SSS Rank: Limitless Extraction With 10,000x System

Chapter 92 | Frontier City

Chapter 92: 92 | Frontier City

Inside the minds of Devil Rage Team, shock detonated. John stared at the black card, his pupils sharp and narrow. An S-Rank license.

This wasn’t about current strength,Andrew clearly wasn’t near Silver Rank yet. But holding that license meant only one thing. Potential. Monstrous, terrifying potential. An S-Rank Ultra could battle seven times above their own level. Someone like that wasn’t just talented. They were a walking calamity in the making.

Lucy, who had been so cold before, went completely silent. Her expression shifted in an instant. The arrogance and skepticism drained away, replaced by a quiet understanding.

Principal Constant didn’t assign him to us for protection. We were assigned to accompany a monster.

Michael stood frozen, a bead of cold sweat rolling down his temple. His giant hand twitched. He replayed every friendly slap he’d landed on Andrew’s back earlier. Shit. I’ve been treating a future monster like my kid brother. Please let him forget all of that.

Even Klen had lost his usual composure, his glasses nearly slipping off his nose. Jasmine’s mouth hung open. "...No way," she breathed, the playful spark in her eyes completely gone.

Andrew finally noticed everyone staring. He frowned. Did I do something wrong?

The female clerk straightened abruptly, her whole posture transforming. She lowered her head with deep respect, voice trembling. "M-My apologies, sir. If I behaved disrespectfully in any way... please forgive me."

Andrew blinked, then waved a hand casually. "It’s fine. You didn’t do anything wrong."

She nodded, still nervous. "Thank you, sir."

He slipped the card back into his pocket, but the strange atmosphere lingered. Nobody spoke. Then soft footsteps approached. Jasmine. She walked right up beside him and casually draped an arm over his shoulder. Leaning in close, her lips nearly brushing his ear, she whispered, "You’re actually an S-Rank Ultra...?"

Andrew glanced sideways. Her eyes were shining with genuine disbelief, like she’d just dug up buried treasure. "I don’t think there’s ever been someone your age with an S-Rank license," she murmured. "The youngest person in this city to get one was twenty-one." She tilted her head, studying his face. "But you... how old are you? I don’t even think you’re eighteen yet."

Then her smile came back, bright, dangerous, playful. She leaned even closer, her fingers tightening on his shoulder. "Well, this is amazing. It means you’ll take care of me in the future."

Andrew suddenly became very aware of something soft pressing against his arm. He forced himself not to react. This woman has absolutely no concept of personal space. He coughed awkwardly and smiled. "It’s just an S-Rank license. It only represents potential, not actual strength. All of you are still far stronger than me." He gestured around. "Honestly, I’m the one hoping you all take care of me."

Silence hung for a beat. Then Michael burst out laughing, a booming "Hahaha!" John shook his head, a grin breaking through. Klen smiled. Even Lucy allowed herself a faint smirk. The heavy tension cracked and dissolved. Everything settled back to normal, the team finally relaxing.

The clerk returned with the bill, her voice respectful. "Sir, your total is three million two hundred thousand dollars."

Andrew glanced at the price, then calmly took out his phone. A holographic payment screen appeared. He pressed confirm.

DING. [Transfer Successful.]

His balance updated: from 9 million down to 6 million. He wasn’t surprised. If a single Gold Rank weapon cost ten billion, Black Iron Grade gear costing a few million made perfect sense. He nodded. "Thank you."

The clerk bowed deeply. "It was an honor serving you, sir."

Several minutes later, the team piled back into the armored vehicle. John started the engine, and the massive machine rumbled to life. This time, no one joked. No one teased. Even Jasmine had gone noticeably quiet. Andrew noticed the shift and leaned against the window, watching the city slide past. So this world really worships strength that much...

After nearly an hour of driving, the scenery began to change. Civilized buildings thinned out. Skyscrapers faded. The roads turned rougher, more cracked. Then the vehicle stopped.

Andrew stepped out and froze.

Before him rose an enormous fortified city. Massive steel walls stretched high into the sky, at least a hundred meters tall, covered in dark alloy plating. Defensive cannons bristled from every section.

Heavy machine gun turrets rotated in steady, mechanical sweeps. Rows of tanks sat stationed outside the walls. Military transport vehicles lined the roads. Armed soldiers patrolled everywhere, some carrying advanced rifles, others manning heavy artillery systems mounted directly into the defenses.

The city gate ahead looked like the entrance to a war fortress: thick reinforced steel, wide enough for multiple tanks to roll through side by side.

But what really caught Andrew’s attention were the people gathered outside.

Dozens. No,hundreds. And none of them looked ordinary. Combat armor, giant swords, spears, axes, rifles, energy weapons. Ultras stood in groups, some laughing, others meditating quietly. A few sat beside temporary camps with portable tents pitched around the outer perimeter. It looked less like a city and more like the frontlines of a war zone.

At the gate, armed soldiers carefully checked everyone entering. Each Ultra had to present identification before being allowed through the heavily fortified checkpoint.

Andrew stared, his eyes slowly sweeping across everything. The sheer scale. The danger humming in the air. The military presence. It all pointed to one thing. Whatever lay beyond those walls was far deadlier than anything he’d faced before.

Beside him, John smiled faintly. His gaze settled on the giant steel walls ahead. "Welcome... to the Frontier Continent."

Beyond the fortified walls, the security only grew more intense. Andrew stood beside the armored vehicle, taking it all in without a word.

This place was a war zone.

Patrol units moved constantly around the perimeter. Squads of heavily armed soldiers marched in tight formations. Above, the mechanical buzz of drones filled the air, dozens of them sweeping back and forth, scanning every inch of ground. Higher still, military helicopters circled endlessly, their rotors thundering as they watched over the whole region.

But what caught Andrew’s attention most was the city itself. From the outside, the entire massive settlement was swallowed by dense white mist. It wasn’t natural. The fog completely devoured everything. No matter how hard he focused, he couldn’t see what lay beyond it,not building outlines, not movement, nothing. The city simply ceased to exist beyond that wall of white. And with military barricades ringing the entrance, there was no way for ordinary people to slip through.

Beside him, John began explaining. "The dimensional zone here is different from ordinary secret realms." He nodded toward the mist-covered city. "A long time ago, this part of our world merged with a piece of Heaven’s Domain. The dimensional fracture caused part of that domain to bleed straight into reality. So technically, this city no longer fully exists in our world."

Andrew listened carefully. John pointed at the fog. "The moment we step through that gate, our bodies will automatically be transported directly into Heaven’s Domain. But not the normal part. We’re entering a place called the Frontier Continent,a forgotten land, far from the popular regions where most people spawn. It’s isolated, dangerous, and because it fused with our world, it became one of the most valuable dimensional zones in the country."

Andrew nodded slowly.

So that’s why the military presence is this heavy.’
