The five of them stood together, watching the growing horde of monsters, and couldn’t help but swallow hard.

Then, she created one for each of them. "If it’s come to this, we’ll have to use the most primitive method."

The group gripped the hilts of their long blades tightly. This would be a test of their fundamental skills.

These monsters were fast and strong. If one of them actually landed a hit, it would mean either death or serious injury.

"Exactly," Feng He chimed in.

Lin Jingjing said nothing. She released all the animals from her Spiritual World. As soon as they appeared, the empty space was instantly filled.

"My darlings, go! Tear their heads off!"

At Lin Jingjing’s command, the animals charged.

In an instant, the scene devolved into a massive, chaotic brawl.

The animals each displayed their unique abilities, using every method at their disposal to kill the monsters.

The scene was incredibly bloody. The animals tore the monsters limb from limb, spilling blood all over the ground. The monsters’ internal organs tumbled out onto the floor.

The thick, coppery smell of blood filled the air. But Lin Jingjing didn’t find it repulsive; instead, she found it more and more intoxicating.

She had always known she was a bit twisted. Sometimes, the sight of blood made her incredibly excited.

Seeing their companions dead and wounded, the monsters actually let out mournful cries.

Their eyes grew even redder. It looked like they were about to go berserk.

"Are they going berserk?!" Shi Feng shouted, raising his blade and chopping off a long arm.

"Probably, maybe," said Mo Xuan.

The monsters stopped their attacks. They moved from all directions to gather together.

Lin Jingjing and the others paused, watching them assemble with confusion in their eyes.

"What are they doing?" Feng He asked with a frown.

"I don’t know, but I have a bad feeling about this," Lin Jingjing replied, her brow furrowed.

’This definitely doesn’t feel good.’

Suddenly, the monsters began to exert some strange power. They drained all the energy from the mother-creature, which instantly shriveled up.

After absorbing the mother’s energy, they began to detach from it. The monsters braced their hands on the ground and slowly crawled out of the maternal mass.

Once free, their bodies rapidly expanded. They became tall and huge, gnashing their sharp teeth.

"Fuck..." Shi Feng couldn’t help but mutter as he watched.

"They can transform, too?" Gu Kaiwen said wearily, wiping his face.

"Hahahaha, so it looks like today really is the day we die, huh?" Feng He laughed, her mental state truly on another level.

She could still laugh even though they were on the verge of death.

Lin Jingjing let out a long sigh, looking up at the pitch-black ceiling. ’How am I supposed to get you all out of here?’

’I’m not a good leader. I’ve let my team fall into this kind of danger.’

The monsters were tall, visually estimated at two meters high. Their arms had become much stronger, and every step they took cracked the floor.

’They’re even stronger now. Their speed must have increased too.’

Lin Jingjing’s gaze returned to the monsters. Then, she said calmly, "I’m going to create an opportunity for you to escape." As she spoke, she pulled a large crate of bombs from her Space Ring and immediately ran toward the elevator.

The moment she moved, the monsters moved too. They all charged in Lin Jingjing’s direction, and the other four immediately moved to block their path.

The animals also rushed forward to grapple with the monsters.

But the monsters, having absorbed the mother-creature’s energy, were stronger in every aspect.

She spat out a mouthful of blood, and her face turned pale.

Her entire body swayed, on the verge of collapse. Just as she was about to pass out, an image of her friends dying horrible deaths flashed through her mind.

The thought of them being eaten by these monsters made her instantly steady herself. Her eyes hardened.

’I absolutely cannot let them die here!’

’Not even if it costs me my own life!’

Enduring the splitting pain in her head, she made her way to the elevator. She piled the bombs in front of the doors and lit the fuse.

After lighting it, she rushed forward, shouting, "Get ready for the explosion!"

After shouting, she found a place to take cover. The other four quickly scrambled onto the back of a large bird to escape the blast.

"BOOM—"

A massive explosion erupted, wounding many of the nearby monsters.

The elevator was destroyed. Lin Jingjing emerged from her cover, glanced at the wreckage, and then shouted to the birds in the air, "Brother Eagle, Sister Eagle, please get them out of here!"
