Nero shot Trevor Kesser a cold look.
It was true that he was stunned by the presence of the frozen Silver Foxes. But that didn’t mean he was scared.

"We need the breath of a living Silver Fox."

"I think so, ma’am," Trevor Kesser answered politely. "His Imperial Majesty’s ice would prevent the statues from melting or breaking."
"What’s the key for if it’s not enough to thaw the ice?" his father asked, scoffing. "How complicated."
"Of course, it’s complicated, my love. They froze themselves to protect their clan from being extinct, after all," his mother said, touching his father’s arm as if to calm him down. "We should be grateful that we found the ice statues this time. I don’t think we had found them in the original timeline."
Ah, that was right.
Nero didn’t remember the Silver Fox Clan coming back in the original timeline.
Lewis was the only Silver Fox that I had known in the original timeline until the day I died.

"Do you know when Neoma and the others would return?" Nero asked Trevor Kesser. He actually didn’t want to talk to the annoying Sorcerer, but he had no choice. "I thought they’d be returning around this time."
"Well, Princess Neoma is the most unpredictable person ever," Trevor Kesser said with a chuckle. "Who knows? Maybe the Moon Princess has found something interesting in the Dead World, and that’s enough for her to delay her return."
To be honest, that sounded like something his twin sister would definitely do.
I just hope Neoma hasn’t forgotten that we have a schedule to follow.
"Ah, Your Imperial Majesty. There’s something else I need to do while I’m here," Trevor Kesser said, looking at Nero with a slightly more serious aura now. "I need to talk to Dahlia."

"I’ll summon Dahlia," Nero said, avoiding everyone’s gazes. "She should be free to meet you, Trevor Kesser."

"Princess Neoma, should I get rid of that thing?" Lewis, the one from her current timeline, asked while looking at Trevor coldly. "I can even kill him for you if you want, Your Imperial Highness."

But she understood why her ’son’ was acting that way.

"It’s alright, Lewis," Neoma said while waving her hand. "I can deal with this fool on my own."
After saying that, she made her body temperature rise until her skin was hot enough for Trevor to finally let go of her.

However, she decided to keep it sweet and short. After all, she hated saying goodbye. "I don’t know if we’ll meet again, but I’ll find a way to let you know once I become the empress of my world."

AFTER NERO left Trevor and Dahlia to talk, he found himself with Commander Ruto Solfrid.
