had such timid friends.

"Wow wow wow..." It took exhausting effort until the group finally managed to push the cabinet aside. Clearly, the cabinet wasn’t as simple as it appeared; its material seemed unlike wood, with a weight that could be believed to be solid gold.

After opening it, the blazing light dazzled Di Jun’s vision, causing him to kneel and pinch himself repeatedly, in a cycle of pained exclamations, silly smiles, cheers, disbelief, and pinching himself again.

"Wow wow wow, it’s all mine!!" Di Jun exuberantly claimed it, without anyone reminding him that it was a communal find. Judging by his expression, it was clear this item was truly important.

"You’re like a locust plague... not even leaving the cabinet behind." Watching Di Jun expand the ’secret chamber’ by triple its original size using a small shovel, leaving nothing behind...

Since finishing the cleanup, Di Jun had been in a dazed state, and it seemed impossible for him to snap out of it, leaving the others helplessly amused. Was it really such a big deal?

To Di Jun, the value of the Mystery Light Stone surpassed fame, fortune, and everything else; with it, he could heal without resting for three hours, or even use Forbidden Techniques.

Of course, using Forbidden Techniques was still more taxing than dying, even now. Forbidden Techniques were far more terrifying than Mo’s higher-level soul attacks. But the effects were definitely beyond extraordinary.

Even without using Forbidden Techniques, Di Jun with Mystery Light Stone was a world apart from his normal self.

Di Jun rubbed his hands excitedly, almost ready to dive immediately into secluded cultivation.

Luckily, he hadn’t lost all reason and knew if he slipped up now, the consequences could be dire.

"Let’s hurry and find more treasures, then get out of here quickly! Let’s go, go, go!" Di Jun shouted excitedly. If it weren’t for this environment, he would probably just dash off, ignoring everyone else’s words.

Luo Qianqian looked at Di Jun, feeling overwhelmed by his antics...
