SSS Rank: Limitless Extraction With 10,000x System

Chapter 87 | 2 Star Elite Boss!

Chapter 87: 87 | 2 Star Elite Boss!

Andrew was pleased with the extraction. Wind Slash was a ranged attack skill, something he had been lacking.

His combat capabilities had been primarily melee-focused up to this point, and having a reliable ranged option would significantly improve his versatility in future battles. Instead of wasting mana on Chaos Dao Flame every time.

He also extracted the usual attributes from the regular wolf corpses, gaining another 30-odd points distributed across his four primary stats.

Andrew licked his lips in excitement. This place contain far more powerful beasts. It was his holy ground! If they could just keep on coming then it would nice wouldn’t it.

After collecting his rewards and loots, Andrew drank Goddess’s Milk to recover mana but the truth was that he loved the taste of the breast milk.

He has no idea whose breast milk it was but he thanked her from the button of his heart.

He couldn’t help but wonder how that other fluid from her would taste like.

’Might even taste like heaven’s gate.’

Andrew thought as he sighed. His member twitching beneath him.

"Sigh. Let me deal with this mission first then will meet with Monica for more exercise. I wonder what more surprises she has for me."

He continued following the trail.

Several hours passed as Andrew tracked the blacksmith’s son through the increasingly dense and mist-shrouded forest. The terrain grew more rugged, with steep ravines, massive tree branches and roots, and moss-covered boulders that blocked the path.

The mist grew thicker, and the temperature continued to drop.

Occasionally, he would hear distant sounds and the roar of some unseen beast, the crash of falling trees, the eerie howl of wolves from far away—but nothing approached him directly.

His Omniscient perception, even at reduced range, kept him aware of his surroundings and prevented any ambushes. Several times, he detected creatures lurking in the mist.

Eventually, the trail led him to a narrow passage between two massive cliff faces. The rock walls rose on either side, smooth and damp with moisture, creating a natural corridor that was barely wide enough for two people to walk abreast. The mist curled through the passage like a living thing, and the air was cold enough to see Andrew’s breath.

He entered the passage cautiously, his Omniscient perception probing ahead.

The corridor stretched for about fifty meters before opening into a wider space, revealing a natural clearing surrounded on three sides by cliff walls, with a single exit on the far side.

And blocking that exit was a gigantic spider.

The creature was nearly three meters tall, its body covered in black armor-like plates that overlapped like the scales of a dragon.

Eight massive legs, each one as thick as a tree trunk and tipped with razor-sharp claws, supported its bloated abdomen.

Its eight eyes, arranged in two rows across its massive head, constantly skittered about.

But the most striking—and dangerous—feature was the sticky webs that covered everything nearby.

Sticky webs blanketed the surrounding trees, the cliff walls, and even the ground around the spider’s position.

They formed a network of traps and barriers that would capture anything unfortunate enough to wander into them.

The threads were nearly invisible against the dark rock and shadows, detectable only by the faint gleam they cast whenever light struck them.

[Cave Web Spider]

The spider detected Andrew’s presence almost immediately.

Its eight eyes snapped toward him in unison.

"Click... click... click..."

Its mandibles rubbed together, producing a rapid, unsettling series of chitters.

"Tik-tik-tik... Krrk... Krrk..."

The sound echoed throughout the cavern like dozens of tiny bones tapping against stone, sending a chill through the air.

Andrew didn’t give it time to prepare.

He activated Predatory Rush and charged forward, Godslayer Blade raised for a devastating strike.

The spider immediately reared back.

"HSSSSSSKRRR!!"

Its abdomen violently contracted as it spat a thick stream of webbing toward Andrew’s charging figure.

FWSSSH!

The sticky silk shot through the air like a glistening rope, moving with the speed of a bullet.

Andrew store his feet to the ground.

"Bang!"

He instantly side sidestepped the webbing the sticky strand splattering against the ground where he had been standing. He continued forward, closing the distance to the spider in a second.

Two of its front legs suddenly swept down in a scissoring motion, aiming to catch Andrew between them and crush him. The claws at the tips gleamed like curved swords.

Andrew suddenly activated Shadow Dash as he moved right beneath the spider’s massive thorax.

As he slid, he drove the Godslayer Blade upward, piercing through the softer tissue of the spider’s underside where the armor plates didn’t fully protect.

A high-pitched, piercing sound that echoed off the cliff walls and made Andrew’s ears ring. Dark, ichorous blood poured from the wound, splattering across the ground and Andrew’s armor.

The spider thrashed wildly, its legs stamping and kicking in a frenzy.

Andrew was forced to retreat, pulling his sword free and backpedaling to avoid the flailing limbs. One of the spider’s legs caught him a glancing blow across the shoulder, sending him stumbling sideways as gash appared on the side of his arm.

The spider continuously fired webs at Andrew, attempting to trap him from multiple angles,

The spider was surprisingly intelligent, using its webbing for battlefield control, gradually sealing off the exits and limiting Andrew’s movement options.

Ordinary players would have struggled enormously against this tactic. The webbing was incredibly sticky and strong enough to restrain even a Level 15 player for several seconds which is more than enough time for the spider to deliver a killing blow.

A player caught in the webs would be essentially defenseless, unable to dodge, block, or counterattack.

Unfortunately for the spider, Andrew possessed Chaos Dao Flame.

He activated the ability, and a mixture of blue and crimson energy swirled around his blade before merging into a brilliant purple flame.

The temperature in the clearing rose immediately, the moisture in the air beginning to steam and hiss.
