Lilith POV

The night after the ritual, Lilith couldn’t sleep.

She lay in her bed staring at the ceiling and replaying every moment. Nicholas appearing. His translucent form becoming visible. His voice clear and real. His words echoing in her mind.

"I love you. I’m not suffering. I’m at peace with my choice."

It should have brought comfort. And in some ways it did. Knowing Nicholas wasn’t in pain. Knowing his consciousness had survived. Knowing they could reach him again.

But it also made the loss sharper. More real.

Because she had seen him. Had heard his voice. Had felt his cool touch against her face.

And then watched him fade away again.

Knowing he existed somewhere made it harder to accept that he couldn’t be here.

A soft knock at her door pulled Lilith from her thoughts.

"Come in," she said quietly.

The door opened. Sebastian and Lucian entered together. Both of them looking as exhausted and emotionally raw as Lilith felt.

"Couldn’t sleep either?" Sebastian asked.

"No," Lilith admitted. She sat up. "Keep seeing him. Hearing his voice. And then...." She stopped.

"And then remembering he’s gone," Lucian finished. He crossed to sit on the edge of her bed. "Same."

Sebastian sat on her other side. "Elena said the ritual drained you. Are you okay?"

"Physically, yes," Lilith said. "Emotionally....." She shook her head. "I don’t know. Seeing Nicholas was....it was everything I wanted. But it also made me realize how much I’ve lost. How different everything is now."

"He told us to keep living," Sebastian said quietly. "To work together. To not carry guilt."

"I know," Lilith said. "But knowing what I should do and actually doing it are two different things."

They sat in silence for a moment. The three of them existing in the shared space of grief and relief and overwhelming emotion.

"He was there," Lucian said. His voice rough. "During the ritual. I felt him. Not just saw him. Felt him through the bond. Like....like part of him synchronized with us for those thirty minutes."

"I felt it too," Sebastian said. "The bond. His presence filling that empty space that’s been aching since he died. It was...." He stopped. "It was the most whole I’ve felt since the resurrection."

Lilith looked at both of them. At these two men who were grieving their brother while trying to be strong for her.

"I need you both," Lilith said quietly. "Not because I’m trying to replace Nicholas. Not because I think intimacy will fix anything. But because I need.....I need to feel connected. To feel alive. To remember that even though we lost him, we still have each other."

Sebastian’s hand found hers. "Are you sure? After the ritual, after everything today...."

"I’m sure," Lilith interrupted. "I don’t want to lie here alone thinking about what I’ve lost. I want to be with you. Both of you. I want to feel the bonds working. I want....." Her voice broke. "I want to feel Nicholas through you. The way I did during the ritual."

Lucian’s expression shifted. Understanding and desire mixing together. "You think he’ll reach through again. If we’re together."

"I don’t know," Lilith admitted. "But during the ritual, when the bonds synchronized....it felt like he was part of us. And maybe....maybe if we’re connected intimately, if the bonds are fully engaged..."

"We might feel him again," Sebastian finished.

Lilith nodded.

Sebastian and Lucian exchanged looks. Some silent communication passing between them.

Then Sebastian leaned in and kissed her.

Soft at first. Gentle. Like he was asking permission even though she had already given it.

Lilith kissed him back. Deeper. Needing more than gentleness.

Lucian’s hand moved to her thigh."We’re going to take care of you. Both of us. And if Nicholas reaches through....if he’s there with us....then we’ll feel it together."

"Yes," Lilith breathed.

Sebastian pulled back and started removing her sleep shirt. His grey-blue eyes dark with desire and grief and desperate need all mixed together.

Lucian helped. Both of them working together to undress her. Removing every barrier until she was completely bare between them.

"You’re beautiful," Sebastian murmured. His hands moving over her skin. Reverent. "So beautiful."

Lucian’s mouth found her neck. Kissing. Biting gently. "And ours. You’re ours, Lilith."

"Yours," Lilith agreed. "All of yours."

Even the part that belonged to Nicholas. Even the bond that was broken. It was all theirs.

Sebastian’s mouth moved lower. Over her collarbone. Between her breasts. Down her stomach.

He settled between her thighs and looked up at her. "I’m going to make you feel everything except grief. At least for a little while."

Then his mouth was on her. Tongue moving in deliberate strokes that made Lilith gasp and arch off the bed.

Lucian captured her mouth in a bruising kiss. Swallowing her sounds. His hand moving to her breast. Squeezing. Rolling her nipple between his fingers.

Pleasure built. Hot. Overwhelming. Sebastian knew exactly how to touch her. Exactly what pressure and rhythm would drive her crazy.

And then....

Cool lips on her other breast. Gentle suction. A tongue that felt different from Lucian’s warm one.

Phantom touch. Nicholas.

Lilith’s eyes flew open. "He’s here. Oh god, he’s here."

"I feel him," Lucian said. His voice strained. "Through the bond. He’s...." He stopped. "He’s touching you."

Sebastian didn’t stop what he was doing. Just kept working between her thighs. But Lilith felt him shudder. Felt his awareness of Nicholas’s presence through their shared connections.

The phantom mouth on her breast moved. Kissing. Licking. Matching rhythm with Lucian’s warm touch on the other side.

Double sensation. Hot and cold. Living and ghost. Two men touching her physically and one reaching through from death.

"Nicholas," Lilith sobbed. "I can feel you."

"I’m here," his voice echoed through the bonds. Not spoken aloud. "Just....felt. I told you I’d never leave. Let them love you. Let me help."

Sebastian’s tongue moved faster. His fingers joining. Sliding inside her. Curling.

The combination of sensations shattered Lilith’s control.

She came hard. Screaming.

Sebastian pulled back. His mouth wet. His eyes dark. "That was the fastest I’ve ever made you come."

"Because Nicholas was helping," Lilith gasped. "I could feel him. Cool touch. Phantom mouth. He was there."

"I felt it too," Lucian said. He was staring at his own hand. At the faint silver shimmer overlaying his skin. "Like Nicholas was....guiding my movements. Showing me exactly where to touch."

Sebastian moved up Lilith’s body. Already removing his clothes. "If he’s here....if he’s participating, then we’re all doing this together."

"Yes," Lilith breathed.

Sebastian positioned himself between her thighs. "Tell me if it’s too much. If you need me to stop."

"Don’t stop," Lilith said. "Please don’t stop."
