SSS Awakening: Conquering Worlds with My Cupid System
Chapter 297: Dance with Me... Please...
Kelvina sat three tables away from Silas with the West Town Saints’ members, drinking fruit juice and darting all around to spot the guy of her dreams. She wanted to contact him and kept glancing at her phone, but she couldn’t bring herself to do it.
She wore a beautiful white blouse over a black inner, a black pleated skirt with golden embroidery, and simple heels to match. Her long, double-braided hair fell over her shoulders and landed just above her ankles.
Her twin peaks, which were probably B-cups from how they were accentuated by her clothes, seemed to draw the gazes of the men around her, although she revealed no cleavage. She was just too beautiful.
She had applied a bit of makeup, which had enhanced her beauty to another level. Coupled with her dressing, she was nothing short of amazing. One passing guy had a nosebleed just from looking at her.
But despite all the gazes, ranging from admiration to lust, Kelvina’s attention was on searching for Silas. She knew he was possibly with Chloe, but a part of her had thrown logic out the window. It wanted Silas... She wanted Silas.
The way she was looking around caught Ezra’s attention. He was talking with a lady, but paused their conversation after noticing how anxious Kelvina was looking.
"What’s wrong? You don’t feel well?" Ezra asked.
"I... I’m fine. I’m just... looking for someone," Kelvina answered, her gaze anywhere but Ezra’s face. Ezra chuckled, seeing as he realized who she was looking for. She’d hidden it well from the others, but if there was one thing he was without his ability, it would be his perceptiveness.
"You’re looking for Silas, aren’t you?"
"I... You... Uhmmm..." Kelvina was rendered speechless, unable to talk. She had been caught red-handed.
"Well, I don’t care what you are up to. You can do your thing. He’s sitting three tables from us, to the right. You can spot him easily."
With that, Ezra left her to continue his conversation with the lady.
Kelvina stared at the place he’d pointed, and lo and behold, there was Silas, his white suit glowing like an angel’s wings, and his pink hair catching the light with an almost divine glow. He was talking with Chloe, pinching her cheeks, and even stealing kisses from her, but Kelvina saw none of that, or she just didn’t care.
Why would she? Silas was in a known relationship with two women, Anna and Chloe. Plus, although people didn’t want to speak of it, they knew Gromda and Echidna were more than just... tamed monsters to Silas. So why should she care about it?
Morality and normalcy weren’t in Silas’s book.
She stood, earning stares from those around her, which she didn’t care about, and headed towards Silas.

Silas was deep in a conversation with Chloe when he felt his senses tingling.
’What is this? Spidey sense?’
At the same time, the system showed up.
[Congratulations! You just earned the attention of the Sun Dragon]
’Huh?’
[Your status as Cupid’s Heir is just beginning. Love, Like, and Lust will be your blessing and your curse]
’What’s wrong with you? I don’t understand shit!’
[Choose your women wisely]
With that, the system went off, leaving Silas dumbfounded and confused. Chloe was speaking when she realized he had stopped moving.
"Silas? Babe? What’s wrong?"
"..."
"Silas!"
"Huh?! Uh..."
"What’s wrong?" Chloe asked, her tone worried as she noticed his blank expression.
"The system... It stated some incomprehensible stuff... It said I should choose my women wisely. As if..."
"Choose your women wisely? You are going to get more?" Chloe asked, equally confused.
"This isn’t the place to discuss something like this. Let’s enjoy this and discuss it later." Silas gave Chloe a small kiss on the cheek, hoping it would settle the strange conversation. For a moment, things returned to normal, until someone stopped beside their table.
Silas looked up to see Kelvina standing there.
Up close, she was even more striking than she had appeared from across the room. Her white blouse, black inner top, pleated skirt with golden embroidery, and simple heels gave her an elegant appearance. Her long, double-braided hair swayed slightly from her recently halted movement.
She stared directly at Silas, her heart pounding so hard she could feel it in her ears. She had spent the entire evening trying to gather enough courage to approach him, but now that she was actually standing there, her brain stopped working.
Silas was even more divine up close. She could feel her cheeks heating up while her innards tingled weirdly. She could literally feel the dragon inside her roaring. It was shouting, declaring, "I WANT HIM!"
Silas waited for her to speak, and eventually she did.
"Dance with me."
Silence enveloped their area as he stared at her in surprise. Kelvina’s eyes widened as she realized her fault.
’Why did I say it like that?!’ Her pride screamed at her to walk away, but her heart refused.
"Please..."
Chloe’s expression instantly changed. The warmth disappeared from her face as her aura erupted before she could even stop it, causing the air around the table to become heavy.
Kelvina’s eyes widened as she felt it immediately: an overwhelming pressure, causing her dragon instincts to react. Her own aura burst outward, and the two forces collided.
Nearby conversations stopped as several weaker-willed guests suddenly staggered. One person nearly collapsed, while another grabbed the edge of a table.
Silas sat between the two women with a completely blank expression.
’Seriously?’
He slowly raised his hand, a faint pressure spreading from him. He used his Authority trait, causing the two auras to vanish instantly. The oppressive atmosphere disappeared as though it had never existed.
Silas looked at Chloe and winked at her, then he turned to Kelvina, and asked. "What is wrong with you?"
"I just want to dance," Kelvina said in a meek voice.
"There are more guys here. And you can see I’m with my girlfriend."
"I... Uhm..." Kelvina glanced at Chloe.
Chloe’s expression suddenly became amused. "You can dance with her."
Silas stared at her. He knew that expression, and that was not kindness. That was trouble.
"You sure?"
Chloe smiled. "Why not?"
"I’m doomed."
