Chapter 459 - 390: Surprise and Scare

In the car, Bai Yue, who had just been joking around with Wu Yun, felt the smile freeze on her face. "They all know?" she asked. "Are you by yourself right now?"

Bai Jun quickly signaled for the few people on the sofa to be quiet. He said with a laugh, "I’m by myself. Uncle and Auntie already know you and Wu Yun are dating! They were just grilling me for details! I swear I didn’t say a thing!"

"But from the way Uncle was talking, it sounds like he knows Wu Yun!"

The four people on the sofa all leaned forward, knowing the main event was about to begin.

"Yeah, he does! It’s just that Wu Yun wasn’t sure how to approach my dad about us, so he kept telling me not to say anything!"

Wu Yun nodded. "Go ahead and call! And while you’re at it, help explain things for me!"

Wu Yun stroked Bai Yue’s long hair as he watched her dial her mom’s number.

The call didn’t involve as many questions as she had imagined. Qiu Yue just reminded her not to stay out too late, to be safe, and to bring Wu Yun over tomorrow.

"Hmph! Knowing my mom, they’re definitely planning something big! You can fend for yourself tomorrow! And if you don’t satisfy me tonight, don’t even think about me helping you!" Bai Yue huffed, tilting her chin up.

Wu Yun gave a sly grin, leaned close to Bai Yue’s ear, and whispered, "In that case, you’d better drink a lot of water tonight!"

Bai Yue froze for a second, then it dawned on her. "Ah! I’m gonna kill you, you pervert!"

It had been a long time since Bai Yue had gone shopping, and with Wu Yun by her side, her desire to shop was completely unleashed. Bai Yue ended up dragging him through practically all of Wangfujing.
