Chapter 43: Increase In Strenght

Leon, in a short time, unfolded the core of the power system as if it were easy drinking a glass of water.

A question buried in Leon’s heart was answered along this session. He had been wondering why everyone wasn’t getting stronger if they could use magic. In this world there was no method or technique to use magical energy to grow stronger. You have to use your comprehension ability to shed your mortal shell.

So even if you have a conceptual-level talent and a great strong affinity for—for example—space, you won’t be nothing if you have the comprehension level of a potato.

This restriction was absolutely needed by humans, or they might have dominated this land and made everyone their slaves.

"So the commander can raze a medium mountain!! I knew our commander was the best. Commander, be sure to always look out for your servant!" On the other hand, Pooland started bootlicking Aldric. In his simple mind, the commander was a big thigh that should never be let go.

"Okay, okay. This is for today now. I have shown and taught you many things, so help me solve this case." Aldric nonchalantly raised his hand, signalling Pooland to stop. He was accustomed to Pooland’s behavior.

"Yes, commander." They both saluted with hands in their chests.

Several days went by.

Leon and Pooland have searched through every smaller noble family-owned shop and found nothing, except for getting on their bad side.

Besides this, Leon had tried to create new spells. He was surprised to discover any kind of spells he thought of in the games and media he could create. Additionally, he was able to use any kind of element—space, time, solar, etc. However, not all of them—the higher level spells or the element—were possible, as he found out he was restricted by his rank.

In short, his talent [Elemental Mastery] was a little overpowered.

Leon was ecstatic, thinking he would blitz through the ranks now. Unfortunately, not everything was easy. He didn’t rank up but just kept on adding new spells to his skill stats. He could only rank up through EXP, which he gained every day from wives and sometimes from Seraphina.

Aside from his EXP increasing, which will never stop, there were several spells on his skill stat, and all of them were from basic elements. He couldn’t create anything from an unorthodox or high-level element, even the shadow element ones, despite knowing two skills of it.

It seemed he could only learn spells related to those higher-level elements from the system until he reached the required rank to create them on his own.

He only created three of each element, not wanting to spread too much, or he might get overwhelmed by himself in the middle of the fight.

Another weird thing he was weirded about was why the system put the spells on skill stat and not made an entire new stat for it.

The surprising part was after their breakthrough, he received a system notification at the end of their sexual intercourse.

His wives were truly his fortune, physically and mentally.

With this extra boost in strength, Leon was a bit more confident tackling this case.

Currently, Leon and Pooland were standing in front of an inn owned by the Rosenthal Family at Street 13.

They have finished streets 11 and 12, leaving street 13. Yesterday they started inspecting the shops in street 13 but found no result.

Yet they weren’t dejected.
