"Oi Fatso! I challenge you to a duel!"

The daring words of the young man echoed in the area, creating a pin-drop silence.

The orcs that were originally gloating at the misfortune of the pathetic humans went silent in shock, and those who were originally indifferent to the entire situation looked at the chief as if to assess his next move.

Some of the low-rank orc warriors nearby even stepped away from the young man, fearing that the chief would hit them too in anger.

"YOU!!! AN ANT LIKE YOU DARES TO INSULT ME!!!? YOU ARE COURTING DEATH!!!"

The tribe chief was an S-rank warrior who was the strongest of his tribe and took great pride in his strength!

The position of the tribe chief depended on one’s personal strength and reputation; if someone tarnished the chief’s reputation and the chief did not retaliate, he would lose his prestige among the tribe members and would no longer be qualified to rule the tribe!

The young man’s challenge for a duel was a massive insult to his power and authority!

If not for the fact that the orc race revered courage and strength and considered ’Duels’ to be a sacred ritual, the young man would have already been killed off by Behram on the spot!

"FINE!! ALTHOUGH YOU ARE A PUNY ANT!! YOU HAVE COURAGE! A PROUD WARRIOR NEVER DECLINES AN INVITATION FOR A DUEL!!"

The tribe chief threw away the massive jug of wine in his hand, got up from his seat of honor, and walked down to confront the offender.

The orcs nearby all looked at each other, but no one raised an objection, and they all hurriedly backed away to open up an empty space for the two.

"You kid aren’t even an awakener; you are just a puny ordinary human. Yet you dare to challenge an S-ranker with your meager strength?"

Hearing that question, the red-haired young man smirked as he replied in a calm voice without feeling the least bit intimidated by Behram’s aura.

"What does it matter if I am not as good as you... I have already been captured by your soldiers; the only way out for me is death."

"And I absolutely refuse to die a coward’s death! If I am going to die, I would prefer to die in battle!"

"Death, strength, power difference? I don’t care about all that! Come at me like a man if you have guts!"

With that said, the red-haired young man took a clumsy combat stance and declared loudly,

"I, Farim Melok, hereby challenge the leader of the Red Orc tribe to a duel!"

Hearing young Farim’s words, the leader of the red orc tribe suddenly sobered up as the effects of the alcohol dissipated from his mind in an instant.

Looking at that fearless expression and that indomitable will to battle to death surrounding Farim’s body, a look of surprise appeared on the chief’s face.

"A powerless person like you has shown the courage by challenging me despite the power difference between us... it would be rude of me to not accept your challenge."

"I, Behram, the strongest warrior and the leader of the Red Orc tribe, accept your challenge!"

"To honor your courage, I shall bestow upon you a quick, painless death, ’Warrior’ Farim Melok."

Behram no longer dared to disrespect the other party, and even the way he looked at Farim changed from disgust to awe.

The orc race revered people that had extraordinary strength and courage, regardless of what race they were from.

Taking his combat stance, Behram raised his fist and decided to finish Farim in a single attack.

[Snow Monster Martial Art: Descending Dragon Fist!]

As the dragon had descended from the sky, the power contained in Behram’s fist was so immense that just air pressure from it was enough to turn Farim into meat paste.

Standing in front of that descending fist, Farim could feel ’Death’ approaching him at an incredible speed.

That single fist was strong enough to shatter a mountain and blow away tornadoes!

Farim, an ordinary person, was nothing more than an ant in front of its immense power!

’So, is this how I die? It seems quite peaceful and beautiful...’

It was as if time were running in slow motion; Farim could see that fist descend on him in slow motion, but his body could not move fast enough to dodge that powerful incoming attack.

By that point, Farim knew he was dead for sure, but instead of feeling fear, Farim only felt calm and peaceful in his heart as if he had no reason to be concerned!

He even felt that the punch and that combat posture were beautiful to look at.

*BOOOOOM!!!!*

A massive explosion occurred and blew away the nearby orcs far away!

A shockwave powerful enough to make the outer walls of the village tremble spread out in all directions, and even the ground cracked open, revealing the solid stone layer beneath.

The power of that attack was immense, and by now all the orcs were sure that the little kid had likely been blown away into dust by that attack.

Even the humans that were still alive looked at this scene in despair from afar.

But to everyone’s surprise, when the dust settled down, they noticed that Farim was still standing upright with a calm look on his face.

At some point, a golden-haired man had appeared in the arena and had blocked Behram’s fist with a single finger of his left hand.

The bluish cape hanging behind the golden-haired man’s back swayed in the air as the words written in gold upon it shone under the reflection of the torches nearby.

[The Fated Miracle.]

Only three words were written on that cape, but they carried immense power within them.

"To think I would find you here out of all places... I have been looking for you for a long time, Farim Melok!"

The man that had appeared out of nowhere was none other than the famous ’Hero’ of the human empire, Allen Von Reinhart!

And for some reason, when he mentioned Farim’s name, his tone seemed to be filled with excitement as if he had found a golden treasure chest!
