Chapter 48 | Setting Up Store For Silver Chest!

Chapter 48: 48 | Setting Up Store For Silver Chest!

[What do you call a fruit that magically shows up?]

The girl’s green eyes flashed blood red and she licked her lips. "You blood would taste quite nice."

Andrew sneered. "I can tell you will taste really tight too."

"You!

Aurelyx figure burst into crimson aura as she flashed an appeared before him in what seen to be .1 second, just an inch from his face, barring her fangs in anger.

Andrew’s pupils constricted.

’What’s speed...’

He finally got a closer look at her and realize for the first time that he actually couldn’t see her level. Which meant she was at least 10 levels above him and also, she was actually a vampire.

"Aurelyx, if you don’t listen to me, I won’t invite you to sleep here next time."

The girl named Aurelyx pouted and glared at Andrew while whining like a child as she left. "Big Sister Lisa, I didn’t come here for a week and now you guys have chosen another Hero, it’s so not fair."

The middle aged woman shook her head. "Silly girl."

She then turned to Andrew and spoke with a smile. "She was the village hero before you but your reputation has surpassed her and you automatically became the Village Hero. She’s just jealous of you. As for the blood thing, ignore her, she’s playful like that."

"Oh." Andrew nodded as he understood what had happened. She’s also a player like him and had advanced to the city which meant she most likely has a class.

What he couldn’t figure out was how she got to this village. The system protects beginner players from higher level beings.

Therefore, it is impossible for anyone above level 10 to enter the beginner village, which means she has a special identity or maybe it was because she was a former village hero.

"Here’s a change of clothes for you."

The lady brought a fresh set of clothes and then continued. "Breakfast will be ready in 5 minutes. You can come join us for breakfast before you leave for adventures."

Andrew nodded his head and Lady Lisa left.

Andrew felt extremely refreshed.

’Today’s going to be a good day.’

He sighed as he stretched, his muscles popped nicely and he dressed in the clean clothes given to him by lady Lisa.

When Andrew got to the dinning table, the Village Chief, Lady Lisa and her daughter as well as Aurelyx were already seated as though waiting for him.

"Good morning. Sorry I made you guys wait." Andrew apologized.

"Hmph! Hero for one day and you’re already making us wait." Aurelyx grumbled as she ate her food.

The village head chuckled. "I see you two are getting along well."

Andrew chuckled internally. This girl was strong, but she kept behaving like a baby whose you had been taken away.

The title only provided -20 percent of all items. With the wealth he plans to acquire, 20 percent wouldn’t live him much.

But the hidden mission was important.

Breakfast was really nice. There was roasted lamb, fried rice and fresh salad with pepper soup.

It was spicy but incredibly satisfying.

Very soon, and under the glare of the jealous vampire, Andrew waved goodbye to the village head, the head hunter and the blacksmith.

Andrew took a deep breath, letting the crisp air clear his head.

He had things to do before setting out for the Hidden Misty Mountain.

Andrew walked to a spot near the village entrance, just inside the gates where there was a flat expanse of packed earth that served as a small marketplace during the day. The wooden stalls were empty at this hour.

Finding a sturdy table, Andrew set up a stall and then from his inventory, he retrieved a single Silver Treasure Chest and placed it on the table.

The moment the chest appeared, it emitted a soft silver glow.

Instantly, nearby players who were had woken up early noticed treasure and began gathering around him.

At first, there were only a handful, but within minutes, the crowd had grown to dozens.

Everyone stared at the treasure chest in shock.

"A Silver Treasure Chest?" someone whispered in a trembling voice.

"How is that possible?" another interjected. "It’s only the beginner stage! Silver chests don’t drop this early!"

"Where did he get it? Did he find a hidden dungeon?"

"Maybe he killed a boss that hasn’t been discovered yet."

"That must be it. He killed the Gray Rat King—that was an Elite Boss. Maybe Elite Bosses drop Silver chests."

"But the World Announcement said Arian’s party killed it, not him."

"Are you stupid? Look at the crimson marks. He clearly killed Arian’s entire party. He probably killed the boss too and the system credited the party because of some technicality."

The crowd grew larger and larger as more players noticed the commotion and came to investigate.

Soon, there were over a hundred people crowded around Andrew’s makeshift stall, their faces illuminated by the silver glow of the treasure chest.

"How much?"

"Name your price!"

"I’ll give you five hundred thousand dollars for it!"

"Don’t listen to him, I’ll give you seven hundred dollars!"

Andrew raised his hand, and surprisingly, the crowd fell silent.

"Ten million dollars," Andrew said calmly. "Real-world transfer. Non-negotiable."

