Chapter 514 - 513: Dare

When Lu Yunque revealed the dare and Fu Ze quickly made his choice, Qin Sitong was completely stunned.

She hadn’t expected that even though the bottle didn’t point at her, she wasn’t let off the hook.

Fu Ze completed the dare perfectly and quickly, and the game continued.

In the time that followed, Yun Zijin and Lu Yunque seemed to be heaven’s chosen favorites. While everyone else had been picked for a truth or dare, the two of them were like outsiders; the bottle hadn’t pointed at them even once.

Yun Zijin and Lu Yunque were sitting together, making for a wide target, yet somehow, after so many rounds, they hadn’t been hit once.

Li Yuexing pumped his fist, his elbow bent and pulling down. You could practically see a green glint of mischief in his eyes.

Given the typical nature of the truths and dares they’d written, getting Lu Yunque was basically the same as getting Yun Zijin.

"Pick one. Truth or Dare?"

Lu Yunque glanced at Yun Zijin, then said, "Dare."

A slight smirk played on Li Yuexing’s lips as he drew a slip of paper from the pile of dares they’d written.

After unfolding it, Li Yuexing took a look at it himself first, and then...

"Whoa, this dare is... a little intense!"

With that, Li Yuexing held up the slip for everyone to see. It read: KISS a member of the opposite sex present for 1 minute.

A dare like this could only really be completed by the couples in the room. If anyone else had drawn it, they’d just have to take a penalty drink to forfeit.

Lu Yunque took the umbrella, opened it, and held it to completely shield the two of them, making sure no one could see them from any angle. Only then did he say, "You can start the timer."

"I’ll do it, I’ll do it! Ready—start!"

Lu Yunfeng took out his phone and opened the timer app.

The moment Lu Yunfeng started the timer, Lu Yunque, holding the umbrella with one hand, wrapped his other arm around Yun Zijin and gently pressed his lips to hers.

Trying not to make a sound that would embarrass Yun Zijin, Lu Yunque held the position, keeping as still as possible.

Yun Zijin never knew a single minute could feel so long.

"Heh heh... Bro, let me get that umbrella for you."

Lu Yunfeng gave Lu Yunque a fawning smile, then quickly folded up the umbrella that Lu Yunque had just set aside, tidied it, and returned it to Qin Sitong.

After a long moment, he finally pulled back a little, though his arms remained wrapped around her. His thin lips parted by her ear as he whispered, "This... is the proper way to handle tonight’s dare."

Yun Zijin’s ears turned visibly red, a sight Lu Yunque, with his gaze lowered, saw with perfect clarity.

The corners of his lips curled up slightly. He adjusted their position so she could lean against him more comfortably. "We still have a while before we get back to Jade Lake. You can take a nap if you want."

Yun Zijin was indeed a little sleepy. Not long after she closed her eyes, her breathing evened out. Feeling that she had fallen asleep, Lu Yunque closed his own eyes to rest.

By the time the car stopped, Yun Zijin was sound asleep. Lu Yunque slowly opened his eyes and glanced down at her in his arms.
