Chapter 1327: Chapter 1327: Will You Be My Wife? (Part 2)

"What perfume?" Watt Bennet burying his face absentmindedly flipped through the menu, not sure if he was pretending not to understand her or really didn’t understand.

"The one in the news report!" Summer Sutton felt a bit anxious.

Could he really not have prepared it for her?

Watt Bennet’s design had such a meaningful name, and it was the only one in the world, unique. Summer Sutton couldn’t accept him giving such a thing to someone else or selling it to ultimately belong to others.

"News?" Watt Bennet seemed surprised by her words, raising his face, his gaze at her even hinted with confusion.

His reaction left Summer Sutton stunned for a while.

Still unwilling to believe, she couldn’t find it on the table and started searching through his clothes.

She felt through every part of his coat but found nothing.

He really didn’t have it.

Perfume isn’t like a ring; it’s easy to hide.

Summer Sutton was momentarily bewildered.

"Hurry up and eat, I ordered ahead!" Watt Bennet urged her.

Summer Sutton felt a bit stifled, unable to understand his behavior.

She consoled herself that Watt Bennet might have just left the gift at home, intending not to give it to her here.

After all, on a wedding anniversary, giving perfume might not hold as much significance as giving a ring.

Thinking this way, Summer Sutton temporarily decided not to argue with him.

After the waiter brought the dinner, she ate with ease.

She was truly hungry at this point, perhaps due to not having eaten well for several days, or maybe because she reconciled with Watt Bennet, reducing her mental burden; tonight, she enjoyed her meal much better.

It was already past ten at this time, and their dinner took about two hours to finish.

The night sky tonight wasn’t beautiful at all; snow was falling from the sky, and the restaurant environment was outdoor, making the dining experience somewhat unpleasant.

However, for Summer Sutton, this meal was the most pleasant she’d had in quite some time.

When they finished dinner, it was past midnight.

Watt Bennet seemed afraid Summer Sutton would back out of reconciling, and despite it being so late at night, he didn’t mind the hassle and drove straight to Summer Sutton’s apartment, helping her pack up everything and move it to his private villa.

After returning to the villa and tidying up a bit more, it was already two in the morning when they went to bed.

Tonight, Watt Bennet seemed particularly spirited with no intention of sleeping.

Holding Summer Sutton in bed, he looked at her endlessly, as if he couldn’t get enough.

As he watched, he suddenly broke into laughter.

Summer Sutton thought his behavior was a bit silly, couldn’t help but roll her eyes at him.

"What are you looking at? Aren’t you sleeping yet?"

"My wife is beautiful, can’t I look a few more times?" Watt Bennet teased her.

Summer Sutton was a bit speechless at his response, not taking his words to heart.

"Hurry up and sleep!" She poked his arm with her fingertip, urging him.

"Can’t sleep." Watt Bennet confessed.

"Why can’t you sleep?" Summer Sutton was slightly puzzled.

"Thinking about stuff!" Watt Bennet lay flat, his hand behind his head, gazing at the ceiling in a daze.

"What are you thinking about?" Summer Sutton pursued.

Watt Bennet’s gaze drifted for a while, then he turned his head to look at her and said something that was hard to tell if it was a joke or serious, "Thinking about how to marry you faster!"

His words made Summer Sutton stunned again.

"Didn’t we already get the certificate?"

"But haven’t we always postponed the wedding?"