The silence that followed was absolute. It lasted for nearly five seconds—long enough for a pin drop to be heard—before the crowd exploded into chaos.

"Ten million?!" someone screamed.

"Is he insane?"

"That’s more than most Ultras make in a year!"

"He’s trying to scam us!"

"No one would pay that much for a Silver Treasure Chest!"

"Maybe in a few months, when the economy stabilizes, but right now? That’s absurd!"

Several wealthy players attempted to bargain, stepping forward from the crowd with confident expressions.

But it was either their prices weren’t enough or Andrew didn’t like them so he rejected.

A young man with expensive-looking armor came out.

"Oh! That’s Davis. His family is quite wealthy in Silver Star city. "

The youth came forward and spoke.

"Five million dollars and I will transfer the funds this instant." He smiled smugly as though he was doing Andrew a favour.

Andrew hadn’t rejected when another gut with long black hair came before him.

"Eight million dollars with an Iron-Grade chest worth at least two million dollars."

A third guy came out offered Eight million dollars with an Iron-Grade chest he claimed worth two million dollars.

Andrew shook his head and rejected their offer.

But Andrew wasn’t in a hurry.

As time passed, more powerful players arrived as world spread through the various communication channels that someone was selling a Silver Treasure Chest for ten million dollars.

A Level 7 youth called Greg stepped forward.

He was known throughout the village for bullying weaker players. He was a big man, not as large as the head hunter but significantly more imposing in his black spiked armor. A cruel smile carved his face.

When he reached the front, he looked at the treasure chest greedily, his tongue licking his lips hungrily.

"I like that treasure chest, why don’t you give it to me, and I’ll promise to protect you."

Behind him, several of his companions lackeys laughed and cracked their knuckles.

Andrew was caught off-guard and instantly burst out laughing.

"You must be joking," Andrew rolled his eyes and ignored him.

Greg’s face darkened, the cruel smile vanishing replaced by a snarl of anger. Without warning, he threw a punch directly at Andrew’s face. The blow was fast, faster than most Level 7 players could manage!

Andrew eyed flashed and his arm moved in slow motion as he casually caught the fist.

"Bang!"

A soft shockwave blasted through the point of impact.

Greg’s expression changed but before he could do anything, Andrew’s fingers tightened around his clenched fist, crushing his gauntlet as well as the bones beneath it.

"Crack!"

The arm suddenly twisted to an awkward angle as it dislocated and broke.

"Ahhhhhh!"

The big man screamed in misery.

"Bang!"

Andrew kicked him in the chest, sending him flying 29 meters away from his stall.

The bully crashed through an empty wooden stall, scattering debris in every direction, and lay still, groaning in pain.

The entire crowd fell silent. Although many people knew Andrew had killed 20 and acquired 20 Crimson Marks, they were still shocked by what they had just witnessed. The entire exchange had lasted less than two seconds. Greg, a Level 7 player who had terrorized the beginner area for hours was actually beaten in just one strike.

After all, Andrew only possessed an F-Rank talent. How could he be this powerful?

Rumors immediately began spreading through the crowd like wildfire.

Many began suspecting Andrew had discovered a hidden inheritance or secret treasure trove that had allowed him to bypass the normal power progression and quickly link with NPC’s.

Just then, a young man named Marion arrived.

Marion was the son of a powerful guild leader, l

His access to resources was far beyond what normal players could dream of.

Unlike everyone else, Marion did not attempt to negotiate or bargain. He approached the table calmly and scanned the Silver Treasure Chest.

After his inspection, Marion nodded to himself and activated his transaction interface without a word.

"Ten million dollars," he said simply. "Transferring now."

The notification appeared in Andrew’s vision: an incoming transfer of ten million dollars to his real-world bank account.

He had provided his banking information when setting up his Heaven’s Domain account, a standard procedure that all players went through during registration. The money would be deposited within twenty-four hours, converted from in-game currency to real-world funds through the established exchange system.

Once the payment was confirmed, Andrew picked up the Silver Treasure Chest and handed it to Marion.

"Interesting," Marion murmured, more to himself than to Andrew. "Very interesting."

He placed the chest in his inventory then turned to leave, his companions forming a protective escort around him as he disappeared.

The crowd erupted.

"Ten million! He actually got ten million!"

"Who was that guy? He didn’t even hesitate."

"That was Marion, son of the Silver Phoenix Guild leader. His family is loaded."

"Lucky bastard. First he gets a Silver Chest, now he’s a millionaire."

"Think about it though, that chest could contain Silver-Grade equipment. In a few weeks, that gear could be worth ten times what he sold it for."
