Chapter 387 Achilles, Gun Fu! (Part 1)

Chapter 387: Chapter 195: Achilles, Gun Fu! (Part 1)

Before Alex could even finish speaking, one of the Angels flew into a rage. He knelt on one knee and requested of Apollo,

"Lord Apollo, please allow me to test his strength!"

Apollo nodded slightly.

"Go. Do not kill him in one strike; I still need to take him back to Olympus to make him repent before obliterating his body and soul!"

That Angel leaped down from the aerial chariot. Like a feather, he landed gently. Then, with a smile hanging on the corners of his mouth, he slowly walked toward Alex.

"I heard in the Heavenly Realm that you are called the strongest Gold Saint of the current era?"

"Actually, I’ve wanted to fight you and test your strength for a long time now!"

Athena’s expression grew tense. She whispered to Alex,

"Be careful. That is Achilles! He is a demigod... a being born with an awakened Ninth Sense!"

Achilles, is it?

He was the son of the sea goddess Thetis and the mortal hero Peleus. Right after he was born, his mother, Thetis, held him by his heel and dipped him into the River Styx, thereby granting him an immortal body...

Alex nodded slightly. To think that even the God of War from mythology who breached Troy had appeared. He wondered how much divine power he could obtain by killing him.

According to Alex’s knowledge, there were a total of eighteen Angels in the Heavenly Realm. Ranked from weakest to strongest, they were:

Eighteenth: Toma, also known as Icarus!

He was the only Angel of human identity, and the younger biological brother of the Silver Saint Marin.

Seventeenth: Stentor, an Angel who manipulated sonic energy.

Sixteenth: Ajax, an ancient warrior with extremely rich combat experience.

Fifteenth: Phaethon, an Angel highly skilled in manipulating light and fire energy.

Fourteenth: Deucalion, a manipulator of water-element energy.

Thirteenth: Achilles, a descendant of a demigod who had breached Troy.

Twelfth: Endymion, an Angel skilled in musical attacks, and also Apollo’s chief musical officer.

Eleventh: Theseus, an ancient Greek hero.

Tenth: Odysseus...

...

First: Heracles, the God of Strength!

These Angels were all demigods or heroic human spirits who had survived from ancient times to the present. Only Toma was a human who had recently become an Angel, but even he was gradually beginning to consider himself a god.

Over the endless years, the Angels had absorbed the divine power of Mount Olympus, and all of them had achieved the Eighth Sense to reach the Ninth Sense!

Facing the legendary demigod hero Achilles, Alex showed no fear.

He lightly gripped his single hand, and the Spear of Longinus instantly materialized from the void into his palm.

Smelling the divine power aura of the many gods present, this vicious spear squirmed in Alex’s palm like a shark. The purple Chaos Lightning power on the spear’s shaft seemed almost tangible.

Seeing this, a trace of greed flashed through Apollo’s eyes.

To think that the Chaos Lightning power of Divine King Zeus could be controlled by a mortal. The spear in his hand reminded Apollo even more of his father’s divine artifact that governed lightning. This made his desire to obtain Alex burn even more vigorously.

Apollo clenched his fists tightly.

"Lowly mortal, everything you have should belong to me!"

He shouted sternly.

"Achilles, proceed with caution. In this battle, you are only permitted to win; defeat is not allowed!"

Achilles chuckled. He slowly walked in front of Alex, the God Cloth on his body shedding on its own to reveal his lean, muscular, and perfect physique.

He unhooked a golden spear from his back.

"I can tell you are very skilled with a spear? Then let’s exchange some moves with spears!"

"To make the battle a bit fairer, I can go without wearing my God Cloth. After all, compared to my God Cloth, that thing on your body is just scrap metal!"

Alex chuckled. The Aquarius Cloth on his body also instantly detached itself. Anyone can act tough. Possessing the Kryptonian Man of Steel physique, he might not be inferior to Achilles’s immortal body.
