Chapter 1396: Unclaimed symbol

He was flustered because there were too many things for him to do!

He had to worry about their Chasm and the bridge that they were building. Then, he had to worry about their expansion to the Elite Society in the Upper Queens region. And then, there was the thing about the Guild of Arcana and the four medallions that he needed.

And then, he also had to worry about the Ersatz as well!

He had too many things to do, with so little time to do them. How was he going to fit a date with Yuna amongst all of those important things?

Michael began to think about it until finally, he found a solution!

This was good because it would be useful as well to introduce their company tto the Elite Society. It would coincide with their time to make their mark on the Upper Queens region.

His solution was a simple celebratory party!

Once they had finished construction on their new headquarters in the Elite Society, Michael would be hosting a soiree where he invited most of the elites for a little gathering.

First of all, it would help him introduce the Reborn company to their society. And second, it would act as a kind of reconnaissance mission. Of course, their introduction to the Elite Society would attract all kinds of attention, good and bad.

So, there would definitely be some people who would show up because they were curious about Reborn. Michael hoped that the Worcester Company would be included amongst them.

And third of all, he would get to spend a date with Yuna on the soiree!

As they said, killing three birds with one stone!

With this kind of thought in mind, Michael went to Castelle’s office and informed her of his intentions. She immediately nodded and agreed with his idea.

"I think that is great, Young Master. I will be making sure that the invitations are sent properly. Would you like us to prepare the products that we’re going to introduce at the party?"

Of course, they were going to be using this time to introduce their other products to the Elite Society.

It couldn’t be anything simple. It had to be something big, something that would take their attention.

It was at this moment that a Shadow Orc suddenly emerged in front of Michael, kneeling towards him.

"Narito, what’s up?"

"BU TO TO! I have actually come to talk with Miss Castelle," Narito said. "I have come to report something about the Elite Society."

Castelle then frowned. "Is it about the automobiles?"

Narito nodded. "Yes, Miss Castelle. It is as you feared.

Michael was completely out of the loop in the conversation. It seemed that Castelle had asked Narito to survey and spy something about the automobiles in the Elite Society, and came back with bad news.

"Young Master, it is about the automobiles. As you know, they are not allowed to put their own mark on the cars as it is still in our intellectual property.

However, things have changed. The Shadow Orcs have found signs that the Conglomerates have started to test their own automobiles."

Michael, as he heard this, rubbed his chin in deep thought.

It seemed that the Conglomerates were finally starting to catch up. He’d been expecting this, after all. But he didn’t think it would come so soon.

He already knew that the Conglomerates were taking apart the automobiles and researching it so that they could one day recreate it themselves.

He thought it would take them a full year before they brought out a useable prototype.

But it seemed that his promotion to the Upper Echelon had forced them to hasten their plans. Now, they were trying to make sure that their own names and their symbols was the one that’s going to be imprinted in the customer’s minds.

The early bird gets the worm, as the famous adage said.

Right now, the automobiles were without any symbols. No one knew who made them in the Elite Society.

But then, what would happen if the Conglomerates suddenly started to sell their own automobiles? Even if their own products were crude and very basic compared to the Rebornian automobile, the Conglomerate symbol would still be prevalent in the minds of society.

Now, they would start to think that that Conglomerate was the one who created the automobiles.

This would make it so that they would be the first thing that people thought of when they think about automobiles.

"This will complicate our plans," said Castelle. "We need to make some counterattacks before it’s too late."

Michael thought for a second before he said: "what about a race?"

Castelle turned towards him, her eyes blank as she began to think through the possibilities in Michael’s suggestion.

Then, her eyes widened. "YES! Young Master, that is brilliant! Along with the soiree, we will have a small racing circuit that would pit automobiles against each other.

We will invite the Conglomerates and the other companies who have their own automobiles. And then, that is when we’ll unveil the new supercars that we’ve been producing in the Nation of Reborn.

I can already see the possibilities. The Conglomerates will focus everything on their automobiles, making sure that their car is faster than ours.

But they would be focusing on the wrong thing. We will be focusing on everything else.

We’ll supply all of the oil, all of the paraphernalia, all of the supplemental products. Anyone who watches this circuit will see the cars for maybe a few minutes at max. But if they look at our circuit, they will see the Rebornian symbol everywhere! It’s a great way to introduce our company to a completely new market!

Young Master, that is genius!"

Michael rubbed his head awkwardly. "Hahaha, I just thought it would be nice to see a race."

As expected of their CEO, she was already able to complete a plan after only a single suggestion from Michael. He never even thought that far! Truly, Castelle was deserving of her place in their company.
