Chapter 386: Chapter 194: Apollo Descends, Hand Over Alex! (Part 2)

On the chariot, a god clad in a dazzling golden divine armor stood proudly. His face was as handsome as the midday sun, yet it carried an icy, unapproachable arrogance.

A flickering stellar divine crest hovered between his brows. The newcomer was none other than Apollo, the God of Light, Athena’s biological brother, Zeus’s most powerful son, and the current de facto ruler of Mount Olympus.

In front of the chariot stood several warriors clad in silver divine armor, their expressions solemn. Powerful divine power fluctuations radiated from their bodies. These were Apollo’s Angels. Each of their eyes was as sharp as an eagle’s, locking onto the battlefield below like radar.

Apollo’s gaze was like tangible fire. It swept across the battlefield before finally landing accurately on Alex. His majestic voice echoed throughout Elysium, carrying an unquestionable sense of oppression.

"Athena! You have won the Holy War. Hades’s defeat is a foregone conclusion."

He tilted his chin up slightly, his tone carrying obvious condescension and arrogance, as if this victory was supposed to be bestowed by him in the first place.

Immediately after, his voice suddenly turned sharp. The God Cloth on his body simultaneously erupted with a terrifying divine might capable of incinerating all creation, aimed directly at Alex.

"However! This mortal, Alex! He is excessively audacious, and his sin of blasphemy is unforgivable!"

Alex raised his head, facing Apollo’s monstrous divine might with his mortal body!

"Oh? Then pray tell, Lord Apollo, how exactly have I blasphemed?"

Apollo seemed not to hear Alex’s question, or perhaps he simply disdained conversing with a mortal like him. He continued speaking to Athena.

"He stole the authority of the sun and desecrated the origin of light! Furthermore, he murdered gods with a mortal body! Such sins are utterly intolerable to Olympus! Hand him over immediately. I will take him back to Olympus and subject him to the ultimate punishment of the sundial, obliterating both his body and soul!"

Apollo’s sudden appearance and his unreasonable demands instantly plunged the joyful atmosphere of the Saints—who were about to witness victory—down to the freezing point!

Just as they were about to thoroughly seal Hades, an even more powerful God of Light, Apollo, suddenly popped up!

Is it really this difficult for humanity to attain freedom?

Can we truly protect the human world in the face of these powerful gods?

A gloating, cold sneer appeared on Hades’s face.

Athena, however, furrowed her brows, caught in a dilemma.

If she handed over Alex, the Saints would completely lose their faith and turn away from her. But if she didn’t hand him over, what could she possibly use to counter the pressure from the gods of Olympus?

Athena knew deeply well that the power of the Olympian gods was absolutely not an existence she could resist by relying solely on these heroic spirits and the current Saints.

Ever since Zeus’s disappearance, Apollo had been the de facto Divine King of Olympus. He could mobilize all the power of Olympus.

Athena might be able to contend with any one of them individually, but if the Olympian gods mobilized collectively, it would spell the end of the human world!

Facing Apollo’s monstrous divine might and unreasonable demands, Alex, who had been branded a blasphemer, showed not the slightest trace of panic on his face.

The corners of his mouth even curled into a cold arc, as if he had anticipated all of this long ago.

"Apollo, you finally couldn’t hold back anymore!"

Alex’s voice was terrifyingly calm.

Knowing the entire progression of this world, he was naturally very clear that once the Saints defeated Hades, the King of the Underworld, the Olympian gods wouldn’t be able to hold back. They would jump out like mad dogs fighting for food to snatch the fruits of victory.

Among them, the hardest to deal with would undoubtedly be the son of the Divine King standing before him—Apollo, the God of Light!

Technically speaking, Apollo and Athena were biological siblings. For Apollo to be so shameless as to steal his own sister’s spoils of war...

The Olympian gods truly lacked even a shred of familial affection...

"You want to judge me? Just you? And these few lapdogs under your command?"
