Chapter 1185: Ch 1185: Journey of the Supreme Magus

At the beginning, Dein was quite nervous while talking with Elena. And the reason for this nervousness was definitely because of how Elena had made her entrance.

But after talking with her for quite some time, this fear was mostly gone. Elena was a very approachable person and talking to her was a very comfortable feeling. So obviously Dein was able to get rid of his fears quite easily.

As for the reason why Elena had made her entrance this way, there was actually no serious reason. She was just playing around and nothing else.

After leaving the meeting venue, she had immediately decided to have a conversation with the supreme magus but she found that he was busy with the last part of his research.

Obviously Elena was not going to disturb him at a critical moment like this, so she started waiting for him to finish the experiment.

So in this kind of situation, the discussion between them went extremely well. After learning what Elena and her partners were planning to do, Dein showed his complete support for it.

And after learning that Elena was planning to create a new hero to carry the burden for the humanoid races, he felt nothing but joy. In his position, there was not really many things that he was envious about. So he just felt glad that very soon the humans were going to get another super strong powerhouse.

He even asked Elena if there was something he could do to help but Elena turned him down. The type of powers and abilities Shin had, it was not really great for smooth times. So him getting too much help and support would actually be bad for his growth. That was why Elena quickly turned Dein down.

But she did ask his help for one thing and that was to help Tatsumi out with her magic. As the supreme magus, Elena was sure that he would definitely be able to guide her properly.

Elena was also capable of doing this but at the end of the day, she was not a real magus. So there was no doubt in her mind that Dein here would be able to guide her better as he had spend his whole life being a magus and had reached the absolute peak.

After this discussion was over, Dein and Elena next started to discuss about the magic of this universe. The magic that the magi used was called Magicraft while on the other hand, the magic that the gods used was called divine art.

Just like that, all the different worlds had a different power system. Dein himself had four such systems and each of them were specialised got a certain element.

Dein was born with no affinity. That did not mean he would not be able to use magic but his future growth potential was extremely limited.

But he had a special talent to help him with this situation. And this talent allowed him to absorb the power of various magical herbs successfully and with little to no limits.

Even though inherent talent very most important, there were medicines which could boost someone’s talent. But for a truly talentless person, this was not very useful as there was a strict limit for most precious items like this that it could only be used once.

But there was no such limits for Dein. So on one hand, he gathered and used precious items after precious items to increase his talent and on the other hand, he had worked like crazy to master the Magicraft which at that time was not as widespread as the current time.

But even with all these troubles, he had steadily grew stronger and after several centuries had passed, Dein suddenly noticed that his own talent had surpassed most of the great geniuses that he had seen in his life.

So, at the moment, he activated a skill that was an one time use skill and it allowed him to look the forbidden knowledge of the will of the world and leaning something from there.

He could use this skill only one time and there was a very short time period in which he could stay in contact with the forbidden knowledge.

And Dein had used that time to create four new power systems, each for one of the talents that he had developed to the peak. And as he already had the power system of the magi, Dein became the one and only individual in this world to have five completely different power systems in his body.

And this was who the supreme magus world. After reaching the rank of 11 with his first and main magus system, he had integrated all the other systems inside it, making his system of a magus to be something superior and unbelievable. So his title of the supreme magus was definitely very accurate.

As Elena heard about this, she was quite impressed. Even though Dein said everything very simply, there was no doubt in Elena mind that everything he had accomplished was build on a huge amount of hard work.

So for him, as a greeting and a friend making gesture, Elena decided to give him something too. Something that would definitely be super useful to him.
