Zhao Xiaoli also laughed, "I’m speaking the truth."

"You, luckily you’re calm now, but you really need to use your brain. Actually, university is like a small society with all sorts of people; you have to be careful."

"I know, I can only talk more at home; outside, who wants to bother with them? I have a husband and children now, no time for that."

The two chatted while continuing their work.

Jing Chu and Li Xue stayed aside to help, and they also heard Jiang Xinyu’s words, keeping them in mind.

At noon, there were directly three tables, two for men, one for women.

Yang Run Tai was quite unwilling to be separated from Feifei. But he didn’t dare show it.

"Uncle Wei, shall we eat out tonight? Hongjun and the others are coming, and I need to treat them to a meal."

Wei Kaiyun didn’t speak, but looked at Hongjun.

Li Hongjun smiled, "Thanks, He Run, but you don’t need to treat us. Just take us to see the school gate; there are ten plus days before school starts, and we need to check the entrance."

"That’s not a problem. But I still want to treat you to a meal. Let’s go to Shuanrou City; they have small pots, each person gets one, and we can sit at the same table."

Cheng Lin and Hongling had been wanting to try Shuanrou City for a long time, so they smiled, waiting for the final decision.

In the end, Chaoyang agreed. The evening was set for Shuanrou City.

In the afternoon, Han Xiangjun and his son came over. It was another round of warmth.

After all, Jianbin lived in Li Family Village for over ten years; how many decades does one have in a lifetime?

Yang Run Tai listened, sitting aside, watching the little girl being so close to Jianbin, feeling a bit jealous inside.

But he didn’t dare show it.

The soon-to-be college students agreed. Tomorrow, they would go in a group to stroll to the university entrance.

"There aren’t enough bicycles at home," Shi Jing said.

"No problem, I’ll find some," Yang Run Tai said.

Listening to their plan, the little ones also wanted to go.

"Sis, we want to go too," Tingting said, holding Jiang Feifei’s hand and acting cute.

"Sure, then tomorrow, let’s take the bus; it will just be a bit more walking."

Still, Han Xiangjun couldn’t help but interject, "Those not yet in university, better go out with me tomorrow to have fun."

The seven little ones certainly didn’t agree; going out with Uncle Han wasn’t enticing anymore.

Finally decided that Wei Kaiyun, Old Yang, and Han Xiangjun would join the group. After all, there were too many kids.

Thus, Chenghe could only postpone his visit to Liu Xuefa.

Mostly, the little ones were even more excited and longed for the trip.

Han Xiangjun teased, "You’re all looking forward to it, but if you don’t get into university, it’ll be a joke."

Shi Xian smiled, "Uncle Han, do you think that’s possible? I can’t enroll? I might not be the top scorer, but getting into college is nothing."

Wei Kaiyun glared at his youngest son, "Where does your confidence come from?"

"I’m a naturally confident person, okay?"

Feifei gave a thumbs up, "Shi Xian, if the wall falls, I won’t support it, but I’ll support you!"

Shi Jing laughed heartily and gave his little brother a thumbs up too.

Jiang Xinyu watched her youngest son’s arrogant demeanor and was speechless. She wondered how he developed such an extroverted character when she and Wei Kaiyun were both low-key people.

"Brother Shi Xian, can’t you show some promise and become a top scorer? If you do, I’ll spend all my saved pocket money on gifts for you."

Ruoyan gave Shi Xian a disapproving look; he had no ambition.

"Little Yan Yan, can’t you also show some promise? Why don’t you become the top scorer, and then I’ll be at your service for a year?"

Lv Ruoyan disapprovingly glanced at Shi Xian again, "I’m very self-aware."

Listening to the children bicker, Jiang Xinyu suddenly felt like she was getting old.

In the evening, Shang Zhenkun didn’t go along, so Jiang Xinyu stayed behind as well. They ate light porridge and played chess together. After watching Shang Zhenkun retire, Jiang Xinyu returned to her room.

Meanwhile, the group directly booked a private room with two large tables, one for women and children, the others at the second table.

Yang Run Tai was frustrated again, not being with his little girl.

But seeing her smiling brightly, he suddenly felt that watching her from afar wasn’t bad.

This group ate half a lamb. In the end, Yang Run Tai even ordered two roasted lamb legs.

Cheng Lin felt satisfied, "This hotpot lamb is really delicious."

"Next time, I’ll invite you here to eat again."

Cheng Lin was definitely willing; as long as it was delicious, he was game.

After filling up, everyone returned to their respective homes. Yang Run Tai followed Shi Xian, chatting as they walked.

"Brother Yang, tomorrow you need to treat me to dumplings."

"No problem, you can eat whatever you want."

Yang Run Tai chatted with Shi Xian while watching the little girl whispering and laughing with her sister ahead. Wei Kaiyun was beside his daughters in a protective manner that was apparent.

Returning to the Wei Family, Yang Run Tai finally went home, biking all the way while finding it amusing.

With all his experience, he never thought he’d fall so deeply for a little girl. Even he found it incredible.

They agreed to meet at the bus station near the Wei Family. So, the next morning, Yang Run Tai biked over early and had breakfast at the Wei Family.

However, he didn’t come empty-handed; he brought dumplings for Shi Xian, and they were raw ones.

Shi Xian was delighted. Wei Kaiyun shook his head at his son’s demeanor and went out to buy some dough sticks, also buying soy milk for Shang Zhenkun.

Jianbin also came to have breakfast. They brought meat buns, which Shi Xian liked.

Old Yang and his family only showed up with their mouths empty-handed, and Zhao Xiaoli left her daughter Yang Fanxing with Jiang Xinyu.

After everyone finished breakfast and packed up, they set off to the bus station.

When they arrived, Chaoyang and the others were already there.

"Sister Jing Chu, why are you so early?"

"We just got here a while ago."

"Let’s go to Capital University first."

"Sis, did you bring the keys?"

Jiang Xinyu smiled and nodded, "I brought them, why do you want to go there? It’s so cold."

"Uncle Han, did you prepare my university gift?" Shi Xian asked Han Xiangjun with a grin.

Among all the children, Han Xiangjun’s favorite was Feifei; the second was Shi Xian. It was a matter of fate; they were particularly close.

"How could you be left out?"

Shi Xian was satisfied. Brother and sister had gifts, and Uncle Han shouldn’t forget his.

They took a bus to the gate of Capital University. Yang Run Tai negotiated with the guard, and the group of twenty-two managed to enter the campus.
