Chapter 509 - 508: Sheng Hao Visits Sheng Tian

Sheng Hao made a call on the intercom and summoned his assistant.

"Mr. Sheng."

The moment the assistant walked in, they could sense the tense atmosphere. They simply said, "Mr. Sheng," and nothing more.

At a time like this, saying too much could lead to mistakes. It was better to wait for Sheng Hao’s instructions.

"Clear my schedule for this afternoon. I have to go out."

The matter with Sheng Tian had to be dealt with sooner rather than later.

An officer led the way for Sheng Hao, and they soon entered the visitation room.

On the other side, an officer went to bring Sheng Tian out.

Sheng Tian believed that after she had made such a scene, the detention center staff would have definitely contacted Yun Zijin.

She refused to believe that Yun Zijin could turn down an official request after receiving the call.

The officer escorting Sheng Tian didn’t answer her, instead leading her directly to the visitation room.

But when Sheng Tian saw that her visitor was Sheng Hao, she instinctively flinched.

She had imagined Yun Zijin would come to see her, or anyone else for that matter. She never expected it would be the person she feared seeing the most.

Sheng Hao was the current head of the Sheng Family. If even he gave up on her, then no one in the family would take her side.

Sheng Hao lifted his gaze and gave Sheng Tian an expressionless look, making it impossible for her to read anything from his face.

Sheng Tian sat down in the chair on her side and picked up the phone receiver.

"Sheng Tian, I remember telling you a long time ago that Lu Yunque is not someone you can covet."

Sheng Hao had practically used up his entire week’s worth of words. He could only think that Sheng Tian was truly and utterly sick in the head.

As she spoke, Sheng Tian started to get agitated. The officer standing guard beside her quickly intervened, telling her to watch her emotions.

Seeing that Sheng Tian was still unrepentant, even believing that she and Lu Yunque were a match made in heaven, Sheng Hao had nothing more to say.

"Even now, you’re still so stubbornly delusional! Sheng Tian, you’re in this mess today because you brought it all on yourself!"

"I’ll talk to Yun Zijin. From now on, if this place calls her again, she should just ignore it."

Sheng Tian’s emotions had been completely triggered. Sheng Hao frowned, his gaze toward her now filled with disgust.

’If he could,’ he thought, ’he’d wish he never had a sister.’

He really didn’t want a self-centered sister like this—one who couldn’t tell right from wrong and just wanted the world to revolve around her.

"If you don’t want to spend the rest of your life in here, then you’d better reflect long and hard on why you ended up in this situation!"

"Visiting time is over. The family member may leave."

Sheng Hao put down the receiver and left without a moment’s hesitation.

Sheng Tian wanted to say more, but the officer guarding her stopped her.

Because she knew what she had done in the past.

If that happened, she might really never get out.

Sheng Hao, unaware of Sheng Tian’s thoughts, walked out of the visitation room radiating a cold fury.

When Sheng Hao’s assistant and driver saw him come out, they quickly stood up from their seats.

"Mr. Sheng!"

Sheng Hao gave them a slight nod. "Let’s go."

The three of them left the detention center together. After getting in the car, Sheng Hao sent a message to their five-person group chat, suggesting a get-together.

Because of Sheng Tian, Yun Zijin had been disturbed. Besides coming to warn Sheng Tian, Sheng Hao also wanted to apologize to Yun Zijin in person.
