Chapter 830: The Creation of Elemental Sword Art. Part-6.

"How can you do this to me? This is utter cruelty... you selfishly tortured me than saved my life without giving me any choice in the matter..."

"You are the worst kind of person I have ever seen in my life... I curse you, Daniel; I hope you will be tortured and slaughtered like a pig in hell! Urgh... sob..."

Tears appeared in Zain’s eyes as he collapsed on the floor while clutching his head and violently scratching his entire body in extreme irritation and discomfort!

"Why does this keep happening to me!? Sob.. sob... why... just kill me.... Just kill me... sob... sob..."

Just when Zain’s mind was about to collapse from tremendous burden, the box he was carrying suddenly lit up.

The book surrounded by a multicolored aura burst out of the box, and the hundreds of research papers that were stored inside Daniels space ring also flew out on their own.

Mana flowed in the air like a gentle breeze, and the hundreds of research papers rushed towards the mysterious book and merged with it with a burst of golden light.

The flow of mana became more and more denser as the golden glow around the book slowly faded away into nothingness.

The book flew to the center of the room and began to float there in one position as if it had become fixed in midair.

Before Zain could realize what was going on, a pleasant unknown voice rang out in his mind.

[Ding! Congratulations! You have become one of the first few people in the world who has helped the ’Origin’ craft a new ’Unique’ skill book!]

[Ding! You have achieved a feat that only a few daring people have achieved in this universe! You have been granted early awakening privilege and an opportunity to awaken a rare class!!]

[Ding! Congratulations! Your awakening has been successful!]

[Ding! Due to your high affinity for darkness elementals, you have awakened the rare class ’Necromancer!’]

A tremendous amount of mana rushed straight inside Zain’s body and reforged his fragile body from inside out!

The shadows and darkness inside the dimly lit room trembled in excitement, as if they were happy that a new ruler of the ’Darkness’ element was about to be born into this world!

[Ding! Due to assisting in creation of the ’Elemental Sword Art,’ you have been granted the blessing of the ’World,’ and you have been granted the legendary skill ’Soul Resonance’!]

[Ding! The ’Elemental Sword Art’ has decided to stay in this place to wait for a worthy individual to come!]

Every bit of energy in the dimly lit room became a source of nutrition for Zain, and the dead body of Professor Daniel suddenly rotted away until only its skeleton was left intact.

The skeleton suddenly stood up and bowed toward its newly awakened master, with devotion generated from the very bottom of its soul!

Zain slowly opened his eyes and looked at his own hands with a look of shock on his face.

He could feel tremendous power and energy flow through these originally weak arms.

Before awakening, Zain couldn’t even run for a few seconds at full speed to escape, but now he felt like he could kill an adult human with one punch and could run endlessly at full speed for days!

’This is insane...’

Looking at the skeleton bowing towards him, Zain felt a bit reluctant and disgusted in his heart, but then his ’soul resonance’ activated, calming his mind and soul automatically, giving him extra rational thinking capabilities.

’I feel like I have gained tremendous amount of self-confidence, and my spirit has become more resilient...’

A happy smile appeared on Zain’s face as he respectfully bowed towards the skill book before retreating from the place.

The skill seemed to be rejecting him and pushing him away with its mana, which meant it clearly did not think that Zain was worthy of learning it.

The skill book had changed his life and given him a new chance at living, so Zain did not want to offend it; thus, he immediately looked for a way out, opened the wooden door of the dimly lit room, and walked out decisively!

Walking out of the room, Zain found a staircase leading upwards, so he took it and chose to leave the place entirely.

At the exit, a massive boulder was blocking the path, but before Zain could think of pushing it aside, the boulder moved on its own and opened a way out for Zain as if it had sensed his presence.

Walking out of the mysterious unknown place, Zain found himself standing in the middle of a forest, and a dense magical aura in the area made him feel refreshed.

A gentle breeze hit his face, and bright sunlight fell on his body for the first time in several days after escaping the hellish underground research facility.

’Where am I? Sigh... it seems the teleportation circle sent me to a completely random place...’

Shaking his head, Zain rubbed his empty stomach, which was protesting for food.

’I need to find food... but first...’

Ignoring the protests of his stomach, Zain glanced at the skeleton following behind him like an obedient servant and fell into contemplation.

’If I walked into a settlement with this fellow hanging around with me... I will surely be treated like a monster and will either be imprisoned or killed on the spot.’

Zain sighed, and he waved his hand and mentally issued an order to the skeleton to dig itself a grave.

At Zain’s order, the skeleton grabbed some random stones to start digging and dug itself a small pit, then it broke its own bones to fit itself inside the small pit and started covering its own body with dirt.

Soon, the skeleton was buried in soil completely.

’Although he was a bad person, he saved my life so I will not torture his dead body and use him to do my bidding. Just go ahead and rest peacefully, pass into the afterlife, and face your sins...’

With a determined look on his face, Zain broke the connection between him and the skeleton, causing the skeleton to completely lose its ability to move and its soul to pass away into the afterlife.

Zain stood at the place for a long while before sighing deeply and leaving in search of nearby settlements and food.

What Zain didn’t know was that the ’Elemental Sword Art’ he had left behind would fall into the hands of a certain ’Anomaly’ in the future and would be used to help stabilize the world.

Technically, the hard work of Professor Daniel and the other dark elves would indeed bear fruit in the future, albeit a bit late.
