Chapter 297 - 296: Consecutively Breaking Nine World Records

Chapter 297: Chapter 296: Consecutively Breaking Nine World Records

Fang Chenyi waved a dismissive hand.

"No need. I’ll get them myself. You wouldn’t be able to find them."

’He had to be kidding.’ The blueprints were in his woven bag right now. He had only said they were on the plane because the roll was bigger than his briefcase, making it impossible to just pull them out here.

If he let Liu Yishou go, the man could take the whole plane apart and still not find a thing.

Liu Yishou was about to say something else, but he fell silent after Fang Chenyi shot him a glare.

Seeing this, Fang Chenyi just smiled, nodded to everyone, and strode out of the private room.

Back at the plane, Fang Chenyi pulled open the cabin door and made a show of leaning inside. He then pulled a set of blueprints from his woven bag—a stack a full thirty centimeters thick, containing several thousand pages.

Fang Chenyi stared at the massive stack of blueprints, stunned. ’I can’t believe there are so many.’ He had expected a few dozen pages at most, not this enormous pile.

Hefting the stack, he estimated it had to weigh at least several dozen pounds. ’I can’t possibly bring all of this with me. It’s way too much. Besides, it’s obvious one person couldn’t have finished this in a short amount of time.’

He shook his head in resignation, his gaze falling on the bound, dozen-page set of drawings on the very top.

This was the master plan, primarily illustrating the entire commercial park from several key perspectives.

He picked it up, stuffed the rest back into his woven bag, and headed back to the room with the documents in hand.

"This... this...! Heh, it seems I’ll have to take back what I just said."

In the private room, Professor Wu took the blueprints from Fang Chenyi, his face a mask of shock. After a long moment of stunned silence, a wry smile appeared on his face.

Before anyone could ask what was wrong, Professor Wu spoke again.

"Sigh... Such a prodigious young talent. Xiaofang, your design skills are a cut above my own."

The moment he said it, everyone froze, their faces a mixture of confusion and shock. The man speaking was the top architectural designer in all of Huaxia!

If that was true, just what terrifying level had Fang Chenyi’s design skills reached?

And so, all eyes fell on the blueprints in Professor Wu’s hands.

Professor Wu, now wearing his reading glasses, scrutinized the blueprints. Five minutes passed, then ten, then half an hour. Time slipped by in silence. During this period, Fang Chenyi finished two pots of tea.

Finally, just as Fang Chenyi was about to finish his second pot of tea, Professor Wu took off his reading glasses. He nodded in satisfaction and said:

"Brilliant. Many aspects are even more refined than I had imagined. And the overall form... you could say that from every angle, it presents a completely different picture!"

Noticing everyone’s eyes fixed on the blueprints, Professor Wu looked to Fang Chenyi for confirmation. After all, these drawings were far too important and confidential to be shown without permission. Only after Fang Chenyi nodded his assent did Professor Wu carefully place them on the table. He then addressed the group:

"Everyone, have a look. But please be careful not to damage them. This design is nothing short of perfect. One more thing—after you’ve seen it, feel free to study its core principles, but you must not, under any circumstances, speak of it to outsiders."

It was just as Professor Wu had said. Without a hint of exaggeration, the design transformed the entire park into a multitude of different styles.

For example, from an airplane, a bird’s-eye view of the commercial park would reveal a miniature version of the Solar System, with a kilometer-high skyscraper at its center.

But if one were to stand on the south side of the park—the side facing Lotus Peak Mountain—they would see the magnificent vista of an ancient capital city.

The other three sides were similar, each presenting a unique facade. In short, it was a masterpiece that perfectly blended futuristic technology, modern sensibilities, and ancient aesthetics.

Professor Wu was certain that if this commercial park were successfully built, it would absolutely become a new wonder of the world.

This was no exaggeration. Setting everything else aside, the central skyscraper alone—specified at a height of 1,001 meters—already surpassed the world’s current tallest building, the 828-meter Burj Khalifa in Dubai.

Not only that, but the eight surrounding towers—Mercury Tower, Venus Tower, Earth Tower, Mars Tower, Jupiter Tower, Saturn Tower, Uranus Tower, and Neptune Tower—were each specified to be 888 meters tall. This meant that nine buildings, each taller than the current world’s tallest, would be constructed at once.

Of course, aside from these nine main towers, the commercial park would also feature hundreds of other structures, ranging from low-rise two-story buildings to skyscrapers over six hundred meters tall. Furthermore, the total land area specified in the design far exceeded what Fang Chenyi had previously mentioned, reaching an astonishing 300 square kilometers—an area comparable to a small county.

A commercial park of this scale would be one of the largest in all of Huaxia.

While the design was flawless to a certain degree, actually bringing it to life would be anything but easy.

Setting aside the challenge of a perfect execution, the estimated construction cost alone was staggering. The proposal quoted a price range of 700 billion to 1.2 trillion.

A project of this magnitude alone would be impossible to complete in under a decade.

It would be one thing for a nation to undertake such a project, but for an individual, it was completely unrealistic. What kind of family could possibly produce over a trillion in capital? Even the world’s richest person on the Forbes list might not have that kind of liquidity.

After Dean Liu and the others finished looking through the design, their eyes were wide with astonishment. When they saw the final construction budget, they were left utterly speechless.

Once everyone had finished, Professor Wu quickly retrieved the blueprints. He then turned to Fang Chenyi with a wry smile and said:

"Xiaofang, this design is the perfect textbook. I’m certain it would stun every designer in the world if it were ever released. But... the sheer scale of this project is just immense."

Fang Chenyi, of course, understood this. It was the very reason he had arranged such a formal meeting with the professor. He hesitated for a moment before speaking.

"Professor Wu, I know how incredibly difficult this project is. That’s why I came to see you today—to sincerely ask for your help. I’m in desperate need of talent in this field. You have former students all over the world, and I truly hope that you’ll agree to get involved."
