Rebirth: Clinging to My Possessive Magnate
Chapter 1395: Childish
Chapter 1395: Chapter 1395: Childish
Since she was little, there have always been all sorts of men lining up to woo her.
Even without considering her background, just based on her looks, those men circled her like lapdogs.
She never thought she would encounter a man indifferent to her appearance.
Alright, she admits the woman has a good figure, but compared to her... well, they each have their strengths.
"Are you two here for tourism?" Isabella Chamberlain said with a smile, "It’s truly our honor you are staying at our family’s hotel."
Isabella casually mentioned one of her properties.
Sophie Wilson looked at the woman who was clearly after her husband, and she laughed, "Hey, sis, you’re the owner of this hotel?"
Being called "sis" by Sophie made Isabella feel awkward; they seemed around the same age, so why was she called sister?
But Isabella still smiled and answered, "Yes."
"So, sis, what do you want from my husband?" Sophie asked, quickly adding, "I don’t mean anything by it. It’s just a habit to ask."
"A habit?" Isabella didn’t catch on, so she asked instinctively.
"Sis, look at my husband, he’s young, handsome, and successful, so lots of women throw themselves at him, even willing to take jobs without payment, so I have to be cautious," Sophie sighed as if she was really troubled.
Isabella felt a pang in her chest, this woman was too nasty insinuating she was in that line of business?
"You really do joke, little sister," Isabella said, covering her red lips with one hand, laughing.
"Hmm, I never joke with strangers," Sophie looked at Isabella with a half-smile.
"I think you misunderstood, little sister. I actually came to congratulate you," Isabella said with a smile, "because you won our hotel’s grand prize, meaning your stay here is completely free."
"Wow, that’s amazing!" Sophie cheered with surprise, "Honey, this way we’ll save money!"
Charles Seymour could only nod in agreement with Sophie.
He knew that Sophie was displeased with the woman.
"Please feel free to stay here, whatever you eat is on the house," Isabella said cheerfully, "I won’t disturb your meal."
With that, she maintained her perfect smile and gracefully left.
Sophie excitedly pulled Charles’ arm saying, "Honey, this time we don’t have to spend money, we save a bit, can we go travel one more time?"
"Hmm." Charles nodded.
Not far away, Isabella inwardly sneered, even travel requires such saving, looks like their standard of living isn’t very high.
Just a hint of money.
With this understanding, Isabella left, not noticing the mischievous smile in Sophie’s eyes.
"Hey, Mr. Seymour, she’s quite clever, huh," Sophie whispered, leaning on Charles, speaking in a low voice only they could hear, "Using this prize excuse to counter my words, pretending her intentions were so pure."
"But I’m no fool, don’t think I can’t see the way she looks at you?" Sophie snorted coldly.
Playing this game in front of her, is that childish or what?
