Chapter 1231: Ch 1231: Hero Party Vs The Ancient Evil (2)

Seeing Shin coming toward her with his army of star souls, even Ann felt a little threatened. So immediately she decided to not play around anymore.

After their transformation into Fiendish Humans, both of the ladies had gotten some special abilities outside of their spell casting capacities from before.

As for what ability Ann had gotten, it was the power to inflict "Rot". Rot was a very powerful ability that could forcefully age everything around her. As this was a new power, her control over it was not very good.

But she did not care about that at all. Having less control did not make her abilities any weaker. So as she did not care about the side effects of having an uncontrollable power, she did not mind her lack of control.

And seeing Shin coming toward her, this was the exact power that she activated. The area around her immediately turned into a zone of death.

Shin noticed this change but he did not even lowered his speed. And as soon as he entered this area, a star soul that looked like a cute little sheep, it sudden made a "Baa" sound and the Rot effecting Shin immediately disappear.

This sheep like star soul was called "Chrono Reversal Sheep". It looked to be connected to a legendary lazy creature who mastered the power of time reversal because that sheep did not want to leave his bed. So it continuosly reversed the time and continued to sleep.

But as this star soul was supposed to be extremely lazy. After using its powers once, this sheep would go to a long sleep for at least 1 month. So for this duration of time, Shin would not be able to use this ability again.

But for the current time, this was perfect. The sheep had completely countered the Rot ability and now it was Shin’s time to do something offensive.

Even though Rot had failed to stop Shin but actually, it was being a great help for Ann. The Chrono Reversal Sheep star soul had given the protection to only Shin and the star souls who were connected to him. Everyone else were still effected by Rot.

That was why, as soon as the bugs and the weak mass produced undeads came closer, they immediately faced decay and disappeared. They were not really important for this battle in the grand scheme of things but still, this way they were unable to distract Ann at all.

All the bullets that Kashimo shot were also effected by Rot and disappear. Only some special bullets made of some super long lasting metals were able to get close to Ann but it ended up bouncing off her dark blue skin.

From this, everyone noticed that her skin suddenly had a metallic shine to it. So it looked like in preparation for the upcoming battle, Ann had turned her skin into metal and it was very clear that this metal was extremely powerful.

But Shin did not care. He boosted his strength as much as he could and sharpened his new legendary grade sword to the limit. Then with all his might, he swang it toward Ann.

In response, Ann used her fist and threw a punch toward the upcoming sword. As a rank 10 powerhouse, she was extremely confident that the sword of a rank 9 was never going to hurt her no matter how powerful the sword was.

But after the clash, both sides were surprised. It looked like both of them had underestimated each other.

Shin had thought that with all his boost and new sword, he would at least be able to cut her skin. But after the clash, he had only been able to leave some white marks behind on her skin without being able to reach the flesh.

On the other hand, after she had turned her body into an unique metal, Ann was extremely confident that there was no one present here who could leave even a mark on her skin. But Shin had managed to do this without much trouble.

This miscalculation made both sides mad. So both of them tried to go beyond their limits and clashed again and again. Sparks flew every time they connected and both sides were going extremely fast in their exchanges.

So much so that slightly weaker people like Kashimo, Ellie and Nakamura were able to only see a white and a dark blue flash of light clashing with both of the sides not gaining any advantage.

While having a bout with Shin, in her anger, Ann had completely forgotten about the person who was the only one to have inflicted a wound on her so far into the fight.

This was actually not completely Ann being careless. The ability that Shuzu was using, it had a function that made everyone but the people closest in her heart to forget about her existence.

This was mainly responsible for why Ann had stopped thinking about Shuzu so quickly and had lost herself in fighting Shin.

And there was no way Shuzu was going to miss this insane opportunity. So when Ann was slightly out of balance after blocking an all out attack from Shin, she made her move.

Shuzu turned her whole body into a sword and performed her finsiher. As for the Rot that was in her way, as her whole body was a sword capable of cutting anything, she managed to cut even the Rot itself.

And just like that, she actually managed to reach Ann. In her sword form, Shuzu’s speed was hard to describe. But she was so fast that even Ann was having a hard time keeping up with her.

So just like that, Shuzu manange to go through Ann’s neck and severed her head. Just like that the Blue skinned lady died with her eyes wide open and an extremely surprised look on her face.

Seeing this, everyone including Shin started to celebrate in their mind. Even though this was a very sudden plan, it was actually worked perfectly.

After using this move, Shuzu was not capable of moving anymore no matter how much healing she received. And at the same time, her body was at the very limit and was almost breaking apart.

So she would definitely not be able to fight for quite some time. But as her attack had managed of kill a full powered rank 10 powerhouse, this kind of backlash was only natural.

While everyone was thinking this and was trying to make sure that Shuzu would be fine, suddenly the corpse of the Dark Blue Lady turned into light and gathered together to form her intact body. After that, the lady opened her eyes filled with anger and came back to life.

Obviously Shin and his friends were aware of high ranking individuals having resurrection methods. They themselves had quite a few prepared. But Shuzu’s sword was supposed to have a soul killing effect which was a great bane for resurrection.

But it looked this this powerful lady had managed to resist that effect and had ressurected in her perfect completely undamaged form.

So now what was Shin and friends were going to do with Shuzu out of the picture ?
