Chapter 816: Rex Family, Origins. Part-1.

Year 2072, Winter.

Red Orc Tribe, Near Human Empire’s Borders.

In a small secluded orc village, the red orc tribe lived in peace and leisure.

Their usual daily routine involved invading nearby human settlements across the border, kidnapping humans for food, and destroying those settlements for entertainment.

To orcs, humans had always been just a lowly race that could be easily bullied and destroyed at will.

Kidnapping men for food and women for reproduction were normal for the Orcs; moreover, with their race being violence-loving, each of them had a powerful physique.

The red orc tribe itself had an S-ranker in charge!

Although the Orc race was divided into many tribes and smaller clans, the number of S-rankers among them was much higher; even demons didn’t dare recklessly mess with them, let alone others.

Unfortunately, everything was about to change in a single day.

During one stormy night, a group of red orcs was walking on the snow-covered ground and making its way back to the tribe while dragging a massive cage filled with humans behind them with ropes.

The group had just destroyed a small city, and their tribe leader had even killed a strong magician of the human race right in front of thousands of humans!

The entire city was razed to the ground; those who could not be transported were massacred or eaten alive on the spot, while the rest were stuffed into a cage and escorted back to the tribe.

"Oi! Hurry up! The snow storm is getting more and more dangerous; we need to get back to the tribe as soon as possible!"

"Chief Behram will be very unhappy if we delay too much..."

While the orcs were chatting with each other, the humans inside the cage had all but gone silent by now.

Despair had taken root in their hearts, and none of them had the energy left to even resist.

Their homes were destroyed; their loved ones were eaten alive right in front of them, and there was no hope of escaping.

Even the powerful guardian of the city, Magician Freya, had been killed by the powerful Orc chief to protect the thousands of people.

Due to her sacrifice, thousands of people managed to evacuate on time; unfortunately, they were not lucky enough to be a part of that evacuating group.

They were caught by the Orc and were being treated worse than worms!

Even the famous and powerful magician Freya could not stop the orc; there was no way for them to resist. By now they all knew that they were going to die a horrible death.

Several of the people had actually already died due to the freezing cold of this place, and some had even committed suic*de voluntarily to protect themselves from torture.

Only one young man with dark red hair and eyes still had some light of hope left in his eyes among the entire group.

The red-haired young man looked at the adults around him who were crying or cursing their bad luck with a look of disgust on his face.

’Hmph, all these people are pathetic! I really don’t get it why people fear death so much!’

’What if we are caught by the Orc... this is not bad luck, this is good luck! I can use this rare opportunity to confront the powerful Orc chief head on!’

’Even if I die, I will die standing like a proud warrior!’

While the young man was busy thinking about various strategies, the orc group finally arrived at the tribe and passed the walls smoothly.

Now that they were inside an Orc tribe’s village, all people in the cage knew that their fate was already sealed.

There was no way out now, and there was nowhere to run; their deaths were certain.

This realization drove many of them deeper into the abyss of despair, but the red-haired young man didn’t feel the slightest bit of fear at all.

Instead, a grin of excitement appeared on his face when the orc escorted the cage straight to the Orc Chief, who was sitting on a high platform and enjoying a victory festival.

"FOOOLS!!! WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG!!!?"

The aura of the Orc chief was so strong that the other orcs were suppressed to the point that they all knelt down on the ground and started begging for mercy.

"Spare us, Lord Chief! A snowstorm hindered our journey, and the thick snow covering the ground delayed us.

"Please forgive us, Lord Chief!"

Seeing the subordinates shiver in fright from his aura and beg for mercy, Behram smirked inwardly, glanced at the cage filled with humans, and felt satisfied.

"Forget it, bring a bowl and make a human soup for me; I can’t wait to taste human blood any longer!"

Hearing the orc chief’s words, the humans in the cage became terrified and started begging for mercy, but the orcs paid it all no mind.

The cage was opened, and many of the humans tried to run but were caught one by one and chopped into pieces on the spot before being thrown straight into a giant boiling pot of oil!

Those who didn’t try to run suffered an even worse fate! They got thrown in the boiling pot of oil while still alive!

The scene was so horrific that people who watched it almost died from fright and horror.

"NOOOO... PLEASE LET ME GO!!! PLEASEEE!!! AHHH!!!!"

"I HAVE A DAUGHTER PLEASE LET ME GO PLEASE... AHHHH!!!!"

"AHHHHH!!! AHHHH!!! AHHHH!!!!! IT HURTS... HELP ME!!! AHHHH IT’S BURNING!!! AHHHHH!!!"

Screams of terror and pain rang out as humans screamed at the top of their lungs, but those screams of terror were nothing but pleasant music to the ears of the Orc race.

Seeing all this, the dark-haired young man neither ran neither sat idle; he walked out of the cage on his own and stared straight into the eyes of the Orc Chief Behram and declared loudly,

"Oi fatso! I challenge you to a duel!!"

The words of the young man were so shocking that orcs that were watching this scene could not help but stare at the young man with their wide eyes!
