Everyone at home has gone to work. After Lv Beiguang got off the car, the Red Army helped move the luggage.

"Auntie, you go and look after your sister-in-law, I’ll handle this."

Yang Xiuqin felt a bit embarrassed, she had become an "auntie" now.

"Beiguang, can’t we go back to the brewery to live?"

"Xiuxiu, it’s better to stay at home, it’s good for the children here."

"I don’t want to stay here. At the brewery, I can still help you."

"No need. If you really don’t want to stay here, we can move after the wheat harvest."

This made Yang Xiuqin happy. She really felt embarrassed. She’s a few years older than Guodong, and her two children are younger than Lv Beiguang’s grandchildren.

Actually, Lv Beiguang had already tried to persuade her in the car, but it clearly had no effect.

The Red Army hurriedly drove the tractor to the field to transport the wheat back.

Lv Beiguang and his wife put the two children in the stroller and started to organize the luggage together.

"Jing Chu and the others must have tidied up, Xiuxiu, I have to go to work tomorrow too."

"Yes, let Li Xue stay at home to watch the kids, I want to go too." She’s capable.

Lv Beiguang shook his head, "No need, you better stay at home and look after Ruoyan and the others, I’ll go."

Jing Chen heard the commotion and ran back with Er Bao.

"Grandpa, Grandpa, you’re back."

"Yes, Jing Chen, you and Er Bao have grown taller."

Children love being recognized and praised by adults, it proves they’re growing up.

"Grandpa. Is this little brother?"

Yang Xiuqin’s face turned red instantly.

Lv Beiguang laughed, "This isn’t a brother, this is an uncle and aunt."

"Little uncle, little aunt? Like Uncle Er Bao?"

"Yes, just like Er Bao, they’re uncles. Jing Chen, this is your Grandma Yang."

Jing Chen obediently greeted the elders, though his mind was on the two little kids in the stroller. The three of them looked about 40% alike.

Yang Xiuqin took out some dried fruits from her hometown for Jing Chen and Er Bao to eat.

They let the four children play in the yard. She went to distribute the gifts she brought for everyone.

"Xiuxiu, I’m going to the fields too."

"Yes, I’ll be fine at home."

Lv Beiguang changed clothes and went to the fields. Li Yungui saw his in-laws coming over and quickly went over, "How is it?"

"Brought home their mother and two kids. We got a certificate at Xiuxiu’s hometown."

"That’s good." Li Yungui looked at his in-laws, they really looked young.

Lv Beiguang also joined the group loading the carts.

By the evening, the four of them returned home, and dinner was already prepared. Jing Chen and Er Bao had stayed at home with Yang Xiuqin.

Everyone sat down, "Guodong, Xue, Jing Chu, from now on, just call her Aunt Yang."

The three of them nodded and smiled, and Yang Xiuqin felt much more relaxed.

"Dad, Aunt Yang. The younger brother and sister look really good." Jing Chu said as she picked up Ruoyan, teasing her as she spoke.

"Aunt Yang, what are their names?"

"Jing Chu, you’re holding Ruoyan, and the brother is Yiqing."

"Good names. Ruoyan, little sister, you’re beautiful."

Lv Beiguang called everyone to eat. After a long day, it was good to have dinner and then each person could wash up and go to sleep.

Old Yang came to find his second son, as it was sleeping time, and he hadn’t returned home yet.

"Are you back?"

"Yes, Old Yang, look at my daughter and son."

"You like to show off, didn’t see you were that kind of person."

"I, Lv Beiguang, have two daughters."

"Tsk, showing off. Let’s finish the work and then talk, you guys rest up, we’re heading back." In the end, Jing Chen still left together with them.

Old Yang held Zhao Xiaoli at night, "Lv Beiguang’s little girl is really beautiful."

"Uncle Lv looks good."

"That’s true." Old Yang was quite envious of those who had daughters.

It took ten days for the wheat harvest, and the second planting was completed on the same day, with four tractors heading out to the fields again.

At dinner, Lv Family was eating, "Beiguang, I’ll go with you to the brewery tomorrow." Yang Xiuqin felt quite embarrassed, as she had just been at home watching the kids and cooking during the wheat harvest.

"You should stay home and watch the kids. We can talk about it once they’re grown."

"Dad, Aunt Yang, I can help with the kids." Li Xue didn’t have much work after the wheat harvest, and she could take care of the household.

"Beiguang, I just need to come back on time to feed the kids."

"Alright then. We’ll head next door after dinner." Everyone was busy with the wheat harvest, only Wei Kaiyun and the others came to see the kids; tomorrow there would be no work in the fields, so they could stay longer.

Jiang Xinyu saw Lv Beiguang pushing the kids over and smiled as she picked up Ruoyan.

"Little beauty, coming to see Aunt Jiang?"

"Aunt Jiang, you won’t stop liking me now that you have a sister, will you?" Jing Chu asked nervously. No one could replace Jiang Xinyu in her heart.

Jiang Feifei laughed. "Sister Jing Chu, I’ve outgrown competing for favor, and you’re still like this?"

Jiang Tingting nodded beside her sister.

Everyone burst into laughter. Jing Chu didn’t feel embarrassed at all.

"Even when I’m seventy or eighty, I’ll still be like this."

The men sat on one side talking about the brewery matters, while Jiang Xinyu and Yang Xiuqin talked about the kids.

At that moment, Yang Zhongyi came in.

"Why are you here at this time?"

"Brother Wei, Brother Yang, I’m leaving tomorrow, and I don’t know how many years I’ll be gone. Please take good care of my wife."

All the adults in the yard were stunned.

"Take care of yourself, you’re someone with a family and children now." Wei Kaiyun advised him.

"Yes, I know, although they’re living well, if anything happens, they’ll come to find you."

Old Yang patted Yang Zhongyi on the shoulder, "Go without worries." This small matter could be handled, the Tao Family had the power, and wouldn’t come unless it was a significant issue.

Yang Zhongyi nodded, and as he left, he took one last look at Jing Chu holding the child. Now, it wasn’t as heart-wrenching as before.

This kind of thing wasn’t suitable for discussion, so they went back to their previous conversations, but everyone’s mood was heavy.

Yang Zhongyi held Tao YanZhen, having exchanged many words already. Now, silence spoke louder than words.

The next day at four o’clock, Yang Zhongyi got up cautiously. Looking at his sleeping wife, he resolutely left.

In the days afterward, Wang Menglin would often bring her two sons over to keep her cousin and cousin-in-law company. She was worried Xiao Zhen would be upset.

"Your brother-in-law probably has to go too."

They all came from families like this, but Liu Tongtong was different. She grew up at her grandmother’s and hadn’t been exposed to these things. She was really worried.

She didn’t dare to show it, fearing her two younger sisters would feel burdened, especially Xiao Zhen, who wasn’t even three months along yet, still unstable.

The two sisters understood this. They appreciated it. "Sister-in-law, we’re fine. We’re used to it."
