Mrs. Qin immediately replied, "They haven’t called home at all lately; they must be very busy. But I think Mingxue will probably come back. If she weren’t coming to Beijing for the New Year, she would have called to let us know by now."

Mrs. Fu thought about it and realized that made sense.

Since her daughter was coming to Beijing for the New Year, she would need to prepare more things.

Her son-in-law might even be coming back to Beijing with her.

As before, Qin Wenhao bought sleeper car tickets.

"Wenhao, you’re back too!"

Qin Wenhao stepped forward. "Mom, I was on leave, so I came home with Mingxue."
