Although Lin Yan had already developed numerous killer moves using these Immortal Gu, many of them were still not being used to their full potential. There were more than a hundred beads of white litchi immortal essence. The number seemed small compared with Lin Yan’s reserve of green grape immortal essence, but the difference between Rank Six and Rank Eight immortal essence was enormous. Taken together, they contained power equivalent to roughly one million immortal essence stones.

Lin Yan had no Rank Eight Immortal Gu, so the white litchi immortal essence held little immediate value to him. Using Rank Eight immortal essence to activate Rank Six or Rank Seven Immortal Gu would simply be a waste. For now, he carefully stored the hundred beads within Flame Sovereign Blessed Land. Such a reserve was difficult to obtain even with immortal essence stones, and when he eventually possessed methods worthy of Rank Eight immortal essence, it would save him an enormous amount of expenditure.

Fire Thunder Divine Lord had also left behind forty thousand immortal essence stones. Together with Lin Yan’s previous savings, his reserve reached roughly six hundred and forty thousand.

This immediately eased much of the pressure on him. Refining Immortal Gu, feeding them, maintaining formations, and developing Flame Sovereign Blessed Land consumed immortal essence stones at an astonishing rate. Six hundred and forty thousand was by no means inexhaustible, but Lin Yan could now carry out many of his plans without constantly worrying about exhausting his reserves.

However, what truly caught his attention lay among the immortal materials.

Fire Thunder Divine Lord had accumulated materials from several paths, with Flame Path and Thunder Path occupying the majority. Most were Rank Seven and Rank Eight, but three stood apart from everything else.

They were Rank Nine immortal materials, collectively known as the Three Fires of Heaven, Earth, and Human: Heaven Fire Radiant Sunwheel, Earth Fire Azure Divine Furnace, and Human Fire Raging Dragonheart.

The quantity of the three Rank Nine immortal materials was not large, but that hardly mattered. At Rank Nine, even a small portion was exceedingly difficult to obtain. Rank Eight Gu Immortals might spend hundreds of years without encountering suitable Rank Nine materials, while each of the Three Fires could even serve as a main material in the refinement of certain Rank Nine Immortal Gu.

There were also more than twenty types of Rank Eight immortal materials, followed by large quantities of Rank Seven and Rank Six materials. Among the Flame Path materials, Lin Yan found numerous Otherworldly Flames, including several types that were extremely difficult to gather in Western Desert.

His thoughts immediately turned toward the Endless Fire Domain.

The nine layers of Endless Fire Domain required different Otherworldly Flames to support one another, while the formation itself continuously transformed the surrounding environment and nurtured new flames. Lin Yan had only completed part of this arrangement because the required resources were simply too numerous.

Fire Thunder Divine Lord’s inheritance solved much of that problem at once.

If these Flame Path materials were placed into the Endless Fire Domain, Lin Yan could construct the basic framework of all nine layers. Once the nine layers began operating together, the entire resource point would undergo another transformation, greatly increasing both the quantity and rank of the Otherworldly Flames produced within.

Over the two years, Lin Yan had also accumulated nearly seven hundred thousand immortal essence stones’ worth of Flame Path resources. If he poured most of them into Endless Fire Domain together with what Fire Thunder Divine Lord had left behind, the resource point could reach super resource point scale in a single expansion.

More importantly, once all nine layers were established and began supporting one another, Endless Fire Domain would finally be capable of nurturing Rank Eight Otherworldly Flames on its own.

Even then, it would only be halfway to the Endless Fire Domain Lin Yan had envisioned in his previous life.
