Chapter 831: Ancestor of the Flash Family.

After wandering in the dark and gloomy forest for more than a month, Zain finally managed to find his way out.

Looking at the asphalt road, Zain almost burst into tears as he was truly glad from the very bottom of his heart to find civilization.

’Urgh, wandering the dark forest for so long really took a major mental toll on me... but thankfully, I have now found a well-maintained road; if I walk along it, I am bound to find a settlement sooner or later!’

’The only problem is that I am actually dressed like a beggar so it might be difficult to enter the city...’

Although Zain had managed to survive by eating wild fruits and hunting a few rabbits in the forest, his already torn clothes had become even more damaged due to all that hunting and wandering through all that dense foliage.

Zain knew that his journey from here on would be filled with difficulties, as his controversial powers would surely upset many people and bring certain disasters to him.

But Zain wanted to live where he would be free to do as his heart pleased, and he didn’t want to confine his powers in a cage just to blend into society.

’Perhaps I should find the awakener’s association building first and register myself as a new awakener first to get license for raiding dungeons...’

’Through dungeon raids, I can shake off the shackles of poverty and if I do solo raids, I should be able to hide my unique powers...’

Zain was young and uneducated, but he was no fool; even he knew the importance of keeping a low profile to avoid unwanted danger.

Just when Zain was busy contemplating the secrets of the universe in his mind, a sudden unfamiliar voice rang out in his ears and jolted him out of his daze instantly.

Zain jumped back in surprise when he suddenly noticed that an unknown person had appeared beside him at some point without him even noticing the other party’s presence!

Albeit a bit late, Zain hurriedly assumed a boxing stance to confront the opponent, but before he could completely assume the stance, he tripped on a small rock placed at the side of the road and almost fell down.

"BAHAHAHA!!! You are one funny fellow! If Farim were here and saw your faulty stance, he would have spat on you in disgust, thinking that you were mocking martial artists on purpose with that lousy technique."

The unknown person stretched out his hand and caught Zain’s arm, preventing him from falling down after tripping himself.

"Tha-thank you... Uh... who are you... wait... those golden hair and eyes! Could it be-"

Before Zain could complete his sentence, the golden-haired man nodded his head and replied with a gentle smile on his handsome face.

"Yes, you have guessed it right. I am Allen von Reinhart! A Humble Adventurer! It’s nice to meet you, Zain Dred! I have been looking forward to this meeting for a long time!"

Zain’s eyes widened in shock as he felt overwhelmed in his heart.

As a human being himself, Zain had heard many stories and legends about Allen’s various achievements in the recent times.

Allen was being considered the ’savior’ and the ’Hero’ of the entire human race.

Even a foreigner like Zain had heard about how Allen had single-handedly unified the entire human empire and had established the Awakener’s Association to regulate the various awakener guilds across the nation.

Even the mad researchers had mentioned that on Allen’s proposal, the Dark Elves, Orcs, and even the Elves from the Elven Empire were thinking about creating their own association branches that would be interconnected with the human empire’s branch!

This was a project that would bring all these nations’ awakeners even closer to each other and would boost cooperation to a new level!

The allied armies would gain extra advantages against the demon armies with this move!

"This... you... how come... no... wait... How do you know my full name? uh... Sir Allen... no, I-I mean uh..."

Suddenly encountering one of the most influential people in the world out of nowhere on a random roadside, Zain could not adapt to the situation at all, and he stuttered like crazy as if his mental system had gone haywire.

"Ah, that? Don’t worry about it. As someone blessed with the favor of the heavens, it’s easy for me to find people’s names."

"By the way, I came here this time because I want to recruit you into my team. I know that you have awakened a ’Rare’ class called ’Necromancer.’"

"My team has healers and single-target damage dealers but we are severely lacking someone who can do operations at a massive scale and can command armies to wreak havoc among the demon legions..."

"I am quite sure that once you grow up, you will become the greatest nightmare for the demon legions with your undead armies’ help! So, I want to ask you to join me in my great cause."

Allen’s golden hair shone brightly under the morning sunlight, and it seemed as if a halo of golden aura were shining around him.

Zain, who had already lost his home and everything else, was completely mesmerized by Allen’s offer.

Accepting Allen’s offer meant that all his previous problems like worries about the exposure of his powers and the threat to life due to malicious people would all be erased!

In the future, he can openly show his power, improve himself, seek guidance from the best of the best teachers, and even fight for a better cause!

Daniel had asked Zain to use his powers to make the world a better place, and this completely aligned with Allen’s motives.

Although Zain wasn’t indebted to Daniel or anything, who didn’t want to be a knight in shining armor and fight for honor, fame, and glory!

With his current powers, it was really possible to aim for great fame and glory!

"I accept your offer... Although I am not sure if I will be able to meet your expectations, I will give it my best shot!"

Hearing Zain’s words, the smile on Allen’s face widened, and he immediately patted Zain’s shoulders.

"Good! You might not know it yet, but you have made the best possible choice of your life just now!"

"From now on, you are officially the fifth and the final member of the ’First Golden Generation’ of the human race! In the future, people will celebrate your name just like they do mine!"

"But of course, you have to work hard and make sure that you manage to keep up with the rest of your teammates!"

After some more words of motivation, Allen brought Zain to the Great Freya academy right away and dropped him in the principal’s office for Ivan to take care of.

Then while ignoring Ivan’s frustrated complaints, he left just as carefreely as he had come.

Although Ivan complained in front of Allen, his attitude towards Zain was extremely kind.

Zain was soon assigned a personal dorm room and granted several sets of clothing to change into.

Fortunately, a new round of admissions was about to take place in just a few days for the academy, so it was a perfect time to enroll Zain into the academy along with the new batch of first years!

All the paperwork and formalities were taken care of by Ivan himself, so Zain was free to go to his new room and rest.

After an entire month of wandering in the wild, Zain was so tired that he fell asleep inside the bathtub and only managed to wake up in the evening.

Soon the enrollment date came, and Zain was directly admitted into the academy without any further troubles.

In his second year of the academy Zain would go on to meet with the love of his life and establish a relationship with her.

After reaching rank S in the near future, Zain would settle down like his senior Farim Melok and marry the person he had loved for so long.

The descendants born from this reunion would spread out across various sectors of society in the following centuries.

In a distant future, a certain ’Anomaly’ would be born in one of the branch families (Flash Family) originating from Zain Dred, making him an ancestor of Rio Flash.

The familiar dark black hair and eyes of Zain Dred would be inherited by that certain someone and would spread their legend all over the world once again, making the world realize that Zain’s descendants were in no way inferior to the Rex family.
